Food quality, refined cuisine, impeccable service, and friendly staff are all features you'll find at I Due Buoi. What's more, the restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and quiet, and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food and service offered.
I hope to see this restaurant and its chef get the recognition they deserve soon. 🌟

The restaurant manager was incredibly polite and understanding, and served us dishes that suited our tastes perfectly. Undoubtedly, it's expensive, but it's worth it – fine dining.

Eight of us had a menu to choose from.
All the dishes were very good.
The pesto-filled gnocchi remain my favorite.
This is the menu we tried:
Fassona Beef Tartare and Veal with Tuna Sauce
Risotto with Robiola di Roccaverano, Gavi reduction
Beef Cheek Braised in Gavi, Local Mashed Potatoes
Creamy Cream Gelato and its Appetizers
Excellent service, very pleasant atmosphere overlooking the vineyards. Extensive wine list, though missing Franciacorta and Trento DOC.
The only complaint is the length of the lunch. Three hours is too long, in my opinion...
06/11/2025: Very nice venue. The food is up to par, with some highlights. Service, unfortunately, depends on the room you're seated in and the staff available on the day.

06/12/2025: A cozy and welcoming little restaurant just outside the historic center, a stone's throw from the cathedral and the bar famous for its krumiri.
Friendly staff, quick service.
Good breadsticks, delicious agnolotti, and a very pleasant tartare, including the egg yolk sauce, which went very well.
Recommended if you're passing through Casale.
Very fair bill, excellent value.

I rarely give 5 stars, but I think in this case they're all deserved. Everything was consistent, and yet it continued to amaze me: the location, the decor, the dishes, the food, the service... I could go on, except that lunch was quite short due to my commitments. We'll be back soon. Well done.

08/12/2025: This isn't my first time here for lunch or dinner, and the chef has always delighted me. I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant, so I require a separate menu. The care, originality, and creativity are evident in every dish. Never boring, always delicious, tasty, and healthy. Prepared with skill and passion. I recommend Locanda dei Paoli to vegetarians and vegans who want to enjoy delicious and unique dishes. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff, attentive to the needs of both adults and children, complete the experience. Thanks for everything, as always. See you next time!

22/09/2025: Twice we went to eat a piece of grilled beef. Ordered medium, served maybe a little rare, but tender and excellent. Pasta with porcini mushrooms was also very good. Waitress friendly and efficient. Price a little high justified by the quality.

23/01/2025: Torniamo dopo molto tempo in questo locale famoso per il suo fritto misto piemontese. Che ritroviamo sempre di ottima qualità (forse questa volta servito un pelino freddo). La presenza di una sola cameriera (servizio lento in generale) non giustifica. Mi metto comunque nei panni di questa ragazza che di più non poteva fare… Buoni gli antipasti è il vino locale. Lascio comunque le 5 stelle

29/12/2024: Pessima esperienza. Attirato dalle recensioni positive, siamo stati ieri sera a cenare con amici. Il ristorante si compone di più ambienti separati tutti con accesso dall'esterno. Questo ha fatto si che ogni volta che un cameriere entrasse per servire l'aria gelida di dicembre lo accompagnasse allegramente e nulla poteva la barriera di aria calda sparata dal soffitto. Passando al cibo del menù fisso obbligatorio, antipasto servito in 4 gusci di conchiglia per piatto, stile anni 80. Senza infamia o lodi, ma in seguito scopriremo essere il meglio di tutta la cena. Seguito da una "badilata" di trofie con cozze e poche vongole e schegge di gusci qua e là direttamente dalla padella ai piatti. I secondi abbondanti in quantità, ma anche scarsissimi in qualità avrebbero voluto essere una frittura ed una grigliata di pesce. Mal fritto, mal cotto, mal conservato e chissà forse anche mal congelato... al primo boccone ho lasciato tutto nel piatto. La cena si è conclusa con mandarini, noci e sorbetto!!! In conclusione il top della cena... un ottimo caffè. Conclusione in bellezza, 7 crodini, 7 menù, acqua e vino bianco dozzinale per la modica spesa di 50 euro a persona. Non abbiamo potuto conoscere prima la spesa in quanto nessun menù è stato fornito in visione ne tantomeno la lista allergeni. Un plauso al personale di sala, comunque gentile ed educato. Alla cassa risposte dai toni supponenti e velatamente arroganti alle nostre rimostranze per i vari disagi. Mai più Alen!!! Specialità no comment!!!
