07/03/2026: Ristorante Giovanni is one of those places in Turin that you never forget. You go there for good food, of course, but you return for something more: genuine care, attention to the raw ingredients, and cuisine that has personality without sacrificing restraint. The fried foods are simply extraordinary: light, perfect, never heavy. Mushrooms, artichokes, asparagus: in every season, they find a way to make themselves memorable. For me, they truly are the best. The service is always impeccable, discreet, never intrusive. And the atmosphere has a rare quality: it's quiet, discreet, and welcoming. Not noisy, not garish. A place where you eat well and still enjoy conversation, almost feeling at home. For me, it's become a favorite restaurant. And anyone passing through Turin should try it at least once. Then, they'll easily return.

The menu isn't extensive, but it still offers a decent selection of meat cuts. The meat is very good, well-cooked and flavorful, served with a baked palatina, grilled vegetables, or other sides. The desserts are traditional, often containing dulce de leche. Prices are average. Recommended

I recommend the smash burger, but also the other meat products! The fries on the side were delicious and well-fried! Special mention for the welcoming lady (I assume the owner)! 31/01/2026: The piadinas are good. I'm giving this review primarily to the service, as all customers were given free portions of fries even for just one order (as noted in the reviews). My table, despite spending over €60, didn't receive any. After asking several times, they still didn't bring them, claiming they're only given free to "some customers." A terrible impression.

04/03/2026: Excellent food with a wide selection of dishes. I often order takeout, and it saves me from having to buy dinner and lunch boxes! We also relied on them for our New Year's Eve dinner, everything was carefully prepared and delivered on time.

15/01/2026: It's so nice to be able to recommend such a special place. It's a restaurant, but also a delicatessen. You can have an exquisite pasta lunch with an amazing wine, try the most delicious tiramisu, and even take home a bottle of truffle-infused olive oil. Just like that. But the best thing about it all is the atmosphere. The person who greeted us was incredibly kind, the place is very intimate, and you're surrounded by soft jazz, watching the chef enjoy cooking. Because that's what you see: someone who loves what they do, who talks to themselves while they cook, who savors every step. And it shows.

17/01/2026: Order placed on Glovo at 7:15 PM, estimated delivery at 8/8:10 PM. At 8 PM, I called the restaurant for updates since they use their own couriers. I was told the delivery man was on his way and would arrive shortly (the delivery point is a 6-minute drive from the restaurant). At 8:25 PM, still nothing, so I called back and was told it was on its way. At 8:40 PM, I called back and was told again it was on its way, with no apology whatsoever for the 40-minute wait just for the delivery. They called back shortly after to tell me to "don't worry, it'll be here soon," pointing out the wait for the delivery of 4 panzerotti, which I'll eat frozen. They "explained" to me that the chef makes 30 orders a night. So, it's 8:50 PM and these panzerotti still haven't arrived. 8:55 PM, they just arrived, frozen.

15/02/2026: Perhaps one of the best seafood restaurants in Turin! I returned after a couple of years, and it exceeded my expectations. Quality seafood, a wide selection, and excellent value with generous portions. The service was friendly and we were served very quickly. The atmosphere was quiet and perfect for couples.

08/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and immediately loved it. The service is mostly selfie-style, but you can also order hot dishes like soup or pizza. The savory pies and samosas are excellent. The coffee is very good. The atmosphere is warm and informal, making you feel right at home... Excellent value for money. A lovely place to return to!
