19/12/2024: Had the Experience menu with the basic wine pairing. Everything was perfect !

11/12/2024: Our first fine dining experience in Florence and it was excellent. I didn’t know what to expect but I loved almost all the dishes. I especially loved the unexpected surprise dishes. Our server, Marco, played a giant role in how good of a time we had. He seemed so proud to present the dishes and his excitement made us excited. The fish dish was a very big miss for me but overall the dishes tasted very balanced and flavorful. The only thing lacking was creativity as most of the dishes didn’t really come off as special or innovative. However the fine service and taste more than made up for it.

08/12/2024: We went to Il Giglio for lunch and had a great time, we ate the risotto with pumpkin, cabbage and chestnuts which was delicious, the place is original and the staff were very kind! We will be back soon.

22/10/2024: We had dinner in this beautiful restaurant by the sea, the environment was as refined as the service and the dishes served. They bring you the entrée and the small meliga before dessert, the staff are in uniform and the environment has soft lights and a relaxing atmosphere. We were delighted at the first taste of the crouton with Cantabrian anchovies followed by an incredible tuna tartare! We ordered the first course by copying the neighbors, but luckily for us we didn't explain ourselves well to the waiter and we received a plate of spaghetti with squid ink and burrata with mussels and cherry tomatoes which we thanked heaven for the misunderstanding because they were sublime! We then had the mackerel and the sea bass, I honestly didn't expect my mackerel to be so tasty, but it exceeded all expectations and the sea bass with vegetables was also really excellent. We were full, but we couldn't resist the tiramisu... stratospheric! Special thanks to Emanuele who was super professional and very nice! We found the price absolutely adequate for the entire experience, in line with the level of the restaurant and definitely in the average of the island, naturally referring to restaurants of the same level or even lower level, the Da Piero restaurant stands out, so absolutely 🔝

24/11/2024: The food was very tasty and the service was great at the beginning. Then the restaurant filled up and the service was a bit overwhelmed due to all the work. It is also a bit cool in the restaurant at times because the front door was often opened to serve outside (tent).

30/12/2024: Good but could be improved. Nice place with quick service (we arrived early). I started with a truly top appetizer which gave me hope for the rest. The second course, a fish in crust, was still good, but unfortunately the vegetable side dish was burnt and I left it all. Really a shame, because the dessert taken to finish was also good. But attention to detail sometimes does not allow the desired results to be achieved. Fairly high bill and not abundant portions.

29/12/2024: We went to this place on a Saturday evening: a welcome and kindness that has been lacking in many other places lately. Attentive, fast service and the waiters are very available to offer explanations and even advice on the courses. Superlative cuisine, tasty, refined and never banal. We had the tasting, two first courses, namely risotto and seafood tagliolini (amazing), the swordfish with vegetables and its breading (exceptional and very soft) and finally two very very good and not too heavy desserts (chocolate cake and basket of chantilly cream and berries). The bill was more than fair and I would have paid even more for the beautiful evening and the quality offered. Compliments!!!!! We'll be back. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

08/12/2024: Beautiful evening and great discovery of this restaurant. We celebrated a friend's birthday, we had a really good time. Clean, welcoming location. The landlady Elisa looked after us impeccably with professionalism and friendliness. The dishes are not only very good but also packed with personality. There was no chaos of voices or people shouting, we were able to talk calmly. Quality/price ok 👌 I highly recommend.

24/11/2024: Today I had lunch in this place together with other colleagues. Some knew him but many didn't and the comments were very favorable. Young staff, very kind and available for any need. Dishes served with care. Compliments to the chef and all the staff.

24/11/2024: Both the fish and the risotto were great. The Apfelstrudel was delicious, Apfelstrudel is sadly often served cold with a pretty dry texture, but this one was warm and juicy. The waiter was also very nice and helpful, always asking if we needed anything and even offering to fillet the fish for us.

09/12/2024: Abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene! Gli antipasti erano strepitosi, una vera sorpresa, e i tagliolini al granchio sono stati abbondanti e molto saporiti. I piatti sono generosi, quindi anche se i prezzi sono un po' elevati, almeno le porzioni giustificano l'investimento. L'unica nota stonata riguarda però il comportamento osservato tra il personale. Non è piacevole assistere a situazioni in cui i camerieri, evidentemente meno esperti, vengono trattati in malo modo davanti ai clienti.

04/12/2024: Servizio e portate deludenti: la cameriera ci ha “gentilmente” consigliato di non condividere gli antipasti per la quantità scarsa ( 1 crostino 20 euro ) , inoltre mentre il nostro stesso primo su altri tavoli si presentava più abbondante, nel nostro era alquanto scarso. Esperienza che non ripeterò.
