11/08/2026: Everything was amazingly perfect, both the food and the service. We walked by the terrace a couple of times and kept saying that we had to try it, and it was the best decision ever. The terrace is absolutely beautiful, and you can really feel the care and attention to detail throughout the house. The food was excellent, but what made the experience even more special was the wonderful service. All the waiters were incredibly attentive, friendly, and pleasant, and we truly appreciated all the little details that made us feel so welcome. Very professional staff and an unforgettable atmosphere. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back!

16/05/2026: It was recommended by our local host, Isabella. Casa Niclodi was easily the best meal of our entire trip—we’re still talking about it days later. Every dish was incredible, and you can really feel the care behind the food. The service made it even better—so warm, genuine, and attentive without being over the top. It just felt special from start to finish. Don’t miss this place.

24/07/2026: The restaurant has been recommended by our hotel, so we decided to give a try. We had octopus, beef and tuna tataki, and I have to honestly say, that the food is amaizing out there. They claim to have Michelin 2021 recommendation, but the food is just great! All prepared with very high quality. The only minus is for interior design that is not matching the quality of the food.

24/07/2026: A truly exceptional restaurant with impressively delicious food and good house wine. The only thing that took me by surprise was the bill, as I was charged for ‘Restaurazione’, which I may have mistaken for a tip. I’d appreciate some clarification!

08/09/2025: I ate excellent raw ham, although the portion was certainly not large. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only flaw is that the restaurant isn't air-conditioned.

20/06/2026: I visited this restaurant after it was recommended to me as a "hidden gem." I'm very grateful for the kind service I received despite my unfamiliarity with ordering. The swordfish rolls called "Involtini," recommended by the staff, were incredibly delicious. They were unbelievably good. The vongole was also superb; the flavors were perfectly balanced, with each ingredient complementing the others without being overpowering. Compared to Japan, Italian portions are larger, so I couldn't order many dishes, but this is definitely a restaurant I want to return to. Next time, I'll definitely order the swordfish rolls, and I'd also like to try other pasta dishes!

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Taormina, with exceptionally friendly service, a homey atmosphere, delicious food, and fresh fish—not so easy to find on this island. We're going back tomorrow. Plus, the view of Mount Etna—wonderful! I hope there are more places like this!

09/08/2026: We visited this place today, and our impressions were quite mixed. Let me start with the positives: the food is genuinely very tasty — a big compliment to the kitchen. The atmosphere and the place itself are also wonderful. Unfortunately, the service ruined almost the entire experience of the evening. When we arrived, only about four tables were occupied, while there were around 5–6 waiters working. Despite this, we waited about 30 minutes just to have our order taken. After that, we waited another 30 minutes just to be brought and given empty plates. In other words, nearly an hour passed and we still had essentially not received any real service. Naturally, the dishes themselves took even longer. During all this time, almost no one came to our table. No one rushed to clear used dishes, check if everything was okay, offer anything else, or simply acknowledge us. What was most unpleasant was the impression that the waiters were constantly shifting responsibility to one another. We tried to ask someone to take our order, but instead we were passed from one person to another, and no one seemed particularly willing to serve our table. It was especially strange to see guests who arrived significantly later than us already receiving their food while we were still unable to even place our order. We are not sure whether our age played a role — we are 20–23 years old and look quite young — or whether it was simply the staff’s attitude towards their work. We do not want to draw unfounded conclusions, but the difference in treatment between our table and others was noticeable. With so many waiters and an almost empty restaurant, it is very difficult to explain such slow and indifferent service. Would we come back? For the food and the atmosphere — absolutely yes. But only with a very different level of service. The food deserves a high rating, the place is beautiful, but unfortunately the work of the waiters left an entirely negative impression. It felt less like a staffing issue and more like a complete lack of willingness to serve the guests.

07/08/2026: Good restaurant, but the service could use some work. The waiters get a bit pushy when it comes to ordering, and even when I ask for a few extra minutes to see the menu, I take it literally, and after a minute I'm back there.

09/08/2026: An unexpected, typically Sicilian return A very comfortable beach, with deckchairs and sun loungers at a very reasonable price. Compared to other beaches, this one struck us for its authenticity. It has showers and a simple, traditional restaurant. Mrs. Carmelina welcomed us with a smile and kindness. Crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere. We also ate very well and will definitely return. I recommend it!!

21/07/2026: We arrived from Hotel Bel Soggiornó by transfer. The price of 18E/person includes a sunbed and umbrella as well as the round-trip transfer. The beach has a beautiful view of the open sea. This is a quieter, calmer and less crowded stretch of beach. There is also a shower, which you don't have to pay extra for. The restaurant has very delicious pasta and fish dishes, salads at a reasonable price, between 10-20 Euros. Panini is 6 Euros. Espresso is 1 Euro! I couldn't believe it! The service is courteous and polite, fast. We remember the time spent here with fondness!
