25/10/2025: We had an Aperol Spritz and a Campari Spritz. Lots of ice and very little Spritz. Not even a crisp or a snack nearby. Rude people, to boot. €8 wasted.
26/08/2025: A charming spot in the heart of San Daniele with prices in line with the area. The atmosphere is well-kept and the stay pleasant. The staff is a sore point... The waitress walked past us "idle" and never asked us what we wanted. We had to stop her to order. The table was dirty (drinks from the previous person) and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Anyway, she was kind and polite... not a waitress.

31/12/2025: A sun-drenched terrace, even in winter. Good seafood served in manageable portions. Three courses are recommended. The wine list isn't fully available; it's best to choose in the restaurant itself. The service is attentive, but expect a wait. The restrooms are not appealing.

11/12/2025: The staff here is incredibly unfriendly. They refuse to take orders even with five minutes left before closing, and their rude, mocking attitude toward customers is unacceptable. Worst McDonald’s service I’ve experienced.
10/12/2025: The classic McDonald's like all the others, except that here there is little space for all the customers during rush hour, even though the staff does their best to solve the problems.

11/01/2026: The pizzas are delicious, but if we order a "bufalina," we expect a "margherita with buffalo mozzarella"... But no. Pizza with shaved parmesan and arugula.
I even called back, and they told me this is the "bufalina." 😂😂 It takes a lot of courage to run a pizzeria.
10/01/2026: Very extensive menu. Small but very welcoming place. It's not always easy to find parking in the surrounding areas in the evening because it's a residential neighborhood, but the experience is worth the search.

24/08/2025: One star, not for the pastry, but because they don't wash the coffee machine between each coffee; in 2025, it should be given a negative rating. It costs little and makes a lot of money on the taste of the coffee.

24/10/2025: I'd say the "service" I received for a coffee was quite embarrassing... the wait was endless, and she even complained at the end because she saw I was upset... but I say, if you know how busy it is in the morning, having two people to serve would be the minimum, and anyway, you can't give priority to those who come in later! Rudeness is definitely not a good calling card. Instead of complaining to a customer who is rightfully waiting, they should have apologized for the wait, and maybe someone stopped. But hearing them sound annoyed when they're the ones who can't keep up with the crowd is a no-go!

Thanks from the military who "protect" the city center.
16/12/2025: The desserts were good, but the staff was extremely rude. I had to point out the order in which I'd arrive several times after waiting my turn, but the staff was completely disregarded! The third time I left, I'll never go back.

07/12/2025: 5 pastries for over 11 euros. 5 different pastries. Two cream puffs, two baskets of cream puffs. One Neapolitan. The cream tasted like banana. The pastry tasted bland. And this is supposed to be a pastry shop?
05/12/2025: They don't close at 8:00 PM, but earlier.
At 7:38 PM, I was outside the front door, with all the lights still on and all the employees at the counter. After knocking several times and being ignored, I was informed that the shop was closed. I recommend updating the hours here on Google and outside the front door.

27/11/2025: Delicious and very fresh dishes... knowledgeable and very friendly staff... large interior... no reservations required... even if it's sometimes crowded, it's not noisy and it's a pleasure to have a quick meal inside... good beers available in the refrigerator at the perfect temperature.
Clean restrooms and ample space.

17/11/2025: The macchiatone was lukewarm, barely tinged with milk foam. When I looked disappointed, the clerk irritably replied that this was a macchiatone... I said, "You can have it!" She replied, "Any bar downtown." The brioche was also truly mediocre. Never again.
09/08/2025: The best coffee in all of Friuli and beyond, accompanied by the exquisite courtesy and professionalism of the two girls who serve it. You rarely find a welcome like this in a bar!

24/11/2025: I'm not a local, and I found myself there by chance. The lady behind the counter and the gentleman who served us (I assume they're the owners) were very discreet, but they immediately put you at ease.
They even gave us two chocolates (delicious) since the day before was their 50th anniversary.
The sweets we bought: delicious 😘
It's a shame it's so far out of our way; otherwise, we'd be regulars.
04/11/2025: After several years, I returned: it was my regular stop after an hour at the pool on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Unfortunately, the pastries disappointed me (I ordered the mini Sacher, which I personally found too dry), and I must have been unlucky, but the selection was extremely limited (on a Saturday morning). Furthermore, the interior deserves a major makeover; it's still the same as it was many years ago.

It's worth it for a summer or winter aperitif. It's located under the arches, opposite the statue of Julius Caesar.
27/07/2025: Service was below par. Cleanliness was even better: zero.
A young and very casual waitress served us: we ordered two coffees. When she brought them, the table was still dirty and set by previous guests. I pointed this out, and after putting the coffees away, the waitress said, "I'll take care of it now." She took away two glasses without cleaning the table, and didn't even bring sugar.
