10/11/2024: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier, die Bedienung war sehr nett und auf zack. Nach dem bestellen war das Essen nach 10 min da und es hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Sardinischer Weißwein hat das ganze abgerundet. Gerne wieder grazie

01/11/2024: Reservé La Capinera para un cumpleaños "importante" mientras estábamos fuera en Sicilia. Se convirtió en una noche desastrosa. Llegamos para encontrar el restaurante en la oscuridad. Inseguros de si estábamos en la puerta correcta paseamos por 10 minutos, bajando las escaleras junto a la señal que nos llevó debajo del ferrocarril y a la playa. Mi compañero que estaba en tacones obviamente encontró toda la experiencia muy angustiante. La confirmación de la reserva por correo electrónico dice "Para más información, no dude en contactar con nosotros" pero no tiene número de contacto. El cartel del restaurante tenía un número al que llamé. Un hombre respondió diciendo 'La Capinera' - dije que estábamos afuera y pregunté dónde estaba la entrada. Él respondió que estaban cerrados y que nos había enviado un correo electrónico 4 días antes - solo habíamos reservado ayer y así que esto era una mentira. Al reservar, se requiere una tarjeta de crédito y dicen que si no te presentas te cobrarán 200 euros en tu tarjeta. Nosotros aparecimos como no, así que espero que nos acrediten 200 euros como quid pro quo. Dado su desdén por sus clientes, sospecho que esto puede no suceder. Habida cuenta de la poca antelación ( 7 : 45 el viernes por la noche) no pudimos encontrar ningún otro restaurante 'estándar similar' y por lo que nuestra noche se arruinó. No reserve este restaurante si su razón para hacerlo tiene algún significado y es importante. No tienen respeto por los clientes.

08/11/2024: Eerlijke prijzen voor pure gerechten. En dat net buiten de drukte van de winkelstraat... Vriendelijk personeel. Niet opdringerig.

02/11/2024: Jugo de naranja recién exprimido sabía a agua La bruschetta no tenía sal, no había ajo, era solo tomate picado en pan francés. El prosciutto y el melón El melón estaba bien el prosciuotto estaba, bueno no era parma o San Danielle

08/09/2024: I had a fabulous week, the beach is beautiful, the staff very welcoming, the cuisine super innovative with exquisite dishes, I really recommend it.

08/09/2024: The beach club was almost empty which made it very relaxing. The food on site is nothing earth-shattering and is only average for the prices. You get a beach set with towels and a hand fan which is quite practical. The location is not ideal because the directly adjacent street and the trains are quite loud. The pool was very clean and the beach was easily accessible through a small tunnel. There is even a small Guess shop on site with a small range.

27/12/2024: We went here during our trip to Taormina in December 2024. We felt the food was good. The atmosphere was great but we felt cheated. See the attached photo of our receipt. We were not only charged the local three euro per person tax which is common but we were charged for three beers and we only received two and they had a 10% service charge which we did not find anywhere else.

26/10/2023: The food was delicious and the service excellent. Beware the specials. No prices given and 35 Euros for a pasta, instead of 20 ish for others. Naughty. Also don't expect to see the view from your table. The tables are too low.

18/10/2023: Hervorragendes Essen mit grandioser Bedienung. Für Genießer ein absolutes Muss. Wir kommen nächstes Mal sehr gerne wieder. Grazie

04/12/2024: The starters were quite good, but the pizzas didn't taste like anything at all, a shame, a bit expensive for what was offered.

03/12/2024: It’s expensive but the quality is there. As an American, just know the portions are going to be significantly smaller than in the states. But also remember, that’s a good thing! Haha

04/12/2024: Terrible place! Guests are treated in an unacceptable manner here. The three of us came to explore Taormina together with my French cousin, who was pregnant and was waiting for us outside. We wanted to stop for coffee and something sweet, but due to her condition, my cousin also wanted to use the toilet, so we asked the owners if there is a toilet in the cafe. We wanted to be sure about this before the order. Unfortunately, after this question, the owners, who speak very little English, started shouting at us that it was not a public toilet and that they would neither let us use it nor serve us, even if we wanted to order something to drink or eat. We were asked to leave in an extremely rude manner, even though the place was almost empty. I don't know why there is such aggression and lack of culture on the part of the owners. I hope it's not because they exclude other nationalities... No one, anywhere in the world, has ever treated us in such a rude way. I believe that the matter should be dealt with by the local chamber of commerce, because someone who works in a public place cannot segregate customers according to his own discretion and treat them that way. I hope that these people will close their business there soon (even now they don't have many guests but instead there are many negative opinions about them on the Internet). I hope their cafe will be taken over by someone else soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this.

04/11/2024: From the series: you fool me once... A coffee €4.00... no comment. Luckily we then found better places in the centre. I do not recommend this bar! I don't usually give bad reviews, but when it's needed, it's needed...

26/09/2024: Habiendo cenado y alojado en otras propiedades de Belmond que espera lo mejor y cualquier cosa menos es decepcionante. Aquí la comida no era nuestra mejor comida, pero sí el costo más alto. El personal no es el más amable o agradable. Sí, la vista era agradable, pero hay muchos con buenas vistas. Y la mayoría de los mecenas tienen derecho y son pretenciosos. Una vez y hecho es suficiente.

15/09/2024: Il ristorante Timeo e una delle offerte gastronomiche del Grand Hotel Timeo, la seconda struttura alberghiera Belmond a Taormina. Incastonato tra il Teatro Antico e incantevoli giardini terrazzati, con vista alla baia di Naxos. Piatti deliziosi e servizio al tavolo cinque stelle.
