Spaghetti al top dell'insapore e incertezza sul sugo: uno scampo millimetrico, tre quattro cozze e il resto lasciamo Perdere. Cosa di rospo stoposetta e senza sapore nonostante le verdure. Si può dimenticare in fretta.

05/03/2025: È sempre un piacere ritornare in questo ristorante inserito in un’oasi di pace. Ambiente raffinato , elegante e accogliente. La sala da pranzo è arredata con gusto e a tavola non mancano dettagli che fanno la differenza. Grande ospitalità, servizio curato , piatti gustosi e sapientemente preparati . Ottimi i vini della loro cantina. Nadia una perfetta padrona di casa.

Very, very friendly and helpful owner, who turns out to be also the chef of the restaurant, where we had a set meal and came out full and very happy. Brava Eleonora! 19/04/2025: Based on the positive reviews we went to this place for dinner. The tavern is very nice, informal but welcoming. The service is quite slow, thank goodness we weren't in a rush. The. Menu is varied and offers a wide choice of dishes. The dishes served are minimal and the portions are really small, which is a shame because they are well prepared and very good. Surely by improving a few small details this place could become a great reference Osteria in Monfalcone. Prices are average.

23/01/2025: Local a few steps from the main square. Very simple and essential place. The menu is very extensive, offering typical dishes of Friulian cuisine, meat main courses but also some fish dishes. They also have vegan options: both single dishes and pizza with plant-based “mozzarella” (taken from our friends). We tried the pumpkin gnocchi with smoked ricotta, butter and sage and they didn't taste like pumpkin and were in a butter broth. And finally a coffee. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back.

01/04/2025: Abbiamo prenotato alle 21.00: a causa del doppio turno nell’attesa del tavolo si crea un caotico affollamento nel corridoio d’ingresso che ho trovato piuttosto fastidioso. La sistemazione al tavolo di fronte al bancone era decisamente sacrificata: tutta la gente che nel caos ti si ammassa contro + la vicinanza tra gli stessi tavoli crea un’atmosfera non affatto comoda. Dalla confusione, io e la mia amica durante la cena dovevamo parlarci ad alta voce. Il servizio è frettoloso e sbadato, poca attenzione nel portare a termine l’esperienza col cliente. Ho mangiato una pizza buona nell’impasto: dai prezzi e da come era presentata sul menù mi aspettavo decisamente di più dal condimento (+ acqua 0,75 a 3Euro). Tutto un po’ too much: il locale è particolare, ma non compensa il resto.

11/03/2025: Servizio scadente...cameriere frettoloso e sbadato....piante ornamentali finte che vengono giù dal soffitto ad altezza uomo tanto da finirci contro con la testa mentre si cammina...spaghetto con le vongole con parecchia sabbia....direi ampiamente bocciato

04/01/2025: Recommended to us by the host where we are staying these days, tonight we had dinner in this place, the Villa Nachini Gabassi Restaurant, also known as Osteria Barchessa. The cuisine is typical Friulian, where tradition is combined with a pinch of innovation and a great variety of wine labels. As an appetizer they offered us salami in vinegar with onion and a purple cabbage pie, we then continued with a portion of pork cheeks braised in Refosco accompanied by mashed potatoes and a portion of sem fillet, a dish prepared with three thin fillets of sorana , rolled up to form a swirl and then plated in a pan at medium cooking. We concluded with a dessert, Rigojanci, a chocolate cake typical of Trieste cuisine and of Hungarian origin, prepared with quality chocolate and in this case, with a rice-based sponge cake, light and sugar-free. I, a chocolate lover, really appreciated it, it was a great discovery. Trained and courteous staff, almost all female, from the cook to the dining room staff. Elegant location, honest prices.
