The food was tasty and the portions were generous, and the service was excellent. It was beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious. Even though I asked for it to be lactose-free, no one noticed. Compliments to the pastry chef.

12/10/2025: A charming and welcoming little place, it has a small, pleasant veranda from which you can admire the façade and bell tower of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Quercia. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Even though it was almost midnight, the girls were very kind and smiling, which is hard to find these days. 14/09/2025: We met Alessandro on our way back from a hike up Monte Grosso. We entered his restaurant and he welcomed us with a glass of wine. We immediately connected with a French couple and another gentleman whose name I don't remember. He shared anecdotes with us as a native Elban, with a profound knowledge of the area, resulting in an unforgettable snack. We immediately booked dinner that evening. We had a delicious meal, excellent service, and a wonderful view. Thanks to Alessandro and all his staff.

Everything from the magnificent view, beautiful balcony and inside area, elaborate dishes and friendly and thoughtful service was perfect. Speaking about the dishes, I strongly recommend the starter with fish carpaccio - it will really surprise you with little tasty secrets, we also tasted the pasta and here the queen is it place’s unique recipe gnocchi con cappesante. I have tasted many very special dishes in Italy but this one is over the moon. I’m just planning to come back here again and bring my friends. Please don’t miss this great chance to feel in paradise.
