08/04/2026: The ice cream is wonderful, without any coloring or added flavors. Completely traditional Italian ice cream. The staff is very kind. The only drawback is that while it has 2 tables outside where we sat, it doesn't have a toilet, and when you're a tourist you need one.

07/04/2026: I'm not a tourist, so I can assure you that your gelato is one of the best in town! Very fair prices despite the central location, excellent gelato! The portions are truly generous, and I thoroughly enjoyed my cup!

01/04/2026: My wife and son and I were in the beautiful city of Matera last week, and right below our B&B, we decided, at the recommendation of many locals, to try this excellent restaurant. We started with the traditional peperoni cruschi, then moved on to the excellent orecchiette with mushrooms and sausage and a traditional soup. But the real masterpiece was the dish that gives the restaurant its name: the Pignata. A pan covered in oven-baked bread containing tender and delicious sheep cooked for 18 hours with potatoes and carrots. We finished with a delicious, crunchy and bitter dessert. 08/05/2026: If you are in the area, don't miss this restaurant! The dishes are absolutely delicious, made from natural and fresh ingredients, with an authentic taste that makes a difference. The service is impeccable, and Mrs. Gabriela, our Romanian, offers excellent recommendations according to each person's preferences. We tried: * Tagliere Misto – a tasty mixed platter of cheeses and cold cuts; * Parmigiana Tiramisù – a delicious reinterpretation, similar to an eggplant moussakale; * Orecchiette al Tegamino – traditional pasta prepared perfectly, exactly to our taste, with an absolutely delicious tomato sauce; * Tiramisù – small portion, but extremely tasty. A perfect place for a tasty lunch or a special dinner. I recommend with all confidence!❤️

17/05/2026: Antonella, Gino, and Filomena were incredibly welcoming, kind, and affectionate. Gino was also an excellent tour guide, while the housekeepers pampered us with typical local delicacies. When you come to this bar, you're buying a story, not just a drink or a dish. Definitely worth stopping by!

17/12/2025: Today I had lunch at this lovely, clean restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. I returned after a year and the experience was once again pleasant. The broad beans with chicory and the millefeuille are highly recommended.

03/05/2026: The staff were truly kind and helpful, friendly, and approachable. The terrace tables offer a truly fantastic view of the harbor, and if you look up, you can even spot Christ. The food was high-quality, from the raw ham appetizer or the ricotta, blueberry, and shrimp cheesecake (truly delicious) to the main courses, finishing with dessert. A wide selection of wines. We even took a look at the kitchen and were surprised by how clean it was (absolutely not expected). We'll definitely be back.

06/12/2025: Perfect! A beautiful property in an old building, centrally located, with a view of the Sassi. Comfortable yet luxurious rooms, with attention to every detail. The friendly, helpful manager and staff make you feel at home.

28/10/2025: We just dropped in for an aperitivo on their beautiful terrace overlooking Matera. The service was wonderful and incredibly friendly, and it's worth stopping by. We happened to be there just as the entire city was lighting up, so the view was even more stunning. We recommend the 007 cocktail.

19/05/2026: A panoramic restaurant overlooking the Sassi... Seeing is believing. Evocative. For those who love Lucanian cuisine, this is the perfect place.
