10/03/2025: Di ritorno in questo locale dopo alcuni anni mi accorgo che purtroppo la buona impressione ricevuta la primo volta non viene confermata. Si puo' comprendere che due persone ,da sole, tra cucina e "sala" facciano fatica a gestire 5/6 tavoli ma il servizio è lentissimo...se entri con fame rischi di dover chiedere 3 volte il pane prima che arrivi qualcosa in tavola. Abbiamo mangiato un buonissimo primo piatto di gnocchi con gli scampi e due piatti di frittura di calamari molto elastici ...non mi sarei mai aspettato di vedere che gli stessi provengono da una busta del congelatore. Siamo al mare , il periodo è giusto ...se proprio dovete metterli congelati almeno scongelati a dovere e friggeteli come va fatto invece , purtroppo una delusione.

The typical furnishings and the menu items are still to be appreciated and it is not just because of some "nostalgia operation" but for the fact that sitting on the benches with high backrests, breathing in that atmosphere, still drinking the Hougarten beer and eating an excellent club sandwich in the spicy variety was truly a pleasure and an excellent alternative to the usual formulas: pizza/sushi/kebab. Let's not forget the pubs, let's go back to them, we will feel "shaven" again and we will also appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the managers who have been carrying on their formula for 25 years now.

04/07/2025: This is a place my wife and I went to in 2023 for our honeymoon and have thought about coming back to constantly. I took a picture of our food here, forgot to save the places name, and therefore spent over an hour scouring images of restaurants just to find this place and come back! And I was successful! The service is so friendly, and it truly feels like a place where you only see the locals go, and they know what’s up. They seem to change the menu frequently, but if you get lucky enough to have the octopus as a started, then go buy a lotto ticket. The gnocchi were literally the softest we have ever had in our two trips through Italy. I don’t mean like soft and gummy like- I mean soft like you are cutting into ?pillows? Kind of texture??? The sauces are perfectly seasoned, and the portion for the prices seem really fair for the quality and freshness of the ingredients
