21/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a quiet side street right in the center. The hostess herself recommended the truffle pasta to me, and it was by far the best truffle pasta I’ve ever had – and I’ve already tried a lot, haha. Simply heavenly! Also totally recommendable: the starter and the dessert. In my case, the Parmigiana di Melanzane and the panna cotta – both were a dream! Just typically Italian, without any unnecessary frills. The staff and the atmosphere are also very inviting! I would recommend it to everyone and would come back immediately – truly a must in Florence!

Accessibility is decent, though the layout may be tight for wheelchairs or strollers—worth checking ahead if needed.

23/09/2025: My review is late, but I cannot speak to the service and quality of the food enough. The whole staff was wonderful and the food was the best quality. My husband took me here for my birthday and the sommelier went above and beyond. He paired each course with the utmost attention to what we were having made the experience a true experience. Highly recommend if you are in Florence!

20/09/2025: Can't say enough about this place. We met the owners through another business transaction. They helped us with reservations and the ambience, attention to detail was top notch! From apps to main course, nothing could have made our last night in Firenze better. Gracie mille. Ask for Ciro, he's the best.

23/08/2025: We've dined at this restaurant a couple of times already. The food is very good, the location is beautiful, especially in the evening. The service is attentive. If you have any allergies, let them know in advance and you won't have any problems. Both the seafood and meat dishes are excellent.

20/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance. We were drawn to the fact that it was located on the roof. We didn't regret it. The staff was very friendly, especially Lyudmila. The food was top-notch. The view was incredible; we'll definitely be back.

31/08/2025: Prices are high and the service was extremely poor and a little disrespectful, I ordered a very simple food and they forgot about me completely and didn’t even apologize for the wait. The view and live music was absolutely gorgeous and the food tasted nice, but the portions are exceptionally small.

29/07/2025: Spectacular! I've never stayed at the hotel, but I've eaten at the restaurant several times. The dishes are simple and truly delicious, not to mention the apple, walnut, and raisin tart, which is a must-try. Special mention goes to the chicken liver crostini and the truffle gnocchi. The owners are incredibly kind.

24/08/2025: We went to dinner at this pizzeria, drawn by the varied menu and wide selection. We were immediately greeted by very kind and friendly staff, and the service was also fast and impeccable. We ordered pizza, tempted by the beautiful wood-fired oven inside. As for the ingredients, they seemed to be of excellent quality, including the very fresh cooked ham, but the tomato sauce on the pizza tasted more like preserves. It was a shame, however, that the dough was rather rubbery. The Margherita was chewy and lacking in flavor, while the Quattro Formaggi was much better, more flavorful but still with a fairly heavy dough. The specialty pizzas, with more toppings that make up for the blandness, are definitely much better. The atmosphere is simple but spacious, and can accommodate large tables. It's quite quiet, easy to reach, and a short walk from the center of Castelnuovo.

12/07/2025: I had dinner with former co-workers last night. The steak was slab-style. The meat and bone were equally tough. The rump steak was good, but not the specialty the owner presents. Like everything else, it was presented as a specialty, but in reality, all the food was mediocre. The place was deserted on a Friday for dinner, probably just us, there's a reason... Then the bill was grossly overpriced, especially considering how poorly we ate, and I had some doubts about its fairness... Never mind. A negative experience that won't be repeated!!

09/09/2025: A true gem in the suburbs of Florence. Beautiful decor and the food was delicious. A mix of Lankan food and Italian. I asked for authentic Lankan taste and they made it so. The waitress was also very lovely. It was a great evening overall. I will be back if I return to Florence.

18/04/2025: Luogo intimo e pulito, curato nel dettaglio anche se da fuori non si direbbe. Abbiamo chiesto delle opzioni vegane che sono state subito accolte con ricette originali srilankesi molto buone, ben presentate, e moderatamente speziate. I titolari super carini e accoglienti, all'ingresso ci siamo messe a ballare al suono della musica (era il mio compleanno ed erevamo le uniche clienti in sala). Al dolce (buonissimo e sempre cingalese) ci hanno spento le luci e aiutato con le candele. Scelta bevande da rivedere (sopratutto la lista dei vini) sia nell'offerta che nel prezzo. Consigliato per occasioni speciali!

08/09/2025: Absolutely perfect restaurant for anyone looking for an Italian muslim friendly place. We had halal italian food halal drinks, everything was perfect. They even have accomodaitons for offering your salah downstairs. The waiters were excellent, super friendly and attentive. They even gave us a free coffee after we had already paid. May Allah reward them. Whether you are muslim or non-muslim, you will love this restaurant. I wish this place would become more popular. If you are Muslim visiting Florence, make sure to eat here! May Allah bless this place and its staff! Salam!

07/09/2025: Naan looked like my shoe sole just way thicker than my shoe sole. That's not how the naan should look or taste like. Curry was watery. Unfortunately, overpriced for the quality they serve.
