24/12/2024: I was in October, a truly magnificent place, which makes you look good. On the sixth floor of the hotel, a glass rooftop with space outside, a terrace that surrounds the entire room. The price is very high but I think it's worth it at least once for anyone. Very friendly and helpful staff, just as you would expect from a place of a certain level. The cost of a drink is around €28

18/12/2024: L'endroit parfait et tranquille pour un aprem ou une soirée au calme avec un vue panoramique incroyable sur la ville de Florence du fleuve l'Arno au Duomo. un coin vraiment chic et raffiné 25.- deux cocktails et un petit apéro offert. Parfait pour un moments coupé du temps pour admiré le berceaux de la renaissance

23/12/2024: Soggiornato presso Hotel durante periodo di Natale. Ristorante moderno, elegante e proposte molto accattivanti come menu. Carni alla griglia fantastiche , con sapore tradizionale toscano. Pane nero e schiacciata da oscar. Consiglio vivamente ( bambina sempre servita per prima , aspetto da non sottovalutare )

While it was slightly more expensive than some of the other restaurants we dined at during our week in Florence, the food and the professional, attentive service was well worth it.

13/01/2025: Meal of my life at Il Barretto twice during our trip to Florence. If I had one night left on earth, I would want to eat here. There should be a 3 month wait to get in, it is that good. This is a family owned, and operated restaurant. The dining room is a beautiful, and intimate setting for the incredible food they serve here. Our server was so lovely, and made us feel incredibly welcome. He knew everything about the menu, inside and out. He had excellent wine recommendations, and gave fantastic tips when selecting from the menu. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Pasta, meat, salad, everything. Even the simplest of dishes, such as the Tuscan White Beans, were out of this world delicious. On our second visit, I ordered my own portion and wouldn’t share, that is how good they were. I look forward to coming back to Il Barretto. They treated us like family, it was an authentic dining experience, which is so rare these days. It truly was our top meal, and a very big highlight for our time in Florence.

Intimate and familiar atmosphere, delicious Ethiopian food, an unexpected assortment of alcohol even just for an after-dinner drink, all at absolutely accessible prices.

29/12/2024: In ambiente raffinato una cucina studiata, non lasciata al caso in cui le materie prime di altissima qualità sono dosate con mano sapiente. Anche il personale di sala, mai invadente, è pronto ad accontentarti. Un plauso particolare al maitre che con simpatia e preparazione aiuta i clienti nella scelta del menù. Bravi continuate così

01/01/2025: Today for the first day of the year we went to eat at this restaurant. They told me good things about it so we tried it too. The restaurant is in a street with few parking spaces but there is a car park a few hundred meters away. Inside the place is simple but clean; but the real strong point is the service that makes you immediately feel at home and the menu with abundant and delicious dishes. Today we had the sliced ​​rump, the peposo, the mixed 4, baked potato, spinach and a salad. To finish we had a tiramisu and cheesecake. As for the price I would say excellent, we will definitely return

Marcus especialmente hizo un buen trabajo vendiéndonos las virtudes de un 'restaurante' a diferencia de una 'trattoria'. Aprecié especialmente el excelente Chianti Classico por copa y la capacidad de completar mi comida con solo medio vaso.

10/09/2024: There were four of us. Everyone took these dishes and desserts, only half a liter of house wine in a jug for four, two liters of mineral water, three glasses of vino santo. €40! It seems like an exaggerated price to me, given the small portions. Good quality. Luckily there was good fresh bread which I ate with a little oil.....

30/09/2024: Tornando da un trekking facile al parco fluviale,abbiamo voluto visitare anche il borgo antico. La location parte da un enoteca/osteria interna che si apre però su una bellissima terrazza panoramica,molto suggestiva. La cucina propone piatti con materie prime di qualità ,dalla tradizione antica fiorentina ,come il cibreo,(che era la zuppetta preferita di Caterina de Medici),(buono anche il tonno del Chianti) , alla faraona,cucinata veramente molto bene,con un pizzico di contaminazione internazionale. Il personale è accogliente,sorridente,preparato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

23/09/2024: Ein rundum schöner Abend. Das Personal schafft eine wirklich tolle entspannte Atmosphäre und alles was aus der Küche kam, war einfach perfekt. Pasta ein Gedicht! Hauptspeisen alles auf den Punkt! Dessert: Tiramisu einfach unschlagbar!!! Wir werden diese Woche auf jeden Fall noch einmal dort einkehren....
