24/07/2026: The museum's permanent collection is extremely interesting. It explores the city's global connections with Europe over the centuries, but it is also a testament to the brutalities of the "West" that have always been perpetrated throughout the world. The texts are small narrative masterpieces, and the exhibition explores some of the connections between the present world and the past, from a sociocultural, identity, and linguistic perspective. I recommend a visit, which is free, for a much-needed understanding.

23/07/2026: Truly a fantastic place! Top-notch food, tasty dishes and generous portions, spectacular decor and full of unique details. The beers on tap are exceptional and complement everything perfectly. The atmosphere is original, welcoming, and wonderful. Highly recommended!

18/07/2026: What a place, guys. Wonderful, they have everything except pizza (and thank goodness for that). Amazing burgers with Ban, pasta dishes with truffle and porcini mushrooms, ditto cuts, cold cuts, desserts, 7 taps of beer. Both the owners and employees are extremely welcoming (obviously, it's Romagna). The location is stunning (at least for my tastes).

15/06/2026: We stop here every time we're in Desenzano. For us, it's one of the best restaurants! Authentic regional cuisine with excellent wines and friendly service! The ambiance in this little alley is fantastic.

09/06/2026: I discovered this place on vacation last week and haven't left! Delicious lake fish, delicious pizza, equally delicious desserts, and excellent value! Located on a side street in the center of Desenzano, it has a truly charming atmosphere! The staff are top-notch...they make you feel at home! This will be a regular stop for me, as I often visit Lake Garda!

29/07/2026: We came as a family to celebrate an anniversary, and I must say it was a truly excellent experience. The food was delicious and anything but ordinary. The chef creates truly delicious dishes with unique pairings. Even if an ingredient might seem off-putting at first glance, it's actually what completes the dish and makes it unique, like his gnocchi with lamb ragù and candied fruit. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food, as I find it a wonderful discovery. We were delighted not only by the food during our evening, but also by the company of the owner, who was particularly attentive to our needs and guided us in pairing the right wines with our chosen dishes. Truly a 10/10 experience.

03/08/2026: I was looking for a little place where I could be immersed in nature, mingling with some animals, and also eat well... and I found it!! This restaurant is fantastic. It's inside a riding stable, so there are lots of horses as well as other animals, like turkeys, doves, pigs, and goats! I was pleasantly surprised because it's also wonderful for children, who can roam freely and discover so many wonderful things! The food is out of this world! We went for lunch and had a wonderful meal! Top-quality ingredients and generous quantities, plus the plating was truly exquisite! The waitresses are incredibly kind and courteous! I absolutely recommend this place to everyone!! It's truly a little gem in Ispra! We'll definitely be back!

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. 24/04/2026: The pizza is okay, but forget about the rest. Avoid the salmon and tuna tartare, which I wouldn't even give to my cat. The ingredients may be premium, but if you don't know how to make the most of them, they're worth very little. The rude and unprofessional head waiter decided to charge for them anyway, even though we'd barely tasted them. Change management, because this place really deserves it.
