08/04/2026: The substance is there. I really liked the first courses, the second courses, and the desserts. The appetizer I ordered (fried gnocchi and cured meats) was less so. The gnocchi were NOT greasy, but I didn't like them because they were a bit too hard (obviously, that's a personal preference). The cured meats were good. I liked the atmosphere, even if it was a bit messy (like a window curtain with the rod holding it broken). Inside, it was a bit chilly, with people wearing jackets while having lunch. The service was aseptic, in short, without feeling, a bit too rushed. Prices were high... especially for the desserts, although I must reiterate, they were very good... but 8 euros for a smooth mascarpone is a lot (in my opinion). My average star rating would be 3, but it deserves 4.

02/01/2026: I was here today for lunch and it was good, the toast was good, even if there was too much cooked ham, the place is simple but beautiful, with the service they were very quick in bringing the food.

02/01/2026: The bar is very nice and the piadinas are good. The bathrooms are very clean. The only problem is that the menu is completely erased and there's very little to choose from. On the other hand, the food is good.

22/02/2026: A restaurant located outside of Ferrara's city center, a mediocre experience. The pizza was nothing special, a bit heavy and not very easy to digest. Some of the burgers were bad, unfortunately of poor quality. (Not enough meat and terrible flavor.) It's a Saturday night, but the service is too slow. With such a long wait, about an hour and a half, it's unacceptable that they didn't at least bring drinks promptly (we even had to insist with the wait staff). The prices didn't match the quality. A SHAME.

06/02/2026: I ate a very thin and dry pizza, with very little toppings and very few ingredients. It was practically a crust that was almost impossible to cut. It's a shame because the place is very nice and the staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful.

13/12/2025: Good food, superb pastry shop! To be sure, I always get my cakes from them. Bakery and restaurant/pizzeria. Small place but super cozy and very attentive. Lots of workers at lunch, so reservations are probably best. A la carte and fixed menus are available. Highly recommended!

25/02/2026: This review was written after other groups arrived later. I don't recommend it. This review was written on instinct. I apologize to the owners and staff. The wait time was about the same to have everyone's dishes ready at the same time, having chosen between pizza and chicken. The only downside is that children have priority. I recommend it for its value.

The place is located in the most beautiful square in the city, offering stunning views of the magnificent Estense Castle, a truly spectacular setting. I highly recommend sitting outside, where the staff, especially the very kind Alessia, will courteously welcome you to comfortable seats. The products offered are all top-quality, and thanks to Alessia's expertise and attentiveness, the tasting experience becomes even more enjoyable and meticulously crafted.

02/05/2026: I went to this restaurant with high expectations, given the price (about €20 for a first course), but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations. The food often arrived overcooked and underseasoned: both the clam and seafood first courses, and other dishes were poorly prepared. The only positive note was the children's cutlet, which was good. The service also left much to be desired: the coffee creams arrived overflowing, making it difficult to even pick up the glasses without getting dirty. The location is certainly beautiful, right on the sea, but neither the service nor the quality of the food can match it. The quality-price ratio is not adequate for the price charged. Furthermore, when we got the bill, an extra €10 had been added by mistake: luckily we noticed. I definitely won't be returning!

19/04/2026: Today we had lunch at this seaside restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing, especially considering the final bill of 90 euros. Let's start with the positives: the waiter who served us was very polite, kind, and professional. The French fries were the only truly good thing about lunch. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal wasn't up to par. The mixed fried seafood was not good: greasy, with an unpleasant texture, and below-average quality. The spaghetti with clams was also a huge disappointment: overcooked pasta, lacking flavor, poorly prepared sauce, overcooked clams, and portions that were outrageous for the price. We waited about 20 minutes for our first courses, even though the restaurant was almost empty. We were served stale bread. The table was also wobbly; we reported this, but it was ignored. We were only served one glass for water and wine, while other tables were given two glasses. Final note on desserts: there were no homemade desserts or ice cream; The only options were tiramisu and pre-packaged or frozen profiteroles. The bathrooms were very dirty, and there wasn't even soap to wash your hands, a serious problem in a restaurant open to the public. In short: the price was completely disproportionate to the quality. I'm giving one star only for the kindness of the waiter.
