17/01/2026: An intimate and meticulously maintained restaurant, including excellent service, in the charming village of Cisano on Lake Garda. Brescia cuisine, sometimes revisited, and a few lake and seafood dishes, all expertly prepared. Prices are moderate, in line with the location.

20/02/2026: Passing through Sirmione, we looked online for a place outside the center. We liked the name, the photos, and the encouraging reviews, so we went there, which turned out to be intimate, cozy, and with great customer service. We loved the artichoke and potato tart on a bed of local cheeses. We'll definitely be returning to this place.

05/01/2026: First time at this fish shop, try it for takeout on December 31st, recommended by a friend. Out of curiosity, we ordered the €50 mixed raw fish, and as you can see from the photo, we were very pleased with both the quality and quantity. The gratinated scallops were, I think, the best I've ever eaten, considering we had to reheat them. The gratinated shrimp and calamari skewers were delicious. The sautéed mussels and clams were nothing special. Overall, a great experience.

16/02/2026: Yesterday, my family and I were in Salò for a Sunday stroll, given the nice weather and the fact that we hadn't been there in a while. After a detailed Google search over the past few days, my mother found this place that inspired her. We made a reservation for three at 1 pm. It's located inside Salò, with a few steps to climb (a bit inconvenient for strollers and prams). The place is small but very well-kept with a very classy atmosphere. Just a few tables ensure a quiet place. The menu offers a diverse selection of both quality and quantity. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom is very clean and smells great. Perhaps because it was Sunday lunchtime and it was busy, or perhaps because the dishes aren't the quickest to prepare, or because they're made to order, we had a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. We were full and chose not to order coffee, but they did give us a little gift of their homemade cookies (a much-appreciated gesture). The price was consistent with the quantity and quality of the food, and with the location and beautiful village. Very satisfied, we will definitely be back.

12/12/2025: Small bakery and pastry shop in the heart of Maderno. Here you'll find a wide selection of breads, savory items, and desserts. Next to the bakery is a small garden with a few seats. Opposite is a restroom area. I usually go there to buy a couple of donuts (they have various flavors). The staff is very friendly.

29/12/2025: An absolutely fantastic restaurant in the heart of Sirmione's old town. You sit on the terrace in a sophisticated atmosphere overlooking the pedestrian zone. The service is very friendly and they speak a little German as well as good English. The Bardolino was served at the perfect drinking temperature and was excellent, as was the Prosecco beforehand. The 'Contemporary Pizza No. 3' (with truffle, bresola, nuts, and burrata) was absolutely superb and one of the best creative pizzas I've ever eaten! The antipasti platter is also impressive. The prices are typical for the area.

09/11/2025: Food was delicious! Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere with all of the wines. I ordered pizza and my husband ordered Spaghettoni with Scampi, King Prawns, Lobster and Tomatoes. For dessert we ordered the chocolate in three different ways and it did not disappoint!

05/01/2026: Not suitable for tourists without a car, as it's quite far from Ravenna's city center. This is a family-run restaurant: the owner, Biagio, is truly kind and welcoming. We ordered "sciacquone" (a type of pasta) with caramelized figs, spinach and ricotta-filled tortelli with arugula pesto, and passatelli in broth, accompanied by a half-liter of red wine. Total €37. The portions were more than adequate and satisfying, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet and not noisy. Homemade, homemade cuisine, excellent value. Outdoor parking is available, and the restaurant is popular with locals. Not a tourist destination. Reservations are recommended, especially on busy days like Saturday and Sunday. We highly recommend it! We had a wonderful time!

18/12/2025: Trattoria with delicious traditional cuisine! The staff is attentive, courteous, and fast, a great, close-knit team carefully selected by a friendly owner who has been passionately running this restaurant for many years. Reservations are recommended!

28/12/2025: Years ago, when this pastry shop opened, I wrote a less-than-enthusiastic (but sincere) review. Now it's only right (given the million views I've had on my photos/reviews on Google) to update the situation. I've been buying various pastries and cakes from Bontempi for years now (both on-site and especially for takeout). The quality has reached levels beyond excellence. The coffee is now excellent, one of the best around (not yet as good as my homemade one, the fruit of years of obsessive testing and research 😁, but that's okay :)). I haven't yet found a single Bontempi product that hasn't amazed my palate. Amazing combinations of ingredients, incredible flavors, perfectly sized pastries, and a brilliant variety. I'm not even talking about the cakes...works of art in flavor, aesthetics, and care. Behind all this, there's not a pastry chef, but an artist. In the valley, we have a handful of truly noteworthy pastry shops (no, not all of them are "famous"), but Pasticceria Bontempi is definitely the best, on another level. P.S. When it comes to some brioches (almost all of them), it easily beats the two super-famous pastry shops in Brescia that everyone knows. I forgot! The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and truly passionate about their work. For those wondering, I have no "relationship/endorsement" whatsoever with the pastry shop... they personally don't even know me 🤣😄

31/01/2026: Found it by chance, but we'll definitely be back! The breakfast was spectacular (the real deal!) and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Shaker is a guarantee of friendliness and quality. Well done guys!

04/11/2025: What a wonderful place! Enjoying the beautiful weather as we walked in Salò in November we were ready to eat and Cantinone was the perfect place. The space inside was warm and welcoming as was the entire staff. The antipasto of local fish was excellent as was the Gnocchi and Mazzo di olio. If you are in the area I highly recommend Cantinone.

31/10/2025: A nice family restaurant in the town of Salò. The best of all that we visited during our stay. Excellent food, very tasty local wine and the indispensable Italian "dolce" at the end are served by a nice and very kind staff. If you eat in Salò, then definitely in Cantino! THANK YOU <3

06/10/2025: Very clean bar; tables inside and plenty outside, both along the waterfront and in the square facing the lake (very pleasant view). Excellent coffee shop, large selection of pastries. Fast, professional, and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the quality. We've been going there for ten years and have always been satisfied; it's always getting better.
