08/04/2026: The ice cream is wonderful, without any coloring or added flavors. Completely traditional Italian ice cream. The staff is very kind. The only drawback is that while it has 2 tables outside where we sat, it doesn't have a toilet, and when you're a tourist you need one.

07/04/2026: I'm not a tourist, so I can assure you that your gelato is one of the best in town! Very fair prices despite the central location, excellent gelato! The portions are truly generous, and I thoroughly enjoyed my cup!

04/04/2026: I stopped by by chance while looking for a restaurant, and I was very satisfied. All the staff were kind, and thanks to their friendly service, I was able to dine comfortably. The atmosphere felt like a high-end restaurant, and the food was delicious. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you! Ho trovato questo ristorante per caso mentre cercavo un posto dove mangiare, e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile e, grazie al loro servizio cordiale, ho potuto mangiare in totale tranquillità. L’atmosfera era simile a quella di un ristorante di alta classe e anche il cibo era delizioso. Se ne avrò l’occasione, mi piacerebbe sicuramente tornarci. Grazie!

17/12/2025: Today I had lunch at this lovely, clean restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. I returned after a year and the experience was once again pleasant. The broad beans with chicory and the millefeuille are highly recommended.

14/04/2026: An excellent restaurant in Matera's old town. We were seated upstairs in a charming, large vaulted room. Both the appetizers and our main courses were delicious—the only slight drawback was that one of the dishes was far too salty. Superb Italian wine list. Highly recommended.

01/04/2026: My wife and son and I were in the beautiful city of Matera last week, and right below our B&B, we decided, at the recommendation of many locals, to try this excellent restaurant. We started with the traditional peperoni cruschi, then moved on to the excellent orecchiette with mushrooms and sausage and a traditional soup. But the real masterpiece was the dish that gives the restaurant its name: the Pignata. A pan covered in oven-baked bread containing tender and delicious sheep cooked for 18 hours with potatoes and carrots. We finished with a delicious, crunchy and bitter dessert. 01/01/2026: Extremely overrated restaurant. Its fame is due almost exclusively to the spectacular view, because unfortunately the food doesn't live up to its reputation. For a seafood restaurant, the quality leaves much to be desired: less-than-fresh ingredients, dull flavors, and a limited selection that doesn't justify either the expectations or the price. The menu offers very little choice, and the dishes are anonymous, lacking in attention to detail and character. Considering the extremely high prices, it's clear you're only paying for the location and the name of the restaurant, not the gastronomic experience. A real shame, because with such a location, you'd expect a whole different level of quality. Recommended only for those looking for a nice photo, not for those looking for good food.

15/02/2026: Awful pork. Ruined my vacation, could not eat anything for the next couple of days I was in Italy. Also when I left my clothes were so smelly (because of the food smell inside) Awful experience. The pasta was OK but it doesn’t make up.
