14/05/2024: For me, Café Florian is the best café here on St. Mark's Square.
It's already written on the invoice: Nel salotto piú bello del Mondo (In the most beautiful living room in the world)
Yes, it's more expensive than some people think, but if you sit outside and enjoy this great atmosphere around you, it's worth it. You can sit inside and then don't pay for the band per person. It is also cheaper to drink your espresso or cappuccino standing up at the bar.
I always enjoy coming there and sitting outside and taking in everything that's going on around me.
I'm on vacation and I can save money at home.
If that's too expensive for you, you should go a few streets further and have a café in a small piazza!!!!!!!!!

25/03/2024: Notice to all waiters in Italy since the season is about to begin:
Unfortunately I worked at the Anguilla restaurant for a month. The restaurant manager tried to attack me (which is why I reported him) and threatened and insulted me on several occasions.
Workplace to avoid because:
1-There is no PDA. You have to take the order by hand and rewrite it in the kitchen waiting your turn.
2-Bad hours. We work from 10.30am to around 4pm then from 6pm until sometimes 2am during the summer as I was told.
3-The food for the staff is from a refugee camp. Pasta with tomato or ragù at midday omelette in the evening except on Saturday you eat pizza, while on Sunday evening you don't eat at all.
4-Unprepared dining room staff. There is only one very good waiter to whom I offer my sincere compliments.
5-Tight spaces. To bone a fish you have to open a table and fit a large vase and two plates in a small space.
6-Offensive and quarrelsome leadership. I have witnessed FURIOUS ARGUMENTS complete with threats to call the police between the owner and the restaurant manager, and I was once prevented from serving alcohol to the same restaurant manager due to excessive consumption.
Finally, I would like to add that I have won the UNION LAWSUIT against the restaurant for unfair dismissal and I am awaiting criminal trial for assault by the manager against me.
19/12/2023: Ristorante che non si smentisce mai. Rivisitato a Settembre…Beh che dire…sodisfatti ancora una volta…Servizio impeccabile accompagnato da materie prime di qualità. Per noi rimane tappa fissa per ogni nostro soggiorno a Caorle! Complimenti👏👏

The burger only contains a semblance of steak.
The service also leaves something to be desired, although the staff is very friendly, the dishes are not all served at the same time and the waiting times are rather long.

27/04/2024: Het eten is echt geweldig en de bediening ontzettend vriendelijk en warm. Met mijn nicht heb ik een antipasti, primi, secondi en toetje gedeeld. Dat was meer dan genoeg. Het eten was prachtig opgediend en ontzettend smakelijk!

05/05/2024: Tasty and well presented food, friendly and hospitable staff, lavish wine selection.
It takes about one and a half up to two hours for a 6 course meal.
The staff made us feel at home and had great ice breaker jokes. Really enjoyed the Barone Pizzini Franciacorta Golf 1927 wine they recommended.
28/04/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante l’ultima sera del nostro breve soggiorno a Venezia, ed è stata tutto sommato un’esperienza positiva: location forse un poco asettica, non c’era molta privacy tra un tavolo e l’altro, una saletta di passaggio, forse le sale adiacenti erano più curate …. Per quanto riguarda il cibo mi ha impressionato positivamente l’entree di benvenuto dello chef, veramente notevole, poi le portate successive non da wow le mie, a differenza di quelle ordinate da mio marito, che si è detto molto soddisfatto ( io avevo preso l’uovo fritto con fonduta e tartufo e il branzino con crosta alle mandorle e paprika , dove la spezia copriva totalmente il sapore del pesce e la crosta di mandorle forse è stata dimenticata , non c’era )…
Il dolce ottimo, per i dolcetti finali non avevo più spazio ! Nel complesso positivo, ma x l’eccellenza c’è da lavorarci

