08/10/2025: World-class ambiance, delicious food, and absolute warmth! We stayed at the Stella several times during our vacation; it was simply fantastic! It couldn't be better, everything was simply delicious and worth every penny... Thank you, a thousand, and we'll see you next year!

06/10/2025: I'm probably not being objective in this case. My last visit here was in 1987. That was the last year before my parents moved the motorboat to what was then Yugoslavia. And two weeks ago, as part of my "Back to Youth" tour, I was able to visit this place again. To cut a long story short: everything surpassed my memories: a fantastic sea bass in a salt crust, preceded by a carpaccio, and finished with a sorbet. Not to mention the delicious house wine. It was a true experience.

27/09/2025: You should never judge a place by appearances; even if it's "old," it's spotless. You're pampered like you're at home. The food is plentiful and tasty.
15/09/2025: Such friendly staff - patient in helping us pick something that will appeal to each person. The staff protected us from ordering items too spicey and taught me how to use the injera bread 😂

10/10/2025: Small pizzeria at the foot of the Zoncolan.
Delicious pizza, and especially the tiramisu, deserves a mention. Definitely try it!
The Friuli Bianco wine is also highly recommended.
Service was very friendly and attentive despite the language barrier.
We really enjoyed it and would love to come back next time we're in Friuli.

22/07/2025: Attracted by an event organized as "Paella and Sangria" we participated in four; the food was satisfactory but at the time of paying the surprise: the advertised price of 20 euros per person, sangria included, had become 25 euros, that is 25% more. A protest email with a request for compensation for the amount unduly paid had no response, neither reimbursement nor any form of justification.
I would say two visits in one, the first and the last.

09/03/2025: Dover aggiungere 6 euro per le mie intolleranze alimentare (3 per glutine e 3 per lattosio) mi ha lasciato senza parole... non è possibile arrivare a pagare una pizza 18 euro..
19/02/2025: Location carina ma prezzi troppo alti. Pizze secche e non a livello. Purtroppo non consiglio. Aggiungo, nuovamente purtroppo, lo sgradevole puzzo di un paio di camerieri, probabilmente pakistani. Nulla contro ma...un po' di sapone e un normale deodorante avrebbero sicuramente evitato il tutto.

01/06/2025: Locale carino e godibile vicino alla piazza principale della città di Udine. Molto buoni gli aperitivi così come il cibo che si può ordine da abbinare. Peccato per le cameriere un po’ svogliate altrimenti avrei dato 5/5.

13/04/2025: Eravamo alcuni amici e cercavamo un posto carino per sederci in centro a Udine, a metà mattina. Premetto che non conoscevamo la città e abbiamo scelto l'Elite per caso. Il servizio non è stato velocissimo, causa affollamento del sabato e data la bella giornata, ma per il resto tutto bene. Gentilezza dello staff, precisione nel prendere l'ordinazione, prodotti ben serviti, buono il caffè e carine le tazzine, buono lo spritz veneziano.

20/07/2024: Nel sito, ed anche da alcune recensioni qui, era presentato come locale che proponeva piatti tipici friulani: nulla di tutto ciò ci è stato proposto, piatti da "mensa aziendale", vino rosso servito freddo di frigo, fettina di vitello spacciata per bistecca.
