15/01/2026: We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Borgo San Jacopo for my husband’s birthday back in October. The restaurant itself is both cozy and beautiful and the service was attentive without feeling like someone was hovering over you all evening. We were given the option of ordering a la carte or a choice of 3 tasting menus with the caveat that if you choose a tasting menu the whole table must choose the same one. We went with a tasting menu and really loved the number of courses that it allowed us to sample. Favorite dishes were the ricotta snack, risotto with meatballs, the lamb loin and the salted caramel peanut bonbon at the end. The mushroom ice cream that was served with the crudités was very interesting and we also loved the house made olive oil. They really made my husband’s birthday feel special and it was one of our best meals in Italy.

05/01/2026: Having ended up there after being bounced from another restaurant, we were welcomed and taken on an exciting tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients combined with the chef's skill produce dishes that are unpredictable and delicious in every way. The service was impeccable, with a professionalism rarely found, even at other Michelin-starred restaurants. A huge round of applause and thanks to Domiziana, Lorenzo, and Salvatore.

13/01/2026: I came here for the breakfast part of my bed and breakfast. Atmosphere here on this cloudy morning through their skylight is top notch. The morning buffet was excellent, everything tasted amazing. The barista, Mika, making the drinks was very kind and happy. The ambient music was all perfect.

04/11/2025: I was in the region with my father, and after 15 years we absolutely wanted to return to this restaurant, as we always remembered it as wonderful. And after 15 years, it's still excellent, and the food is of high quality. The value for money is right, and the service is excellent and very friendly. The view, the atmosphere, the food—simply perfect. One of our favorite restaurants in Tuscany, if not our absolute favorite. We will definitely come again; it's highly recommended, simply unique!

04/01/2026: This restaurant is lovely, with good food, a great setting, and wonderful service. Viola was so welcoming to our family and made eating at a nice restaurant with young children into as relaxing and enjoyable an experience as possible. We were happy to eat there and recommend!

04/01/2026: Among the many options we were offered for meat, we chose Lungarno, and I must say we were absolutely delighted! Excellent and vast selection of wines, and the meat (Florentine steak and Chianina fillet) was superb. To top it all off, we were guided through our choices by the sweet and friendly Viola. I highly recommend it!

14/11/2025: The most beautiful place in the world, where you feel at home. Located on a panoramic hill just a minute from the center of Capezzano Pianore, in summer you can fully enjoy the garden surrounded by nature. The food and service are top-notch, and the owner makes you feel at home. There's nothing better in the area.

20/12/2025: We had a pleasant experience at this quiet restaurant. The quality of the dishes was high, the portions were adequate, and the prices were in line with the menu. We particularly enjoyed the house appetizer, the seafood risotto, perfectly cooked and delicious, and the panettone tortelloni, with a warm center and a bed of custard. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place serves the finest Italian cuisine, and I’ve been coming here since 2003 without ever being disappointed. Mr. David, the owner, always treats me with exceptional care. 11/01/2026: When we're in Castiglioncello, we happen to stop by this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as is the owner, who knows how to cater to her customers' every need. The desserts are excellent.
