11/02/2025: Several WOW moments throughout the Experience. The beef tartare was especially memorable and the wine pairings were excellent. Beautiful presentations. Very expensive but worth the splurge.

10/02/2025: I went there as a Japanese tourist, The atmosphere of the store staff is also good. When I asked for food recommendations, they told me, It was delicious. He even tried to take a photo, I was very impressed with the service spirit. I didn't ask for a tip, but I personally tipped 1 euro.

01/02/2025: I would say it was an amazing experience in this restaurant. The service staff were really attentive and charming. I want to give thanks especially to Alex and Luke. We ordered 9 course tasting menu and spent almost 4 hours there from 8 to 12, but they were all very nice and patient during the whole night. Besides I asked for suggestion for our all seafood menu and the recommendation from one of them was really good. The food all have good taste and great creativity. I’m seafood lover and the chef is from almafi coast so I would say it’s a perfect match. My favorites are red prawn, langostín ravioli and eel. The restaurant is inside an elegant hotel, we were arranged at a table near the window, the space is not so big but they make sure each table has great privacy. Well deserved Michelin 2 stars

27/01/2025: The food was good, very tasteful and flavorful, it really shows you why they deserve their stars. My favorite were the olive and the dumpling as appetizer, the pasta and the lobster as main. I think those were my favorites not only as they were delicious, but I also think the Chef took his personal style to create something interesting with the ingredients. The deserts were not my favorites, but I’d still recommend the restaurant for a friend, for sure. Regarding services, our waiter Alex was amazing… it was easy to understand what he explained to us, and he’d answer any follow up questions very easily. We had another waiter that was probably training which impacted the experience, but he was very nice and was trying his best.

22/10/2024: We had dinner in this beautiful restaurant by the sea, the environment was as refined as the service and the dishes served. They bring you the entrée and the small meliga before dessert, the staff are in uniform and the environment has soft lights and a relaxing atmosphere. We were delighted at the first taste of the crouton with Cantabrian anchovies followed by an incredible tuna tartare! We ordered the first course by copying the neighbors, but luckily for us we didn't explain ourselves well to the waiter and we received a plate of spaghetti with squid ink and burrata with mussels and cherry tomatoes which we thanked heaven for the misunderstanding because they were sublime! We then had the mackerel and the sea bass, I honestly didn't expect my mackerel to be so tasty, but it exceeded all expectations and the sea bass with vegetables was also really excellent. We were full, but we couldn't resist the tiramisu... stratospheric! Special thanks to Emanuele who was super professional and very nice! We found the price absolutely adequate for the entire experience, in line with the level of the restaurant and definitely in the average of the island, naturally referring to restaurants of the same level or even lower level, the Da Piero restaurant stands out, so absolutely 🔝

09/02/2025: Food ok, shame about the terrible service. At the end of the meal, just after paying, I was waiting for my mother and my cousin to return from the bathroom, when a waiter came running and, perhaps thinking that I didn't understand Italian, started gesticulating and saying 'come on, come on'. When I tried to explain to them that I was about to leave, but that I was just waiting for 2 people to return from the bathroom, the waiter responded very rudely, saying 'yes, yes, yes, but in the meantime you have to clear the table' and continuing to gesticulate as if I didn't understand him. So I got up, and I also had to collect other people's jackets, bags and wait outside the restaurant for them to join me. I don't think I have ever received such rude treatment. All you had to do was ask politely.

08/02/2025: abbiamo mangiato i piatti classici e secondo me i migliori , Bellissima serata, ottimo cibo e piacevole compagnia, ristorante raffinato, di un livello superiore, bellissima vista in estate, a differenza di una volta che si poteva reputare piu sul normale, ora è diventato IN ....cmq ogni tanto si può fare, si mangia molto bene.consigliato

06/02/2025: Efficient and quick service, we had the tasting of seafood crudités and two hot seafood appetizers. The plinths and lamb were all excellent and the presentation of the dish was well prepared. The desserts were good even if a little cloying, in particular the chocolate ingot.

25/01/2025: Last night, we had dinner in this beautiful, very well-kept restaurant. Their kindness comes first, they are very attentive to the service, we ate both meat and fish and it was all really delicious, exquisite, the fried fish top and very soft! I would say the kitchen was perfect, fast, with great attention to detail and extremely clean and tidy. You can see that the father and son love this job very much and convey passion in what they do, and that's not for everyone! Thank you so much for this experience, we'll see you again soon! (fair prices for the quality and service they give!)

16/01/2025: We thought MUCH better... we asked for a Mediterranean fried food; first of all it wasn't BIG, just a prawn, a few solitary anchovies split in half, and then all pieces of squid wings, not even rings in which the shape of the squid could be recognised... a faded, anemic fried dish, without any fishy scent … a real disappointment … the fried artichokes on the side… thank goodness… good. We will not return nor recommend it. January 16, 2025 for lunch.

14/02/2025: Clean, welcoming, intimate environment. Excellent service, truly impeccable waiters, always smiling, 5 stars are too few for them. Good seafood tasting, excellent braised octopus. Saffron risotto overall good, creamy, but the only sore point is the truffle, I would avoid adding it because it overpowers the taste of the entire dish. The delicacy of the shrimp was no longer perceptible. Juicy tuna, cooked well. Desserts a little expensive, nothing special for the prices (€8-10). The bill can be rounded up, sometimes the gesture of removing two euros and making the amount the same makes the customer more inclined to return.

06/02/2025: I love Compitese and have been thinking about trying this restaurant for a long time. We are a bit obsessed with pizza, so we chose a selection of seafood appetizers, excellent and beautiful, and two rather particular pizzas, one with stracciatella and raw prawns, lots of raw prawns, and the other was with Cantabrian anchovies, aubergines and buffalo mozzarella. The pizza dough is particular, not ultra flattened as is the case in Pontedera, where we live, nor high, it was somewhere in between, crunchy and soft, as we say ALIVE and not killed by presses and rolling pins, but above all the seasoning was exceptional, with the anchovies being really good in terms of flavor and consistency and the other with the raw prawns, nice and firm and tasty. Maybe it was missing a bit of colour, especially the aubergines with anchovies gave it too much grey, which then with the anchovies I would have added a couple of fillets of red peppers, but also for Instagram 🤪jokes aside, really excellent pizzas, overall we liked everything a lot, even the coffee had a cream which is now a rarity. No dessert, it's difficult for us to get to dessert, even if it doesn't look like it physically, I know. Prices seem regular to me, of course there are also very particular things, but the prices are fair. I hope to return soon.

16/02/2025: Il punteggio è dovuto al conto, alla velocità del servizio e la loro gentilezza. Ho preso un primo tipico locale alla piastra (buono), una pizza (passabile) e un dolce (tradizionale che si avvicinava ad una portoghese, che non mi ha fatto impazzire). Tutto nella media, come sempre soggettivo. Locale strapieno, quindi bene, ma caos e voci molto alte, la gente non si sa regolare, andrebbe spiegato che non siamo allo stadio, sembra più orientato verso un pub. Tutti hanno concordato che era troppo caldo. Di pro, come accennato, la gentilezza e sorrisi, sia del personale che del titolare, per me ha un ottimo potenziale, va bene che era sabato,e. buon per loro, non c’era un posto libero. Qualora dovessi tornarci, prenderei sicuramente lo stinco, che dicono essere cavallo di battaglia. Da riprovare.
