30/06/2024: I've already been there several times, I had an aperitif and breakfast here. The croissants are spectacular and the coffee too. The complete aperitif also, quite cheap! The staff is very kind, the interior is beautiful and the external environment is really nice!!

30/06/2024: We stopped for drinks and when we saw the amazing patisseries and savouries we couldn't resist. It was incredible for the cost. I asked for a chocolate éclair and a canoli to take away and they were gift wrapped and tied in gold ribbon. All for under 3 euros. And they were delicious. Just go!

27/07/2024: Historic venue in the city with the possibility of tables on the pier, overlooking Castel dell'Ovo, exceptional hospitality, excellent quality food, from traditional cuisine to very fresh fish; excellent wine list, exquisite desserts, very helpful and kind staff for every request, evocative atmosphere very close to the sea, often with pleasant performances by musicians who enliven an unforgettable evening. Good quality/price ratio. Go there!

22/07/2024: Location, location, location, but unfortunately the food suffers. Nicely located at the marina. There is a lovely atmosphere, especially when the sun goes down in the evening. The boats and Vesuvius in the background. That makes everything very, very tempting and you like to sit down here. Especially when there are a lot of people, you really feel like you are in an Italian marina. Everything else, however, is not at the highest level. We had eaten fish which was very very small portion only. The noodles are probably homemade and you have to be used to them being a little harder. The salad was very fresh and we can only recommend the house wine with the rosé. For dessert we had a tiramisu that we had eaten 1,000 times better elsewhere and the caprese was also much too dry for us. Therefore, we can unfortunately only give three stars here. For the ambience, we don't pay much attention to the food. You can give five stars here.

12/03/2024: Sitting on a sofa outside, we had a non-alcoholic aperitif served with chips and tarallini. Paid 6 euros per person. Price a little excessive in relation to the environment, the service and what we drank and ate.

30/08/2024: Super pampered is the right term!!! On August 26, my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was a divine evening: excellent food, we personally chose from the catch of the day which was then roasted again. Furthermore, the friendliness and kindness of the owner Alessandro was it was a magical touch to an enchanted evening...10-10-10 😍

04/09/2024: We arrived in Naples quite late and needed to eat and orientate ourselves. We landed on this place and felt very lucky! The food was delicious and the atmosphere, view and service was perfect. A lively and up beat place with a lot going on! Perfect for getting a flavour of this lively and upbeat city!! Thank you!

04/09/2024: Everything we ordered, apart from the wine, was awful! 😖 so disappointing! It started with a bag of very stale hard bread and the olive oil was so bitter it was inedible! The parmigiana I think was old and reheated, it was cold, dripping in oil and inedible, the mozzarella with the tomato was of ver poor quality, like eating a wet sponge! Gnocchi was cold and not tasty, even the rocket on the salad wasn’t nice! Very poor all round apart from the great location, ambience and the wine 🫤

19/07/2024: New owner who is very arrogant and has no respect for the bar, Bar Betania was previously a serious bar, now it is advisable not to frequent it, only the waiters and the staff behind the counter are saved..

08/08/2024: Only place that was open during lunch. Unfortunately not tasty. Hamburger was burnt, without bun with a few pieces of burnt potatoes. Sincere and unfortunately a not so good place to eat. Dangerous and dirty to eat such burnt products. Also not as depicted and described on the menu. A real waste of our money.

27/07/2024: As soon as we arrive at the bar the waiter immediately seats us (a very kind and polite person), takes our order and in less than ten minutes we are served. Compliments for the fabulous breakfast croissant and cappuccino.

17/08/2024: I forgot my lunch bag on a table due to distraction, but the super friendly staff immediately put it aside to give it back to me when I returned. A truly positive experience that dispels certain stereotypes that people continue to make about Naples

19/07/2024: Bad customer service. The waiter yelled at us when we tried to ask about prices. Also, I have never had such a bad smoothie. It tasted like nothing. Do not recommend.

20/08/2024: It happened to me twice that I had to change a €50 banknote into smaller denominations and also a part into coins and the cashier was both very very kind and happy to help me. The vast majority don't do it by saying they don't have enough cash in hand and then taking it all back immediately, on the spot, if you buy even just a €1 pack of chewing gum. By purchasing something even worth a few cents, banknotes will "magically" appear which, according to the cashier/king, were not there until a few tenths of a second before!!! So 5 stars well deserved!!! Furthermore, the Bar is very beautiful, strategically positioned perfectly in relation to road connections, it has a huge car park for customers, even trucks can easily fit in because of how large it is. The only evaluation I can't give is on the food because I haven't tried it personally, unfortunately, because according to many friends and acquaintances it's all very good, both sweet and savory!!! So in summary SUPER RECOMMENDED!!!