Poor service.
Quality of dishes meh. Bistro attracts tourists at 150-200€/head.
Average dishes without originality with poor cooking.
No one asks me what I want even though I’ve been sitting at the table for 10 minutes. I insist, someone comes to see me. I finally get a drink for an aperitif. When the glass is finished, no one asks me if I want another one. Nothing to accompany the aperitif and snack. I drink mineral water by myself. I feel like I don't exist.
I am not presented with the wine list when choosing the menu, so I ask for glasses throughout the meal, but I would have actually liked a bottle. Average wines by the glass, not worth the price.
With each request, with each dish, a different waiter who mixes up the order and has no idea what we have had so far. In short, confusion and mediocrity of inconsistent service, we feel anonymous.
Passable entry if not original. We are a little forgotten for the main course. After insisting after 20', return to the kitchen, overcooked veal. Almost no vegetables. Tasteless truffle. Chic without flavors.
Old, shabby toilets.
It smells like a palace that doesn't invest and lives on its laurels for Americans and Asians who aren't too careful.
The view makes you (a little) forget the rest.
11/05/2024: Overpriced, small portions, 160 euro Chateau Briand was like eating shoe leather.
(They did Comp. Coffee & desert, thanks to the chef). The 1 waiter we had was nice.
Presentation of food was very nice.
Hostesses were "ok" nothing like the kinder Gio restaurant workers.
1 guy (waiter? Mustache) seated & gave the menu to an asian/Hawaiian looking couple & he was clearly very rude to them, they left before being served. May 8, 2024, 2-3 p.m. mid-terrace area. Waiter bent over backwards catering to 1 other single male receiving complimentary drink from some large glass container using large dropper thing to retrieve alcohol from glass container into his glass & another couple with 2 kids that he clearly "knew" both the family & the single male were seated near the rail with the best views unlike us 2 white tourists & the Hawaiian couple....BUT our seating was ok.
I understand rich patrons, friends/family etc deserve some preference.
One visit to Danieli in 3 trips to Italy over 42 years was "enough".
Nice view but try Gio's hospitality AND view.
Terrace View was great (tables near terrace edge were, apparently for "special" people).
If on your list visiting make reservations & I recommend paying the 12 euro cover, having coffee/dessert enjoy the View & check it off your list but you will be better served booking dinner @ Gio's in my opinion.

02/04/2024: The staff was very rude, except for one waitress. The food was floating in oil. And when we paid, the boss asked if everything was okay. When we told her what was wrong, she just turned around and made drinks and ignored us.
So we definitely can NOT recommend this restaurant.

06/05/2024: We were in Caorle for our child's birthday, and to see the Frecce tricore. We went to this pizzeria for both lunch and dinner. We want to thank the staff because we had a wonderful time, ate very well and they made our 5 year old's birthday UNFORGETTABLE. A thousand thanks.

11/05/2024: Excellent restaurant mainly serving fish and some meat dishes in the historic center of Noale. I know you can find parking nearby by looking carefully, because the square in front is full of little bars and the parking spaces are languishing. The rear garden is a real gem to try at all costs. Excellent wine list and good choice of dishes. All of excellent quality but without excelling. Modest quantities of food on the plate, but well presented. Bread not great. Modest desserts (apart from the sorbets). Dogs feel they cannot enter. A few steps down for entrance. Price €60 each with a large bottle of wine, I would say almost cheap. Ideal place for couples and families looking for good fish in an impactful location.
11/05/2024: Just enough food, overpriced. We had had lunch a few times in the past, and we were happy to return, I really think it will be the last.

05/12/2023: Dear guests, unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately the sea platter wasn't good and the platter mainly consisted of unfinished noodles. The service was nice, but the ambience was not good. There were far too many people in a small space and it was extremely stuffy. Unfortunately not recommended.

Le pain est maison avec plusieurs propositions
Les plats sont très bon mais ne sont pas très consistants
08/04/2024: C'est un bon restaurant semi-gastro. Nous avons bien mangé : les recettes sont travaillées et c'est bon (nous avions pris la pintade et l'orphie). Le service est agréable et plutôt rapide. Nous avons apprécié aussi le cadre intimiste du restaurant.
Pour se mettre en appétit, nous avons eu des amuses bouches, et pains faits maison, avant le plat consistant.
C'est toutefois assez cher, sans grosse quantité, mais c'est le propre de ce genre de restaurant.
