15/05/2025: I went on Sunday 11/05/2025 asking for two packages of pastries to take to the hospital. After waiting quite a while, I got two packages whose packaging I'll leave you to judge from the photos I'm attaching. There was no cardboard divider... the largest one opened completely before being delivered, since it didn't take a stroke of genius to put scotch tape or a ribbon on the long side. I made a bad impression, spent a lot and the quality was very, very dubious.

15/04/2025: Small pub hidden in the alley below the castle It has a very uncomfortable counter area... perhaps it would have been better to set it up in another way or leave it as it was many years ago It is a nice place but narrow and with many stairs so not suitable for disabled people The Belgian beers are good but I think they are too expensive Excellent carbonara sandwich Venue not suitable for large groups or events due to lack of space Friendly staff

07/06/2025: HUNTING EXPERIENCE I booked the table the night before on the online site, providing my credit card details, and was warned that if I didn't show up they would charge me the sum of Euro 75. I arrived promptly at the restaurant and was seated at a completely bare table and was brought a bottle of water. I waited 40 minutes and no one arrived.. Impatient, I turned to the Maitre who in a hasty tone told me that the water was on the house and that due to a problem they couldn't let me have dinner, in fact they shouldn't have even let me sit down... so why leave me waiting for 40 minutes without any communication? Maybe a phone call before arriving would have been enough, since I had left my contact details when booking... Unfortunately I couldn't have dinner, and I was rudely sent away, thanks anyway for the generous offer of the bottle of water... maybe to apologize for the inconvenience they could at least have offered me an aperitif (I was alone). The service at this restaurant and the handling of the "problem" they had that evening is mind-blowing...

06/06/2025: I don't usually leave reviews. Here I have to. I arrived for lunch with a colleague at 2 pm. I asked if I could have lunch. I was told yes. From then on, a series of pressures from the Maître d'. A tall, well-built man who I discovered had been there for a short time. I asked if I could have the wine list, he told me that we had to order first. And quickly. Because the kitchen had to close. A series of jokes made to me, like telling my colleague that women take a long time to choose... (3 minutes 3) In the end he made me take what he wanted due to lack of tranquility. He sat at the table and never left. Exhausting. Forgot to bring us the wine. Which then took care of it, the wonderful boys and girls for whom I gave 4 stars to do this and more, otherwise I would have given 1. I'll leave out other details because I would go on too long. In short, everything is fine. But the restaurant is also and above all made by the staff. If it weren't for the other guys I would have gotten up and left.

13/05/2025: From 2 to 5 stars. Finally renovated, with the possibility of eating outdoors in a dedicated space. Nothing to do with the Autogrill that was there before the renovation and above all with the horrid prefabricated building that replaced it for too long (due to Covid-19) during the works. Attention: the rating applies to Autogrill. Not for the distributor Kerotis, which I believe applies the highest prices in Italy

15/05/2025: A cozy restaurant with very friendly service. I have eaten there regularly with my colleagues from the Netherlands and Belgium during our project here. Always tasty and fresh regional food. Definitely recommended.

10/05/2025: Nice place to eat a good sandwich but there is also more on the menu. I had an Angus burger which arrived beautifully plated with lots of quality vegetables and potatoes. Good quality of wines served. Courteous staff. Average prices.

02/04/2025: Bar Condor is a simple and welcoming place, perfect for a coffee break or a snack in a quiet and familiar atmosphere, also suitable for a quick lunch! The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to make customers feel at ease. From 1st to 30th April it hosts the Le vie delle Foto exhibition, which can be visited during opening hours. A small space where art also finds its daily place.

01/05/2025: The food is always good, it's a shame that we waited more than an hour for our order. There were a lot of people, this is true, but all the tables that arrived after us were served, including a table of more than 15 people. Very kind waitress, but we ate at past 9.30pm...arrived at 8pm.

05/04/2025: I returned after about 20 years. Everything has changed, they no longer make beer (better). Hamburg cockerel, even if denied, heated. The skin was glued to the meat, if it wasn't heated, the skin comes off and the meat appears white, not dark. Desserts not of own production. I had different memories........ I'm sorry. Which I have never, I mean never approved of, peanuts. .. it must be because I don't like them..

25/05/2025: Great pizza! Highly recommend for an affordable but delicious lunch or dinner while in Sorrento. Only negative was the pressure when it came to paying the bill for a tip where we were essentially told to pay between 25-75% of the bill additionally as a tip (bill was €20) which we politely declined. Despite this I would still recommend and would go back.

23/05/2025: Stopped here upon arriving into Sorrento for pizza and had a chance to enjoy not just their pizza, but also their pizza sandwiches and Don Franco wines! The service was excellent and the open air environment was a delight! Whenever you're visiting and you see so many local people enjoying a mid-afternoon glass of their favorite beverage and a snack, you know you're in the right place. We even passed by a few times in the evening and Pizzeria da Franco was packed! If you're in Sorrento for a few days, this is an excellent pizzeria to visit.

20/05/2025: We ate in this splendid place, nothing to say, excellent and clean place, courteous staff, very good and quality food and honest price, spectacular duck ragù and very good scallops, we will definitely be back

20/05/2025: 1 star for the obvious lack of respect towards "occasional" customers and those with Nordic geographical origins compared to their fellow countrymen. We went for lunch on a Sunday and the 2 of us took the cheapest wine, water, 2 seafood appetizers and 2 fried foods, nothing extravagant. The table next to ours, in 4 of them from the same country \ acquaintances, took various types of appetizers, first courses and side dishes, coffee after coffee and desserts. They go to the cashier and we also get in line to pay. The owner in a loud voice, without even trying not to be heard, said "how do you want to pay me in cash? and then make it 80 euros for everything." Our turn comes, and without problems he asks us for 130. I understand the friendship discount, but this is making fun of us. Never again.
