12/09/2025: The restaurant is very nice. The restaurant manager's kindness is definitely a strong point. We were overall satisfied with the tasting menu we tried.

03/09/2025: We love trying Michelin-starred restaurants. I personally enjoyed all the courses on the tasting menu experience, except that the portions were small and there were four courses plus a dessert (too few for the €190 per person). The service was average, but since I understand Italian, two waiters were making fun of some tourists who didn't understand, and this didn't seem polite or professional on the part of the staff. The setting was certainly beautiful, but we didn't get to enjoy the view of the Arno because we were on the upper floor of the restaurant where there was a window and very little view. All in all, it was a positive experience; I had a good evening.

06/10/2025: Cozy, little bit old styled smal restaurant. Nice view on the Arno. Delicious simple Italian food: antipasto, primi and salads. Normal prices ( cheap). Good services.

16/09/2025: This was our first time in Florence, and our first time at this restaurant, recommended by a friend. This elegant location has a welcoming and classy (but not overly formal) atmosphere. Impeccable service, with detailed explanations of each dish. We tried the land tasting menu, but there's also an à la carte option. A wide selection of high-quality wines (with an underground cellar). Prices are in line with the quality of the dishes, and everything is delicious.

15/09/2025: A 10/10 service, very friendly waiters, and most importantly, the food is some of the best I've ever eaten. Delicate dishes and deep flavors with top-quality ingredients. 100% recommended.

16/10/2025: Quite expensive place, small portions. We left hungry. It was recommended to us, but we would not visit it again. It was our worst choice in Florence.

From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional — the staff clearly take pride in creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. I ordered the Florentine steak, and it was perfection — beautifully grilled, tender inside with that incredible flavor that Tuscany is known for. The waiter recommended a local red wine to pair with it, and it complemented the meal flawlessly. Every bite felt like a true taste of Florence. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a memorable dinner with a view, Lungarno 23 is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the city!

09/10/2025: Peak fine dining experience. The location alone is one of a kind. Located in the heart of Florence inside Hotel Brunelleschi, in a tower, they have very limited seating. The reservation process alone was an adventure in itself. Our visit was to celebrate 3 Libra birthdays. Our party of 4 opted for the 9 courses. One of us decided to do the wine pairing. When I tell you, there was so much food. We would’ve probably been better off doing the 7 courses, but we wanted to eat everything. We were all falling asleep by the end of the night. One was nonstop yawning. To the unfamiliar, they focus more on seafood. Every dish is out of this world. Down to the presentation. I savored every bite. The standout for me was the oyster and how it came in two parts. It was so innovative. I loved the sauces that accented the protein and the jus. Don’t even get me started on the service. What an attentive team. I always refer to it as poetry in motion the way the team moves effortlessly that you don’t even realize when they refill your glass of water. No crumb was left behind on that table. Someone scraped up anything that didn’t belong on the table after every course. Lastly, I just want to mention what a great job they did with the birthday cake that was an add-on to our meal. It was so damn good. Grazie Chef Rocco and team for an amazing meal.

06/10/2025: I chose the seven-course wine pairing menu, and it was truly exceptional. Each dish was beautifully prepared, and the wines matched every course with remarkable precision. The sea urchin and salted roe pasta was particularly memorable — rich, balanced, and full of depth. It was also my first time trying pigeon, and it was tender and flavorful, without any trace of gaminess. The entire experience lasted about four hours, yet it felt perfectly paced and immersive. After visiting the Uffizi Gallery, enjoying this dinner felt like the most elegant way to unwind. I not only enjoyed every moment but also learned so much about wine pairing throughout the evening.

04/10/2025: What can I say...our friends made us spend a wonderful evening at this restaurant, which offers dishes cooked with great combinations and top-notch service. The owners pampered us and recommended a delicious and tasty fish menu, to finish with a dessert trolley with various tastings mmm. I recommend 🤲👌🥂

03/10/2025: Every time I visit Montecatini, I try to have lunch and dinner there. There's always fresh fish, a huge selection of wines, a variety of desserts, and always a delicious treat after each meal, a complimentary gift from the establishment. The service, with Edison and Luigi, is always unobtrusive and pleasant.

20/09/2025: Excellent food at Da Piero! The tuna tartare appetizer was fresh and delicious, and the grilled octopus was perfectly prepared. The crowning glory: a tiramisu that was probably the best of my life. Top-notch service and excellent value for money – a clear 5 stars!

19/09/2025: We had a lovely dinner here. The food was excellent albeit a little retro in style (as we have found in a number of smarter restaurants on Elba - lots of purées / arty smears etc). Good wine list and lovely setting too - a really warm, welcoming room - beautifully lit and stylishly done. We were very well looked after by Sophie and all staff were friendly and efficient.

22/09/2025: Located in the first hills behind Capezzano Pianore, just 1.5 km or 2 km from the Sarzanese Provincial Road. However, some road signs to help locate the restaurant wouldn't be a bad idea! As soon as we entered, we were escorted to the back garden/patio, and the setting is truly fantastic. The waiters are elegant in their uniforms. The menu includes both meat and fish, and the dishes are well-prepared and beautifully presented. Everything perfect, then? Almost. A couple of details were a shame: the mushrooms in the tagliatelle ai funghi were frozen, plasticky, and tasteless (a serious problem, considering it was mid-September); when ordering coffee, I unfortunately discovered they had no sweetener, just white sugar (being diabetic, I had to drink it bitter). Finally, the bill: €75 per person for an appetizer, a first course (or second course), dessert, and the cheapest wine on the menu—it's not cheap, though the garden/patio setting justifies the slight price premium.

02/10/2025: It's not the first time, and it's always a positive experience. The shank was fabulous, and the beer-infused mascarpone was delicious. The pizza, which I've tried before, was also excellent. The Resina beer was delicious.

29/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, after a snowshoe hike, and we were beyond thrilled. As soon as we entered, we felt right at home; it's a very warm and welcoming place. The very courteous staff accompanied us to our table and took our order shortly thereafter; afterward, they were a bit absent, but that was because the place suddenly filled up all at once. We had a mixed appetizer of crostini and cured meats, and ravioli with meat sauce and mushrooms... Everything was delicious. For dessert, we had chestnut fritters that melted in your mouth. You could tell the food was all authentic and high-quality. Congratulations 👏
