17/12/2025: Today I had lunch at this lovely, clean restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. I returned after a year and the experience was once again pleasant. The broad beans with chicory and the millefeuille are highly recommended.

09/02/2026: My wife and I dined at Trattoria Stano, choosing the tasting menu for two, accompanied by a glass of wine. Total €105, a price in line with the quality and the offerings. The restaurant is very chic, well-kept, and elegant, while maintaining the spirit of a historic trattoria. The service is fast, friendly, and always available, without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is strongly rooted in local tradition, with well-executed dishes, quality ingredients, and elegant presentations that enhance each course without distorting their flavors. The portions are appropriate, and the cuisine is straightforward, without unnecessary pretension. Overall, a more than positive experience, ideal for a dinner for two. Recommended for those seeking local cuisine, elegance, and an excellent balance between quality and value.

09/02/2026: My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday evening, we ate very well and if you are in Matera on holiday book because you won't regret it,,, highly recommended.

02/01/2026: A quick but delicious lunch. A simple and welcoming place with a pizza oven and plenty of Matera bread on display. We had the fava bean and chicory cream and the pignatella...exceptional! The lamb was incredibly tender and had a unique flavor with the vegetables and caciocavallo cheese. No. 1. Average prices and quick service with friendly staff.

31/12/2025: The courtesy and quality of the dishes served are the strong points of this place. Try the pignata with mutton, truly excellent.

04/12/2025: We ate here twice in the evenings during our holiday. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. The beer is also very good, with something for everyone, from Kölsch to IPA. The food was particularly impressive, with delicious little dishes. The grilled artichoke with hummus was excellent, crispy on the outside like chips, and juicy on the inside. I'd never had anything like it before.

17/12/2025: First time at this pub, very cute and welcoming, small but really well organized. The menu is extensive and unique. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We ordered a variety of appetizers to start (all kinds of fries, Mexican, pink peppercorn and lime, cacio e pepe, paprika, and chicken sticks), then moved on to pizzas, sandwiches, and plated meats. Everything was truly excellent. The staff were very kind, helpful, and cheerful, which is not unusual. We also had fritters with Nutella and pistachio for everyone, along with beers, wine, and liqueurs. Excellent value for money. I think it's almost rare to find places like this these days. I'll be back.

01/01/2026: Extremely overrated restaurant. Its fame is due almost exclusively to the spectacular view, because unfortunately the food doesn't live up to its reputation. For a seafood restaurant, the quality leaves much to be desired: less-than-fresh ingredients, dull flavors, and a limited selection that doesn't justify either the expectations or the price. The menu offers very little choice, and the dishes are anonymous, lacking in attention to detail and character. Considering the extremely high prices, it's clear you're only paying for the location and the name of the restaurant, not the gastronomic experience. A real shame, because with such a location, you'd expect a whole different level of quality. Recommended only for those looking for a nice photo, not for those looking for good food.
