07/05/2026: Fish restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking Trieste. Reservations are recommended. The service isn't the fastest, but very friendly; expect a bit of a wait, but hey, you're on vacation, so what?
We're not big fish and seafood eaters, but the antipasti misti, fritto misto, and spaghetti vongole were excellent, and the house wine was superb.
It was lovely.
01/05/2026: The terrace is right on the sea, and the staff is courteous and friendly. The menu features a varied selection of fresh seafood, prepared in an original way. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: For 40 minutes they were serving outside, telling me to be patient, she's alone, very puenissimo. Only one person serving, disorganized and rude 🤬
27/03/2026: At this typical pizzeria in old Trieste, we were greeted warmly by a very knowledgeable waitress. Even though we arrived at rush hour, we didn't wait long, and best of all, we ate two delicious pizzas: the dough and ingredients were top-notch!

23/02/2026: This was a unique experience and so personalized from the front desk Dominica, our maitre de Giacomo and Chef Enzo. We were offered coffee as soon as we arrived. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they even made a cake and sang Happy Birthday to her with free wine too! This is a very culturally Italian experience to book here. If you're expecting a very fancy hotel, it's not that. It is a perfect situation for a quiet wonderful experience

07/05/2026: Typical downtown McDonald's. There's a small line, and the way orders are taken is also handled in an interesting way. You can't ask for a table, and the server occasionally clears all active orders on the display, then randomly says the numbers, mostly in Italian, rarely in English.
05/05/2026: Stopped by this morning for a coffee. The croissants look like this, not much to say.
I also visited the store on Via Flavia last week, where I was served a Nutella muffin that was frozen inside. I politely asked if I could have another, but the girl microwaved it and it had become rubbery.

19/04/2026: After going out for a drink in the evening, I politely asked the long-haired girl to pay the bill while I was sitting. She looked at me silently for a few moments, then told me she didn't know the price of the drinks she served!
I hope the service changes because it's a bar I frequent often with my friends.

02/05/2026: I'm sorry to have to write this review, but the poor service we received was unacceptable. Despite the initial wait, we were ignored at our table while other customers were served before us.
After waiting in vain for someone to take our order, we decided to leave the restaurant.
I politely informed the manager of the incident, hoping it might help improve the service, which today seemed completely unprofessional.
Saturday, May 2nd, between 9:15 and 9:30 PM

17/11/2025: The macchiatone was lukewarm, barely tinged with milk foam. When I looked disappointed, the clerk irritably replied that this was a macchiatone... I said, "You can have it!" She replied, "Any bar downtown." The brioche was also truly mediocre. Never again.
09/08/2025: The best coffee in all of Friuli and beyond, accompanied by the exquisite courtesy and professionalism of the two girls who serve it. You rarely find a welcome like this in a bar!

02/05/2026: The bar is beautiful and incredibly welcoming, but the real plus is Fiamma: cheerful, kind, and always impeccable. She makes you feel right at home. I'll definitely be back!
14/04/2026: Highly discouraged for ice cream. We paid €4.80 for two scoops, a disproportionate price considering the quality and, especially, the quantity.
Specifically:
• Portions: The scoops were truly meager, almost transparent. For that price, you'd expect a decent cup or cone.
• Quality: Definitely questionable. The flavor doesn't even begin to justify the high price.
In the center of Lignano, there are much better options where the quality and courtesy of the service (and portions) are on a whole different level. Embarrassing value for money.

27/08/2025: We ate at the restaurant today and the waiters were all very attentive and friendly! It was completely full, but everything was quick and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!
19/08/2025: Breakfast was poor. Being Italians, we prefer sweet foods, but at this hotel, breakfast was mostly savory. They had more cold cuts than sweet options. Only two types of croissants, and rarely any cakes. Service was almost nonexistent. We constantly had to alert the staff when water and cups were out.

16/03/2026: A real shame. The products served are good, the place is beautiful, but the service is subpar. The coffee spoons and drink cups are often dirty. This carelessness is unacceptable. I recommend greater customer service. Not everyone likes drinking from dirty glasses or stirring their coffee with a dirty spoon...
