A pleasant spot for a seaside evening. Good pizza, but a limited selection of cocktails and after-dinner drinks.

Playa Solero was a perfect choice from the first moment we arrived in Ancona, that summer five years ago. With Gianfranco, Allegra, and the entire staff, my son and I feel like family like nowhere else here. A resort that reminds you every second, amidst so many contrasting realities, that you go to the beach to feel good. Eat well, drink well, listen to good music, smile, and let time pass calmly, otherwise it's better to stay home and do the laundry. Kindness and quality...Keep it up, well done!

A prerequisite: we ate very well, and the prices were fair. The seafood risotto and spaghetti with anchovies were very good, the grilled calamari and grilled sardine skewers were exceptional. This impromptu lunch on the beach on April 10th (and not in June or July) was ruined by the behavior of the manager, who was actually very polite and helpful. But... You tell me you'll bring me a bottle you need for the bar aperitifs and that we'll pay for it as we go, and you charge me without even checking the entire bottle (moreover, the dishes are listed verbally, without a menu and without any indication of prices). Fine, okay. I ask you for half a bottle of Borghetti at the end of the meal, and you charge me nine euros for the bar fee? (We had an aperitif beforehand, and we paid for it). A real shame; it could be a reference point for the Falconara seaside resort, but instead it feels like a place preying on the unwary. A real shame, because with 10/15 euros less on the final bill, five stars would have been obligatory.

Good fish. Typical dishes served at tables 10 meters from the sea. I recommend it.
