17/11/2024: We stayed in their cottage in late October. Very nice villa with private swimming pool a stone's throw from the main building. What can I say, a marvel! Hotel with attention to detail, breakfast with spectacular lake view. Restaurant with refined cuisine, wide choice of wines and top-level staff.

05/11/2024: I had a really good rest. It was quiet and the breakfast was full of fresh fruit and vegetable juice and plenty of fruit. I was very satisfied with the dinner as well. I am grateful to all the staff for their kindness.

24/02/2025: Great bar/restaurant for a quick and delicious lunch. Very fast service, excellent quality/price of the sandwiches. Located on a main road, large free parking, very welcoming place. Recommended.

21/01/2025: Everything was perfect from the service to the friendliness, to the menu, all the dishes we tried were truly delicious....we were at the bistro which is next to the tavern, both places are really nice, well looked after and clean. We hope to return soon.

La cucina poi davvero di gran livello, se volete mangiare vero pesce di lago, cucinato magistralmente, siete nel posto giusto! Dall'antipasto al dolce, il livello è altissimo! Inoltre il personale è molto preparato, attento e disponibile! Se dovessi tornare in zona, la Trattoria sarà una tappa obbligatoria!

24/02/2025: It is located in a place outside Sirmione that looks like a small village in Normandy. The restaurant Inside it is very well looked after and the staff is friendly. The food was excellent, especially the tartar and fried gnocchi.

08/02/2025: Quiet place to spend an evening with friends, friendly staff and the food isn't bad, their strong point are the really good burgers with prices in line with the competition... A negative note is that the bill, if paid by card, cannot be divided into 2 or more payments (e.g. everyone pays their own) you have to make a single payment and then settle between friends... Frankly, I don't like it as a choice, obviously the problem doesn't arise with cash... questionable choice.

04/12/2024: The ice cream is very good and there are many elaborate flavours, often new and particular. The staff is very friendly and in general it creates a nice environment even outside. However it is a bit expensive, for example the 3 flavor cone costs €3.70. The other day I bought a 3-flavor cone in an ice cream shop on the lake in Riva del Garda and it cost €3.50, and it was also at least double the size, so much so that it filled me up. Where I come from in Sicily, however, you pay €2.50 for a brioscia with three times as much ice cream. Staying in Brescia makes me feel poor. Edit: Reply to answer: The fact that in some hypertourist centers (Taormina? I can't think of anything else because Catania, Palermo, but also San Vito Lo Capo which lives exclusively on tourism, I can guarantee that they are decidedly cheaper cities than Brescia) There may be "even higher" prices, it's not a good reason to keep prices so high here. Brescia is an industrial and university city, it is not Riva del Garda nor Taormina or San Vito LC, and despite this it costs more than those cities. For comparison, in Turin I paid 1.80 for the same 3-flavor cone a few years ago, with inflation now it will be €2 or something more, almost half here and Turin is a good comparison because it is a city quite similar to Brescia , so why is everything here so expensive? I don't blame you, I know that you are more or less in line with the market and you have your reasons for keeping these prices but I can see 3 months later that, as much as I appreciated your ice cream and despite being able to come every day, from when I made this review I didn't go back to you. If you already have enough customers I'm happy for you but I'm sure you could have many more if the economy was doing better.

26/01/2025: Restaurant visited a few days ago, but I waited to write the review to let my thoughts and a little disappointment settle. I had heard very good things about Arugula and my expectations were high, but I wasn't happy with it. Homemade tagliatelle, handmade, very good and beautiful, but seasoned with undercooked ragù with the tomato separated from the meat. Platter of cold cuts to eat with your eyes, with delicious ham, but the rest tasteless. Good Giardiniera, but tasteless shallots with the addition of cured olives which, in addition to not being part of the local tradition, were very salty. The piadina is good. Furthermore, there is no vegetarian alternative, my wife only ate side dishes, in 2025 you must have alternatives for all your needs.

24/12/2024: Small bakery - pastry shop in the heart of Maderno. Here you will find a wide selection of breads, savory foods and desserts. Next to the pastry shop there is a small garden with some seats. Faced with this; a room with toilets. I usually go there to buy a couple of donuts (they have various flavours). The staff who work there are very kind.

12/12/2024: Carlo pastry shop is synonymous with high quality at a good price. A guarantee. For years now he has been a fixed point for children's birthday cakes and every time he manages to amaze with his creations. Great attention to serving and satisfying customer requests.

The carnival fritters are also really excellent. The environment is welcoming and spacious, ideal for a break or an aperitif. Friendly staff and average prices. Large free parking right in front.
