16/01/2026: Great dining experience across the board! The atmosphere is remarkable -- elegant but effortlessly comfortable. We split a Burrata as a starter, and it was deeply flavorful. For mains we had a Black Truffle Taglitelli and Ossobucco with a side of their potatoes. Every bite was a treat. We enjoyed a really nice Tuscan blend red wine that the waiter recommended (wish we had noted the name), and it paired very well with both our mains. We were far too full to order a dessert, but it was tempting. We had some terrific dining experiences in Firenza, and this is at the top of our list. Ben fatto!!
16/01/2026: How can any restaurant stand out in the wealth of wonderful dining venues in Florence? Well, Il Barretto can. The restaurant is charming, and the host and staff are wonderful, but then you are served such absolutely delicious food, and you say, "I think that we made a good choice here." It is as though every meal is prepared by someone's mother. Just stunning. Also, the wine paired so well. I cannot speak highly enough of the atmosphere, the service, and the exceptional food. The location of the restaurant is perfect for a pre-cocktail at Uggi or other venues. If I were you, I would go out of my way to dine at Il Barretto.

08/03/2026: On our way back from Florence, we stopped for lunch at this delightful trattoria. We enjoyed typical dishes with a true Tuscan flavor, from crostini to pici pasta, and an excellent Chianina stew. All accompanied by an exquisite house wine, of which we purchased two bottles to take home. The owner's friendliness and kindness were an added bonus. Highly recommended, especially for its proximity to the highway toll booth.
31/12/2025: Nice place. Easy to get to. Exit the highway at Bettolle. Excellent Tuscan cuisine. The chickpea and spinach soup was creamy and amazing. Pici all'aglione (arugula with garlic), excellent chicken liver crostini, Chianina stew, and a Chimina burger, truly excellent. Water, wine, and dessert.
€33 per person. Friendly and approachable owner.
We'll definitely be back if we pass through.

If anyone want to taste real Srilankan Cuisine this is the place. The customer service was excellent and Humble. The atmosphere was calm and homely and very hygienic. 25/02/2026: My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years now. The place is cozy and the food is delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, both the guy who takes orders and the guy I think is the owner. It's perfect for an aperitif that then turns into dinner, especially since we love it so much we spend hours there and never get up from our chairs. I want to compliment everyone. I highly recommend it, especially because the dishes are delicious and the prices are excellent.
22/02/2026: A good alternative to the usual fare. I love ethnic cuisine.
Perhaps more generous portions would be appreciated, but that's the only flaw.
