16/01/2026: A well-known restaurant in Ferrara that I found overrated compared to my high expectations. Personally, I find the menu rather boring and repetitive, almost always featuring only fish, and therefore it's not to my liking. The service, unless you're a known and loyal customer, isn't particularly attentive. The open space overlooking the street is interesting, especially in summer and fall. Recommended but with reservations; it's definitely a place that could improve, especially in terms of value for money. The reservation service could be improved.

18/01/2026: I found it by chance after reading the reviews and looking at the photos of the dishes. This time, let's start with the things I didn't like the most: the lighting in the restaurant was disappointing, with ineffective lights. The space is also a little cramped, but it's manageable. From here on out, only positive things. The menu isn't overwhelming, so you can't get lost. There are 5-6 choices for each course, traditional Ferrara dishes and a few different options, including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. I tried the creamed cod with chickpea cream, pumpkin tortelli, and salami for sauce. Not much to say, the dishes were good and well-prepared (perhaps I would have preferred the ragù for the tortelli to be different: the pieces of meat were large and the sauce a little runny, but that's a minor detail). Special mention for the service! The waiters were kind and attentive, smiling and pleasant, and they also gave us effective advice. Truly excellent. If I were to return to Ferrara, I would definitely return here.

15/03/2026: I celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday yesterday. A beautiful party. Thanks to Mr. Giovanni for his unparalleled professionalism. A special thought to Pasquale, a brilliant DJ who livened up the party exceptionally. Impeccable service. The food was good. I didn't give it 5 stars because they should improve on the desserts, even though I'm a bit picky about that. Recommended

07/03/2026: After looking at several venues, we chose Glam Food & Events to celebrate my daughter's eighteenth birthday. The experience was remarkably positive in every way, but I can't help but mention the professionalism of the manager, Giovanni, the helpfulness of the dining room manager, Simona, and the quality of the food we were served. A heartfelt thank you for this wonderful experience.

21/03/2026: Very cozy restaurant by the canal. We went on Saturday, and it was packed. Had an amazing antipasto with fish crudo; it was very good, and it came with a little paper describing each fish. Also, it included a small sorbet to refresh the taste of each fish. It was very well presented and great. Had some delicious pasta, and both dishes were very tasty. They have an excellent fish grill and the famous 'Eel grill' with it. The staff was all friendly and very professional, providing excellent service. Cannot say enough good things! Highly recommended when you visit the city!

21/02/2026: We were there on Valentine's evening, and despite the large number of people, the service was fast and impeccable, the pizza was excellent, and as always, the atmosphere is wonderful!

10/10/2025: A very refined and welcoming restaurant, furnished with a simple yet warm taste. The welcome was extremely courteous, making us immediately feel at home. We chose a carafe of red wine, which turned out to be surprisingly good, well above the average for what's usually offered at this restaurant. The first courses were a real surprise: the spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood and the potato and spinach gnocchi with a delicate cream, prosciutto, and chopped pistachios (off-menu, special of the day) were both excellent, with generous portions and precise cooking. The most memorable note were the tigelle: light dough, perfect air bubbles, evenly cooked. Truly among the best we've tried, true to the tradition of Pavullo nel Frignano. The accompanying cured meats were also excellent, clearly of high quality. The generous portions prevented us from continuing with other tastings, but this remains a more than compelling reason to return and explore the rest of the menu. Conclusion: a restaurant where cuisine, hospitality, and atmosphere coexist in harmony. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen staff. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

10/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the two ladies in the dining room were kind. We chose eel risotto, which was good, although I was a bit disappointed. Knowing pasta with eel sauce is a good choice, I expected a different flavor. Then the grilled eel was good, although perhaps a little too dry. Prices were reasonable.

17/02/2026: Cambusa was an experience. It was a place I'd been eyeing for a while, and I finally managed to go in and spend an evening there. Amazing, beautiful place, wonderful people, delicious food. Perfect for meeting people, listening to jazz, and drinking a good Guinness. The owner is very kind and full of stories from the place's past. A peaceful haven in Ferrara.

10/10/2025: The owners are kind and helpful. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch, breakfast, or coffee break. You'll find only quality ingredients here, including top-notch bread, cured meats, and cheeses. The sandwiches are a guarantee! The coffee is EXCELLENT. They clean the filter holder and refill the machine with water after every brew! Highly recommended.

03/10/2025: Excellent cappuccino in the morning, and besides the piadas and pizzas, there's also a fantastic fresh salad with a wide variety of ingredients for lunch. In spring, summer, and autumn, you can find a table under the cool foliage in a welcoming atmosphere.
