28/11/2025: Lovely Cocktail Bar in the centre of Corso Umberto! Great service, cocktails and special little touches with canapés at no additional cost. Great music & vibes, would highly recommend visiting when you are visiting Taormina!

21/11/2025: The sashimi tuna is from heaven. I have eaten sashimi in NY, LV and MIA in the best restaurants, but this one beats them all.

The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, with a simple yet well-maintained feel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and service is generally prompt, even at peak times. The selection for breakfast and aperitifs is excellent: fresh, beautifully presented products, with consistently high quality. It's one of those convenient places to stop without a care in the world when you're downtown. Overall, a recommended bar for those looking for a reliable stop on the main avenue.

04/04/2026: The food took a long time to arrive. I ordered a beef dish from Angus, and 70% of it was salad and potatoes, with the remaining portion being the meat, even though it costs almost €20. The meat was lukewarm, almost cold, and the potatoes were very cold. They also brought the appetizer after the main course. The glasses were slightly worn from excessive use. The service was fine.

08/06/2025: The Orlando family has always welcomed people of all ages to their bar in Samarate. A youthful atmosphere, great music, and truly excellent cocktails have always been the hallmarks of their bar. The Spritz is excellent, as are other high-quality cocktails offered here that won't leave you indifferent. Coming for a good aperitif is truly easy. The atmosphere is beautiful, a city bar in a small town setting. Cristina and her staff are always top-notch, and the fast, smiling service has been a hallmark of 07 since its inception. The aperitif buffet is also excellent, always well-stocked and included with your drink. Stop by, you won't regret it.

16/05/2026: This is also a historic café that lives off its reputation.....it's leaky everywhere and now they've even changed the coffee brand. It used to be very good, now it's disgusting and watery. I'm someone who drinks coffee without sugar. The extremely slow service makes you think about getting up and leaving because of the long wait. 🤦🤦

11/05/2026: I'm sorry to have to write this review; but I went to the pastry shop two Sundays in a row around 10:00, a time that for a Sunday breakfast should be the "heart" of the service. Both times, the answer was that they had run out of croissants to fill. The ones left on the counter, honestly, were unappealing and "ugly" in appearance. I wonder how it's possible that a pastry shop on the seafront, on a busy Sunday morning, is so bare and with products that look like "leftovers." Besides the food issue, what ruins the experience is the welcome. Upon entering, you never get a smile; the atmosphere is heavy, and the staff looks at you strangely, almost as if the customer's presence were a nuisance. A negative note goes to the lady at the cash register, who doesn't even crack a smile. It's a real shame, but after two consecutive bad weekends, I don't think we'll be back for a third time. I hope that management will take these notes as a starting point to improve service and production.

16/04/2026: I order, pay, and ask if they offer table service. I don't usually ask, but due to an impediment, I would have gladly taken advantage of it if it had been possible. I'm told they don't (I point out that it was a completely calm moment, without any chaos). No problem: I grab my tray and, independently, take a seat at an outdoor table. I turn around and notice the table attendant very kindly serving the diners sitting practically next to me. First-class and second-class customers?

29/05/2026: Poor quality and small quantity: a small plate of chips for four people. I absolutely do not recommend this place for an aperitif. Stay away.

14/04/2026: A prerequisite: we ate very well, and the prices were fair. The seafood risotto and spaghetti with anchovies were very good, the grilled calamari and grilled sardine skewers were exceptional. This impromptu lunch on the beach on April 10th (and not in June or July) was ruined by the behavior of the manager, who was actually very polite and helpful. But... You tell me you'll bring me a bottle you need for the bar aperitifs and that we'll pay for it as we go, and you charge me without even checking the entire bottle (moreover, the dishes are listed verbally, without a menu and without any indication of prices). Fine, okay. I ask you for half a bottle of Borghetti at the end of the meal, and you charge me nine euros for the bar fee? (We had an aperitif beforehand, and we paid for it). A real shame; it could be a reference point for the Falconara seaside resort, but instead it feels like a place preying on the unwary. A real shame, because with 10/15 euros less on the final bill, five stars would have been obligatory.

24/02/2026: A charming, retro-inspired café. We stopped for a quick lunch snack, where we enjoyed excellent sandwiches and tramezzini. Service was prompt. The atmosphere was fantastic.

02/06/2026: The chalet might have its merits, but it's a shame the experience is ruined by those at the entrance. The bouncer, "GianMaria," in particular, is the perfect example of how even a modicum of power can go to the wrong people's heads. Arrogant attitude, rude manners, and a constant feeling of superiority toward customers. It seems the goal isn't to welcome guests or ensure safety, but to assert one's authority whenever possible. The most annoying thing is that it feels like the rules change depending on who you're with, creating an unpleasant and unprofessional atmosphere. A venue can have excellent music, views, and service, but when the first contact is with people who treat customers with condescension, the negative impression lingers. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a respectful and peaceful environment.

08/02/2026: The bar is very nice and well organized, but the cocktails are not adequate, in the sense that vodka lemon, gin lemon seems to drink only lemon soda, too much lemon and not enough vodka, not enough gin..... You should be a little more generous!!!

13/05/2026: We had a wonderful experience with a reservation through The Fork. We enjoyed the delicious pizza, the kindness of the wait staff, and the welcoming atmosphere where we could eat well and watch football in a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent value. We'll be back!
