06/01/2025: Overall we ate well.
However, we would have liked to try the white truffle but when ordering we were informed that it was not available despite both the menu displayed outside the restaurant (on the pedestal that allows you to consult the dishes before entering) and the menu brought to the table with the dishes with the white truffles were present and no one warned us that they were not available until the moment of ordering.
I believe that if a restaurant in Alba does not have white truffles (displayed on the menu) it should warn a customer in advance who is most likely sitting at one of its tables to try it.

26/02/2025: From the structure you dominate all the Langhe, a top-level restaurant, a breathtaking location and guaranteed relaxation.
04/01/2025: “Locanda del Pilone” is every bit a gem in Alba, and their Michelin-starred gastronomic showstopper was delightfully paired with an almost “illegal” (region-wise) Frescobaldi Castelgiocondo Brunello 2001. It was such a treat that we can’t wait to plan our next culinary escape right back there.

young clientele and beyond
friendly and pleasant staff
30/12/2024: The "temple of the cocktail" disappointed me this time: the worst gintonic I've ever drunk, served without tonic water aside and even degassed (probably on tap) plus an increase of €1.00 for Tanquery gin....I'm sure you can do better!
