17/07/2024: Coffee was really nice, however, visit was really let down by the staff. In particular, the waitress with green hair was not very knowledgeable when I asked her about the different pastries. Whilst, I appreciate she was trying to speak in English despite her limited grasp of the language, it would have been helpful to clearly know which pastries contained allergens. In a large city like Bologna I would expect the staff to be knowledgeable about this subject in English too. If I were in her position I would have used Google translate to help a customer rather than just shrug my shoulders.

01/08/2024: Reviewing a place, which I would define as mythological rather than historical, is always difficult. Our parents frequented it more than forty years ago, it was the sandwich bar pub in the eighties, it survived the millennials and is still one of the most popular places in the city today, despite its not very central location. However, what seems to be missing at Wolf is a well-defined identity, which is reflected in the extremely heterogeneous clientele: you can find everything from groups of high school age kids to university students, from specialists from the nearby Polyclinic to work aperitifs, from couples on their first outing to the grandparents who saw Wolf born. And perhaps this is precisely the secret of its longevity. The environment also reflects this vocation for inclusiveness: the more classic style interior with the beautiful wooden counter, a more modern part with the stage for live music and the external veranda which acts as a smoking room. The gastronomic offer is extremely varied, from the Emilian platter with crescentine and tigelle, to pizzas with the most disparate variations of dough, to classic fast food. The quality is not excellent, I would say medium-low even for a place of this category. The choice of draft beers is decent, even if a little limited (my favorite, the Irish red ale). The staff is young. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perhaps the real strong point of the place. Of course, if you expect the classic Irish pub or high quality raw materials, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for a pleasant and undemanding evening, you know that the Wolf is always there waiting for you. Certainty.

09/08/2024: There are motorway service stations and motorway service stations. I hate queuing at one checkout, seeing that they open a second one next to it and allowing a second queue to be created from scratch without respecting those in the queue. Then Arabic coffee for €1.70 because the coffee grinder is broken and 4 people behind the counter are in absolute panic. Grabbing a quick coffee was a very long stop.

15/06/2024: I sat at Caffè di Armani and experienced courteous and professional service, excellent coffee quality, wide choice and lots of tranquility. the prices are from Galleria Cavour, but we know it and I know it does. Touristy. No, I would advise tourists to avoid Galleria Cavour, and enjoy Bologna, if they then want to take a walk to admire the luxury then ok.
