05/04/2024: We took a recommendation from Lonely Planet and were not disappointed. The waiter was attentive and recommended the crab linguini which was incredible (see photo). My wife had gorgeous tuna dish, and we washed it down with a delicious bottle of inexpensive Pinot Grigio, also recommended to us. We also had dessert and were offered limoncello on our way out and could not believe the bill when it came, it was surely too low. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, and we’ll certainly be going back!

05/04/2024: "The old man and the sea" is a very famous place for pizza and fish dishes. We had dinner with some friends and we had fried fish for a starter which was good and crunchy. I had a pizza which was very good and some friends had the seafood carbonara with salmon, tuna and pistachios. All dishes were good but I preferred the fried ones. The place is very nice, but it's a shame that it was very noisy.

06/04/2024: We had Espresso martini with gin & Espresso martini with votka with patatoes as side dish.. as an after dinner snack. It is in the beautiful Piazza, with good service, tho a little overpriced due to location I guess.

26/03/2024: We were looking for a late afternoon glass of wine and stopped into Irene. It is connected to the Hotel Savoy and is a very upscale spot on the piazza with great service, but the prices (because it is connected to the Savoy!) seem much higher than other good options for a drink in the area.

02/04/2024: It's really, really delicious!!! It was the most delicious food in all of Italy. I highly recommend the T-bone steak and the wine in the picture! The T-bone steak is enough for two women, but I added a side of soup and I think I can eat it all if I eat it slowly and for a long time with wine! The staff were all friendly, especially the owner, who was very kind, humorous, and liked Koreans, so I had a very pleasant meal. Next time I visit Florence, I think I'll definitely come here :))) So really lovely place :)) )

17/12/2023: Very nice place but the flavors need improvement

11/02/2024: Dopo aver aspettato 20’ per avere i ns aperitivi abbiamo notato che la cameriera era stata colpita nel volto da una cacca di piccione mentre ci stava portando le patatine. Dopo circa 10’ ci sono arrivate le patatine ed abbiamo incominciato a mangiarle. Ho preso la patatina e fortunatamente prima di portarla alla bocca mi sono resa conto di avere le dita sporche di cacca. Abbiamo chiamato il cameriere per fargli notare l’accaduto e lui ci ha risposto che “sono cosa che possono succedere “. L’unica gesto che hanno saputo fare è stato quello di dimezzare il conto, non rendendosi conto della gravità di ciò che era accaduto anche dopo l’intervento del titolare. Sicuramente sono incidenti che possono accadere ma ciò che ci ha lasciato perplessi è la poca professionalità riscontrata.
