12/08/2025: We arrive at the boutique, hoping for one of their excellent drinks. Since we're a fairly large group of independent and proactive women, we decide to push the three tables together with chairs. We sit down and this blonde waitress comes over and immediately, rudely, takes away the chips from our table. We have nothing to say about this, however, because what struck us most was the way she kicked us off the table we'd carefully arranged, claiming it wasn't our job. She then proceeds to set up the tables exactly the same way we'd arranged them. In the meantime, however, we've gotten fed up and have moved on. It's a shame because the drinks are really good, but in our opinion, those who work in restaurants shouldn't be allowed to treat customers that way. Furthermore, we always have to wait too long to get the menu, to order, and to receive our orders. In conclusion, I'll share an unfortunate incident with a friend of ours, who was threatened by the owner that he wouldn't be able to have his seat unless he ordered a second round. Shame on you, you can't FORCE people to order AGAIN while also threatening them.

07/08/2025: Have you ever witnessed a manhole being opened less than a meter from the table where you're trying to enjoy a coffee? And perhaps with a generous sprinkling of ant and cockroach poison? Here, yes. In disbelief, I watched the scene as if it were the most normal thing in the world, the atmosphere definitely ruined. No apology, no explanation. A surreal experience. It's a shame, because a little more attention would have been enough (and perhaps better timing for pest control...)

17/10/2025: I recently went for brunch. I waited over 20 minutes at the counter while the clerks chatted calmly, oblivious to my presence. The products served were of decent quality, but I noticed that the pricing varies depending on the customer. A small group of people, obviously well-known, got special, cheap coffee. I will never go back. The clerks were harsh and unfriendly.

05/10/2025: Brioche con crema è buonissima!! I bought one first and ate at the bar, then I loved it too much. So I bought another for take away! They also have good breads! If you live in this neighborhood, don’t miss out!

14/09/2025: Very cozy place with delicious beers and the usual high quality Italian coffee. The sight of local old gentlemen playing cards under the arcades takes you back a bit to a more relaxed old world. The staff is nice and helpful.

25/10/2025: We had an Aperol Spritz and a Campari Spritz. Lots of ice and very little Spritz. Not even a crisp or a snack nearby. Rude people, to boot. €8 wasted.

26/08/2025: A charming spot in the heart of San Daniele with prices in line with the area. The atmosphere is well-kept and the stay pleasant. The staff is a sore point... The waitress walked past us "idle" and never asked us what we wanted. We had to stop her to order. The table was dirty (drinks from the previous person) and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Anyway, she was kind and polite... not a waitress.

07/09/2025: I come to this pub because they have Leffe beer (my favorite), but also the Ascoli olives, mozzarella, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, and club sandwiches are amazing!! The waiters are great... very polite... Thank you!!!

31/10/2025: I have to be honest, this is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to, and I’m not exaggerating. The entire experience from start to finish was a huge disappointment. I ordered food and a coffee, but they refused to take payment for the food before it could even start being prepared. I stood there waiting while the line kept growing, and when we asked them to come and take payment so they could start preparing the order, the staff member yelled that they were “busy and had work to do.” Incredible rudeness towards customers who just want to pay and get what they ordered. The whole system is completely illogical — coffee is made on one side, and you wait for food on the other, so you have no idea where to stand or who to talk to. The lines are huge, nobody explains anything, and the whole place feels like total chaos. The order monitors are another disaster — no table numbers, no waiters, and while you wait, you don’t even know where you can sit. When you try to ask something, the staff just respond with “wait for your number,” without actually listening to what you’re asking. Everything is disorganized, stressful, and there’s not a hint of basic courtesy toward customers. I don’t eat pork and specifically asked for three fries without bacon, yet all of them had bacon. When I tried to explain the mistake, they acted as if it was my problem and didn’t care at all. The food was cold, poorly prepared, and tasteless, but what really ruined the experience was the staff’s behavior. I would especially point out the thin girl with brown hair, who was extremely rude and impatient — you could literally feel how much she resented interacting with customers. All in all, a terrible experience, and I will definitely not be coming back to this McDonald’s. If you’re a tourist thinking of grabbing a quick bite, skip this location. There are plenty of places in Trieste where you’ll be treated like a guest, not a nuisance🚩🚩

22/10/2025: I chose to go to this highly regarded establishment based on the reviews; I expected much more. The only positive aspect of the evening was the selection of six draft beers, but the selection of any canned beers was ridiculously expensive. The hotdog was disappointing, as the untoasted bun was barely half the length of the sausage and not even warm. The condiments (mustard, horseradish) were almost nonexistent. An evening to forget.

31/08/2025: A must-visit place. The manager assures us they have a few hundred beers... depending on your tastes.

02/11/2025: Honestly, I expected something more considering the high prices... the food tends to be salty, both appetizers and first courses. We didn't order a second course because we were disappointed with what we had.

13/10/2025: Embarrassing! We ordered three juices, three toasts, two coffees, and a barley coffee... we waited 25 minutes before the juices were served in a mineral water glass with two ice cubes. The toast arrived after another 5 minutes. Specifically, it was a very large sandwich (which makes no sense at 10 AM), not a toasted sandwich (unspecified by the service staff) made with three slices of frozen toast bread, generously stuffed with ham and cheese like at Autogrill. Then came the coffees... Mine was cold and had an "eye" that clearly indicated how long it had been sitting at the counter before arriving at the table. Bill €70. Aside from the view of Piazza dell'Unità, I'd say it was an experience to forget.

12/11/2025: This pizzeria is truly a little slice of tradition, with an atmosphere reminiscent of places of yesteryear. The pizzas are excellent, the dough is perfectly balanced, neither too thick nor too thin, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The decor maintains a classic, welcoming style, making the place feel homey and pleasant. The service is impeccable, friendly, and attentive. An ideal place to enjoy authentic pizza in a simple yet elegant setting.

04/12/2025: The staff could use some improvement, and the wait is often too long. The presentation of the menu and bar offerings could also be improved.

20/11/2025: I've been there twice so far. The first time I had a mixed salad, and the second time I had a medium slice of pizza with tomatoes, mozzarella, and cooked ham. The service was good. They have plenty of tables on the two upper floors and outside overlooking Piazza Matteotti.

04/10/2025: We tried the brioches: one with jam and one with cream. The pastry was good, but we found them excessively greasy and, above all, very thinly filled (perhaps a teaspoonful, for example). The place is also nice, but we couldn't even talk because the voices of everyone else in the room echoed so loudly.

31/08/2025: Brioche with crispy, buttery puff pastry. The brioche fillings are delicious. We paid €2 each for takeout. The experience was okay; I expected a wider selection of pastries, considering it's called a pastry shop. To me, it felt more like a well-stocked café. A bit pricey for the quality.

12/10/2025: I've been really enjoying going to Mezza Libbra lately. I highly recommend it, both the sweet and savory options.

30/11/2025: Absurd, door open, lights on, we enter with other people, they look at us and without even saying good morning they tell us we are closed
