07/04/2024: Florian Like many others, we wanted to try the legendary Florian café. Historic setting, very good coffee and chocolate. On the other hand, the chocolate pastry is really not up to the price or the standard. A lot of work needs to be done. But the most surprising thing was at the time of payment. Our credit card was not used twice. So we had to pay in cash. Information taken from our bank, we were told that the payment request had been canceled twice by the café!!! Presumably the Florian café, like several merchants in Venice, do everything to obtain cash payments and thus avoid declaring the turnover. Let us reassure you, this does not mean that we are offering you VAT. it is simply scandalous for an establishment of this standing. For this I find that we must move on and the Italian state should be a little more vigilant about these practices...

07/04/2024: I've known this place for years. Last night we ordered a rosemary steak and a burger 🍔. The cut arrived quite quickly while the burger 24 minutes later. Moral of the story: I watched my girlfriend eat alone after begging to do so. And she watched me eat the burger alone. Not the best experience I must say. Maybe if we had gotten pizza it would have been better. It's really a shame. Meat quality: mediocre.

06/04/2024: As always one of the best places in the area. The only flaw is that the service is a little slow when there are a lot of people but it's understandable.

25/03/2024: Notice to all waiters in Italy since the season is about to begin: Unfortunately I worked at the Anguilla restaurant for a month. The restaurant manager tried to attack me (which is why I reported him) and threatened and insulted me on several occasions. Workplace to avoid because: 1-There is no PDA. You have to take the order by hand and rewrite it in the kitchen waiting your turn. 2-Bad hours. We work from 10.30am to around 4pm then from 6pm until sometimes 2am during the summer as I was told. 3-The food for the staff is from a refugee camp. Pasta with tomato or ragù at midday omelette in the evening except on Saturday you eat pizza, while on Sunday evening you don't eat at all. 4-Unprepared dining room staff. There is only one very good waiter to whom I offer my sincere compliments. 5-Tight spaces. To bone a fish you have to open a table and fit a large vase and two plates in a small space. 6-Offensive and quarrelsome leadership. I have witnessed FURIOUS ARGUMENTS complete with threats to call the police between the owner and the restaurant manager, and I was once prevented from serving alcohol to the same restaurant manager due to excessive consumption. Finally, I would like to add that I have won the UNION LAWSUIT against the restaurant for unfair dismissal and I am awaiting criminal trial for assault by the manager against me.

19/12/2023: Ristorante che non si smentisce mai. Rivisitato a Settembre…Beh che dire…sodisfatti ancora una volta…Servizio impeccabile accompagnato da materie prime di qualità. Per noi rimane tappa fissa per ogni nostro soggiorno a Caorle! Complimenti👏👏
