18/08/2025: Delicious ice cream with a nice spongato. The pistachio flavor is very enjoyable, but the brioche wasn't the best.

13/08/2025: We had breakfast here with granita and brioche: the staff were very kind, and the brioche that accompanied the granita was delicious, but I can't rate this one: I asked for almonds with cream, and they served me a glass of cream with a spoonful of granita (but by the time I got there, it was already almond milk). The bathroom definitely needs updating.

25/07/2025: È da un po’ che volevo fermarmi in questo locale, attirata dalla struttura esterna rustica che trasmette accoglienza. Ci siamo stati oggi per un pranzo veloce di passaggio. Purtroppo sono rimasta molto delusa. Dopo aver letto il menu,in cerca di ispirazione, dove però non ci sono scelte molto allettanti, abbiamo ordinato le ribs di maiale. La carne di per se non mi è sembrata qualitativamente buona, i tempi di attesa sono stati lunghi, e le pietanze erano quasi fredde. Come contorno avevamo chiesto un piatto di pomodori che ci è stato fatto pagare come una caprese (penso perché la cameriera avrebbe fatto troppa fatica a digitare qualcosa di diverso sul palmare). Ovviamente non torneremo. Peccato, un locale così meriterebbe una cucina realmente tipica e di maggior qualità.

11/07/2025: Well, one word. I order a first course, supposedly clams and lemon, but in practice there's no lemon and clams, but they're completely tasteless and cold. They ask me how it's going and I answer truthfully. One of them offers to remake it, but I decline because in these cases they usually correct the same dish, so since at least it was cooked just right, I keep it. Halfway through the dish, I start finding pieces of shell and decide not to eat anymore; after a few minutes, they're wasting their time. I spent 15 minutes or more waiting for someone to come over, because the staff is there, but half are chatting and half are working. Finally, one of the two usual waiters has me order coffee, brings it to me, and afterward I call a girl to pay. She asks me how it went, I explain what happened, and she replies that the "clams are real"—okay, but they taste like nothing. I wasn't complaining about the quality of the products, but about the dish as a whole. In the end, not even a discount or dessert as an apology. I understand that you work given the location, but the prices are in line with places that work better.

04/07/2025: Pasamos a tomar un café y un refrigerio después de visitar el parque arqueológico. No se muestran precios de café, bebidas frías ni pasteles. Pedí un café, una botella pequeña de agua, un mini pastel y un postre de natillas en un recipiente tipo yogur. Cuando fui a pagar, no me entregaron ninguna factura en papel, pero me dijeron que la factura era de 17 euros. Dije que no iba a pagar tanto y que dejaran de intentar estafarme. Redujo la factura a 12 euros, pero aún no hay factura en papel que muestre los precios. Le di 10 euros y le dije que era suficiente. Él aceptó. Lamentable dado el flujo de turistas al lado del parque arqueológico, sienten que tienen que estafar a los turistas... que vergüenza. En una nota positiva, ¡no me cobraron extra por usar el baño!

30/05/2025: Locale ampio, probabilmente da rinnovare nelle sedute.. cibo buono, un po' misere le porzioni in particolare la grigliata mista a cui potevano aggiungere anche un po' più di insalata. Conto da controllare, avevano inserito tre portate in più ed un coperto in piu

25/07/2025: I just visited this cafe and was treated very badly. I bought a pastry from them (tiramisu) which when I got home turned out to be completely frozen! I went straight back to the cafe and explained the situation - they were extremely rude and said they could have warmed the cake for me in the microwave (!?) and refused to give me my money back. It wasn't cheap either, cost 6.5 euros. Extremely unprofessional, never been treated so badly in a cafe in my life. Don't go here!!!

30/08/2025: Wonderful place, with a panoramic view and very professional staff. The gelato recommended by Giovanni was delicious. Congratulations, Giovanni, you're on the right track. Congratulations to the management and all the staff for the aperitif accompanied by a generous plate! Today there was also a musical group that created a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

13/06/2025: This is the kind of restaurant where the locals eat. It appeared the staff knew their diners and treated all guests respectfully. It was recommended to us by numerous locals for its truly great Italian food. We walked in when it opened and it was full within a half of an hour. It's off the beaten path in an alley but well worth it. The food was fantastic and the service was great.

21/06/2025: The only bar open at 2.00 pm in town. Quiet aperitif in Piazza Garibaldi, on a sunny afternoon under large umbrellas. Quiet and friendly management. Waiting times proportionate to the staff present at the time. Good feelings

27/06/2025: First time at Ambrosino and unfortunately also the last. The experience was decidedly disappointing. The baked goods, which should be the strong point, were mediocre: the bread was rubbery, the pizzas greasy and tasteless, and the rotisserie left much to be desired, with flat flavors and ingredients that seemed anything but fresh. The staff seemed hasty and not very courteous, as if the customer was more of a nuisance than a resource. The environment was chaotic, not very well-kept, and with a cleanliness that leaves one perplexed. For those who are truly looking for quality, courtesy and excellent products, I strongly recommend going to Ditta Boccia: there you can really feel the difference. In short: a great disappointment. I do not recommend it at all and I will not return.
