16/08/2025: We visited this restaurant for my birthday. The view of the river is very romantic. The service was attentive and very professional. The dishes and appetizers were delicious and refined. We chose the tasting menu for the whole table. The presentation of the dishes was a real feast for the eyes. We had a wonderful time there. A big thank you to the restaurant team, very attentive and efficient.

14/08/2025: Our experience at Borgo San Jacopo was absolutely positive. We're now quite seasoned when it comes to Michelin-starred restaurants, and what struck us most was the service: perfectly in keeping with the elegance of the restaurant, yet friendly and never stuffy. This made the evening much more enjoyable and enjoyable. The restaurant is located in the heart of Florence, right next to Ponte Vecchio, and offers a panoramic view of the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio itself. We tried to book a panoramic table, but it was already booked; however, as soon as one of the two outdoor tables became available, the staff seated us for the last part of the dinner, so we could enjoy the splendid view. A much-appreciated gesture. The food is excellent. We were truly won over by some dishes, particularly the Fassona beef tartare, the turbot (one of the chef's signature dishes), and the lamb, a new and highly successful addition to the menu. We chose the Experience Menu, which features the most iconic creations. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Chef, who was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in customer feedback. We've seen this in other restaurants of this type, but not with this warmth and attention, and we really appreciated it.

07/08/2025: My wife and I found this place on our first full day in Florence. We instantly fell in love with the space and especially the owner Lorenzo! This is truly a hidden gem! The food and drinks are fantastic and really affordable! We pretty much stopped in every day we were in town! We can’t wait to visit again!

03/08/2025: Searching a reasonably priced lasagna option near pont vecchio, we thankfully ended up here, and enjoyed our evening thoroughly. It's a small place, on the bank of Arno, offering a nice view of the ponte vecchio. The service was good; the people who served us were happy and highly entertaining, and the lasagna of course was awesome. The other side dishes we ordered were equally good. No less than a 5 ⭐ from me.

26/08/2025: A restaurant in a beautiful location, well-maintained, welcoming, with wonderful, smiling, customer-focused staff. The food is simple but good, and the service is fast. I'll return again and again. The only thing is, the fried food was overcooked in batter, but that's nothing compared to all the good things!

24/08/2025: A typical Tuscan restaurant. The service was friendly, quick, and uncomplicated. The view of the valley in front of Casale Maritimo was stunning. We had pasta dishes that really impressed us. The tagliata was also perfect. Reservations are recommended (by email or phone).

18/08/2025: Excellent service, staff welcomed us with free appetizer and offer good suggestions for seafood lovers and for vegetarians. The food is INCREDIBLE, one of the best restaurants we have been to. The dinner was well portioned, fresh and flavourful (octopus and linguine pasta). The dessert was unique and had layers of flavour (yogurt based with honey and fruit). Would definitely recommend for special dinner in Florence.

21/07/2025: Four of us had dinner there a few nights ago! My partner is from Elba, and we try different restaurants every year. This is definitely one of the best restaurants on the island: the atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is kind, friendly, and informal at the same time. The food is excellent, well-cooked, and the ingredients are fresh! The restaurant is very refined and in an excellent location! I hope everything stays the same next year! We'll definitely be back!

09/08/2025: Always a guarantee! A very well-kept place with enchanting views of both the sea and the mountains. The menu offers both meat and seafood. Excellent quality and beautiful presentation. This year, I found the prices higher than last year. In my opinion, a little too high.

06/08/2025: Amazing food. The waitresses were really nice, but there weren't many, so we had to wait a long time. The atmosphere was a little noisy, but the food and beer were excellent. Top! Highly recommended!

17/07/2025: Absolutely amazing!!! If you are in the Pisa area I 20/10 recommend!! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely! The service alone was amazing!! Our waiter is a part owner and recommended amazing dishes!! We were a group of 6 and every dish was so tasty and delicious!! They make everything from scratch and you can taste how fresh everything was!!! The pumpkin pizza is usually not something I would order but it was one of if not the best pizza I’ve ever had I’m so glad I did!! It is so nice to support local businesses especially ones that treat you like family NOT a tourist!!! You will not regret eating at this hidden GEM!!!!

10/08/2025: Forse ci aspettavamo di più viste le recensioni, il ristorante comunque è buono. Abbiamo preso uno spaghetto allo scoglio che non era male ma troppo unto e una carbonara di mare buona. La frittura è il piatto che ci ha delusi, troppo farinosa e poca varietà di pesce. Il servizio è stato gentile e puntuale. Il conto giusto.
