27/10/2025: Had dinner our first evening in Baveno…we were staying at the Hotel Dino for a conference. My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prioritizing the convenience!
We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and had immediate service. It was quiet as it was early by European dining standards at 7pm but over the course of our dinner filled in.
We had an attentive and yummy experience. We ended the evening with their delicious tiramisu…we would return our final evening to have this dessert again!

03/01/2026: The service was extremely disappointing. We had to wait forever for water, food, and the bill… no apology, no explanation. The food was okay, but having to wait that long for it was definitely not worth it.
07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the
Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!!
The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect.
The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again.
Highly recommended.

4 caffè 12 euro.
2 euro di caffè e 1 euro di servizio ..
A Domodossola non è accettabile.
Capisco perché lavora solo nel weekend con gli svizzeri. Non siamo in Piazza Duomo a Milano!

29/03/2025: Da kann man sich richtig wohlfühlen: eine gepflegte, moderne Einrichtung, gute Beleuchtung und ein sehr zuvorkommender Service. Das Essen kommt sehr zügig; die Lammhaxe ist empfehlenswert

25/04/2025: Ci sono stata oggi con la mia famiglia ,ci siamo tornati dopo due anni , abbiamo ritrovato lo stesso staff , abbiamo pranzato in terrazza con una bellissima vista lago ,il maitre Luca molto ospitale,gentile come tutto il personale .Locale pulito .Cibo ottimo complimenti allo chef e a tutta la cucina . Prezzi adeguati perché c'è da tenere conto che la merce deve essere trasportata con le barche ... Lo consiglio !! Ci torneremo !
25/04/2025: Peu accueillant, prix excessif, le plus mauvais déjeuner que l’on ait mangé en Italie. Très déçue, seule la vue ne faisait pas défaut.

03/05/2025: Non una cena, ma una piacevole esperienza tra le tradizioni di famiglia e la cucina tipica locale che si mischiano con profumi attuali in un contesto decisamente moderno.
A fare da cornice ci sono Angelo e il proprietario che hanno reso tutto perfetto!

Ristorante carino pulito e moderno, forse eviterei i fiori finti...
Ravioli d'anatra sublimi carne ottima così come i dolci.
Purtroppo la valutazione risente del servizio. In carta veniva proposto un filetto di manzo alla senape e un agnello ai carciofi. Adorando i carciofi ed il filetto ho chiesto se si potesse avere questo abbinamento. La risposta secca e' stata non possiamo modificare i piatti. Va bene ma non ho chiesto un fuori menù.ho semplicemente chiesto di invertire 2 condimenti. Esempio spaghetti al pomodoro o penne al ragù...potrei avere gli spaghetti al ragù? No impossibile....mah
Ci ritornerò, perché il cibo merita veramente e cambierò sicuramente valutazione. Forse il cameriere aveva avuto una giornata pesante.

Hotel Rigoli

25/09/2024: Visita semanal en septiembre al final de la temporada. Excelente hotel y personal con balcón junto al lago. La limpieza del personal de alto orden y amable hizo que las vacaciones fueran muy agradables.
29/08/2024: emplacement au bord du lac avec plage privée et à 2 mn à pied du centre, chambres superbes et très confortables, equipe aux petits soins, petit déjeuner fantastique
