03/03/2026: We ordered the Tomahawk steak and Château Briand medium rare. The meat was incredibly tender. The presentation was exquisite! We'll definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant to all meat lovers.
01/03/2026: Traditional dishes, but not limited to them, range from pizzoccheri to fish-based pasta dishes, as well as excellent pizzas.

A wonderful experience, the host is incredibly welcoming... the location is the most beautiful in Chiavenna, elegant, refined... silver cutlery, clean and very welcoming... a menu that satisfies the most discerning palates, including truffle tasters... the photos speak for themselves.
21/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. Impeccable service, kind and friendly staff. Excellent food: Bresaola carpaccio, octopus in cream sauce, homemade pizzoccheri, and tagliolini with clams.

30/09/2025: Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy!
PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!
26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

05/02/2026: Let's start with the positives: The ambiance is wonderful, the wine very carefully selected and perfectly paired with the food.
Ultimately, however, we felt the value for money wasn't quite right. Unfortunately, the mussels weren't entirely fresh during our visit, and some of the dishes seemed rather bland and unimaginative. The portions aren't really designed for a large appetite. While the food is beautifully presented, overall I'd say it's more style than substance.
Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening – with room for improvement.

06/11/2025: A splendid refuge in a stunning location! The hosts are kind and welcoming (the information requested via email could be improved, as it's a bit brief and hasty). There's a family atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent, with generous and authentic dishes. It's also an ideal starting point for excursions.
20/10/2025: A welcoming and quaint restaurant nestled in the woods at an altitude of 1,500 meters, on the road to Preda Rossa.
Excellent for lunch or dinner, with a wide selection of delicious local dishes, or even a quick stop for a simple coffee and a slice of their delicious cakes.

01/01/2026: Terrible. We ordered a cured meat appetizer that arrived with two hairs on it. I pointed out the inconvenience to the waiter, and he brought back the same plate of cured meats without a hair (but left the other hair, so they didn't notice there were two). The third time we tried it, the platter was fine. There was also a hair on the coffee spoon. No discount or apology at the checkout for what happened. Excessively expensive for the amount of food. I gave it one star, but if I could have given it even less!! Not recommended; there are better places in Livigno.

13/07/2025: La location ci è sembrata subito suggestiva, trovandosi all’interno di una cantina. Il cibo è stato ottimo, gli sciatt davvero deliziosi e il piatto di formaggi con prodotti di qualità.
Il prezzo era corretto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Il sevizio molto curato e veloce.
13/07/2025: Ottimo, sia il servizio che il cibo...esperienza da provare a Bormio, se ami il buon cibo e la professionalità del servizio devi assolutamente passare da qui. Prezzo giusto per il servizio avuto. Solo un piccolo consiglio, lavorare sulla luminosità degli ambienti.

27/02/2026: We went here for dinner. Restaurants in the area are very crowded. Here, there were still plenty of free tables. The food isn't even worth one star. The pizzas were burnt black, and the toppings, like onions with the cores and huge chunks of other ingredients, were just thrown on.
The porcini mushrooms, which were spongy and mushy, gave me an upset stomach. The soup was overcooked and tasted like instant soup. Overall, the quality is abysmal.
It's a shame, because the ambiance is very nice, if you disregard being seated in the very back corner, even though there was plenty of space. After the meal, the service was nowhere to be seen. We were better off having dessert elsewhere.
04/02/2026: I came here for dinner.
The food was extraordinary, but what struck me most was the kindness and friendliness of the staff, especially Niccolò and Francesco, two delightful people.
Thank you again, and I'll definitely be back next year!

Bella la parte esterna fronte retro, stupende le parti interne accoglienti, pulite e le tavole apparecchiate con gusto.
Credo di aver mangiato il miglio piatto di pizzoccheri della mia vita, avrei fatto il bis.
Dolci meravigliosi!
Le porzioni sono buone e l impiattamento stupendo, complimenti alla cucina.
Il personale cortese e molto accogliente. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.
Alla prossima tappa a livigno ci torneremo sicuramente.
09/08/2025: Il ristorante è sempre molto bello e accogliente, con un’atmosfera piacevole che mette a proprio agio. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, pronto a venire incontro alle richieste dei clienti. Purtroppo, però, ho notato che la qualità del cibo non è più quella di una volta, e questo ha reso l’esperienza meno soddisfacente rispetto al passato.

25/06/2025: Ormai si sono adagiati sugli allori e vivono di rendita, la gestione con il corso degli anni è peggiorata si come cibo sia come qualità e sia come prezzi....provate altro.
17/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo rifugio per bere una birra che ci è andata di traverso!!!
Non si possono far pagare due bicchieri di birra alla spina e un bicchiere di yogurt 20€, senza nemmeno emettere lo scontrino fiscale!!!!!
