19/04/2026: Nice atmosphere, the only problem was that they gave us menus to order but made us wait over 20 minutes and, despite repeated calls, they continued to take new orders from other people. In the end, we decided to leave, tired of waiting.

19/04/2026: They gave us the menus but no waiter came despite being called more than 2 or 3 times telling us to wait, new customers arrived and the waiters instead of taking our order decided to bring the menus to the other tables, after 20 minutes of waiting we decided to leave since no waiter deigned to come or at least give us a valid explanation for waiting.

30/05/2026: We had breakfast with an excellent cappuccino and some delicious croissants

14/06/2025: I am writing this review following the catering service offered during an event at the Ancona Astronomical Observatory 🌌. The food was good 🍽️, with quality ingredients, although the prices seemed rather high 💰—but I can understand that quality has a cost. What left me a little disappointed was the relationship with customers 🤷‍♀️. In particular, the attitude of the older gentleman, with white hair, was not welcoming at all. A more courteous and helpful tone would have certainly improved the overall experience, especially in a public and collaborative context like that of the event.

11/06/2025: The display at this caterer is truly enticing, and the food doesn't disappoint! The octopus salad was delicious 😋 Be careful with the portions, though, as they tend to be generous, and the bill reflects that! A great place to eat if you'd rather not go to a restaurant...

02/05/2026: May 1, 2026, table for 8, everything was good, my 11 year old daughter was disappointed. She ate: 1 small plate of clams, 1 first course, 1 fried dish, 1 sorbet, paid 60 euros. I WOULD SAY IT WAS DEFINITELY A LITTLE TOO MUCH.

05/05/2026: Excellent breakfasts, try the coffee with zabaglione. I've read some negative reviews about the staff, but honestly, I went there two mornings in a row, as I was on holiday in Pesaro over the weekend, and I found all the staff friendly and smiling. Of course, there's a constant coming and going of people, but on both occasions the counter staff were extremely kind and smiling.

30/04/2026: Seeing the older person behind the counter without gloves, picking up, arranging, and moving sandwiches and pizzas was not a pleasant sight at all. As far as professionalism goes, this is zero.

25/02/2026: Excellent fish, tasty... fresh and natural flavors. My girlfriend and I spent about a hundred euros. We had a hot and cold fish olive appetizer. Two first courses, a glass of wine, a coffee, and a dessert.

21/12/2025: Federico is an excellent host, but his is the real San Benedettese brodetto... Spectacular. The balance of flavors and the aroma of the vinegar are perfectly balanced, no house won hands down... Thanks again Federico, I'll be back soon.

05/12/2025: I was familiar with the takeout, but this place is truly a gem, a real gem in Ancona for both the atmosphere and the food. You guys are great! I'll be advertising you a lot, because when a business deserves it, it's only right to advertise!

25/11/2025: This restaurant, where I ordered takeout via Deliveroo, was incredibly rude. First of all, the guy, I hope not the owner, showed complete indifference when I told him my order hadn't arrived. And above all, saying the money isn't going to me, but to Deliveroo, seems like a total disrespect to the customer. Of course, we're in Ancona, so everyone knows that restaurant expertise isn't for everyone. The service is a complete fail.

07/01/2026: Here's a more fluid, balanced, and Google Maps-friendly version: ⸻ The people working at Astra were all very friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated. We had a quick lunch with slices of pizza and a drink. Overall, the experience was pleasant, although in my opinion the value for money could be improved: the pizza wasn't excellent, and the final bill was a bit high for what we ate. A good option for a quick, unpretentious stop.

31/12/2025: I've been there for both breakfast and aperitivo. The pastries are good, and the coffee is excellent. Delicious pizza and excellent wine. Friendly and friendly young staff. MUST TRY!!!!

02/07/2026: A shadow of its former self sadly. Often empty when the other two bars are busy. I so wish the owners would consider what it is they aren't getting right.

29/06/2026: A nice bar to take a coffee. We visited most days, sitting outside under the portion looking over the square. Good coffee, good gelato, very nice staff.

02/06/2026: I went into this bar, the owner immediately offered me a delicious cake, and I explained that I was in a hurry, give me a cappuccino and pastries.... He started telling me some instructive stories, I went up to the cash register and there was a woman standing there saying let me pay right away, no no don't rush to pay, she very slowly starts taking out a glass and telling me some more stories.... I think he can't hear and so does his wife... in any case, when they tell you that I'm in a hurry, you probably need to make sure that the person quickly gets their order and leaves...

09/03/2026: We entered the restaurant after having booked in advance and they made us wait 15 minutes just to seat us... taking orders in the entire room only 1 waitress who didn't even look us in the face... At 9pm no table had anything to eat on their plates... we sat down and after 40 minutes of waiting they didn't even bring us the menu... We left and no one stopped us, maybe even apologizing... Nice place, terrible management!

23/11/2025: A decent place with poor service, some dishes on the menu weren't available, and the wine list leaves much to be desired. It's more of a pub/brewery than a restaurant.

10/05/2026: We found this chalet by chance, just after arriving in San Benedetto for a few days' vacation. Since that first "chance" encounter, we've always returned to eat there. The cuisine is excellent, with fish dishes that vary daily depending on the type of catch; this, in my opinion, is an added value that underscores the owner's attention to quality. Another noteworthy feature is the menu that complements "His Majesty the Fish" with non-trivial meat dishes for those who don't want (or can't) eat fish. Last but not least, the customer service offered by the owner Marco and the entire staff. I can testify that, on a busy day, as soon as he saw me arrive, he remembered my preference for dishes not too heavy with sauce and improvised an off-menu dish for me: spaghetti with shrimp, prawns, confit tomatoes, and burrata, which I described as "outstanding." Highly recommended, and an experience worth repeating. Well done everyone!!

28/10/2025: Beautiful place, welcoming, innovative, and with extremely friendly staff. The pizza is excellent. We also ordered various types of meat, and I must say... truly delicious, cooked to perfection and unique. I absolutely recommend it.
