04/05/2025: Serata inaspettata….siamo saliti per caso su questa terrazza in centro per un aperitivo… siamo stati subito folgorati dalla vista sui giardini di porta Venezia. La lista dei cocktail sia alcolici che analcolici è decisamente ricercata. Abbiamo deciso di fermarci per la cena e non siamo rimasti delusi. Gusto e ricercatezza. Una menzione particolare merita il personale di sala professionale attento e cortese. Non vediamo l’ora di tornaci!

11/05/2025: I went to Erba Brusca on a beautiful sunny day and the experience was really pleasant. The place is rustic but well-kept, surrounded by greenery, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for getting away from the city while remaining a stone's throw from Milan. We ate very well: very fresh, original and well-thought-out dishes, with seasonal ingredients. Everything was very special but balanced, you can feel the attention to every detail. The wine was also excellent, carefully recommended by the staff, who were always kind and helpful. The prices are a bit high, but the overall experience justifies them. Highly recommended for a special day or for those who love creative and attentive cuisine, in a truly unique setting.

11/05/2025: A spacious, characteristic, well furnished and clean room. The pizza is really excellent, typically thin but very fragrant and with a very wide menu... The homemade desserts are excellent. The staff is kind, trained and professional; Outside there is a large free car park. I recommend booking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

10/05/2025: Time passes, but it doesn't change! Excellent raw materials, very kind staff. With us there was an elderly lady with a walker, the staff helped us with everything. Light pizza, which stands out, maximum professionalism.

04/03/2025: Premesso che io e i miei amici siamo clienti abituali, che visitano il locale in media due volte a settimana, ci si aspetterebbe un trattamento quantomeno rispettoso. E invece siamo stati trattati in qualsiasi modo meno che rispettoso , direi piuttosto ineducato . Il più delle volte il personale si rivolge in modo superficiale e sguaiato, sbuffando alle richieste del cliente. Il locale offre la possibilità di giocare e freccette, ma spesso queste vengono vietate. L'ultima volta per esempio, ci sono state negate perché "mancavano 40 minuti alla chiusura". La cucina si può definire accettabile, ma attenzione !non è certo che vi preparino da mangiare! Una sera, ad esempio, ci hanno detto che non avrebbero cucinato perché la cucina quella sera non era ancora stata utilizzata, quindi non poteva essere sporcata solo per noi!. Forse si salva solo la roba da bere, ma il prezzo non vale la candela. Sconsigliatissimo.

29/05/2025: been there many times, and this work dinner confirmed previous experiences with the real friendly staff and exceptional food. just what i'd wanted for this department dinner. unfortunately the guy who runs the till was quite a contrast to the rest of the staff, and unfortunately marred the closing tone of the €600 evening.

19/05/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. We have already been there several times for both lunch and dinner and we always had a good time, for this reason we chose it to celebrate our daughter's communion and I must say that everything went perfectly. The food is excellent, the staff is top and the owner Mr Silvio is great!!! I recommend it to everyone!

05/05/2025: The first was spectacular...their specialty is pasta with radicchio and speck creamed with Parmigiano Reggiano. The waiter was very kind and professional, a real added value. The second course, mixed grill, was really subdued, hard and stringy... but considering the treatment the super waiter gave us, I can't say it wasn't a good experience.

01/05/2025: We've wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time and today we finally managed for lunch. A slightly disappointing lunch, the dishes were well presented but the flavor was missing that makes them unique, sensational, like a pinch of extra salt wouldn't have been bad before moving on to the second course which was a mixed fried dish that wasn't cooked enough, it didn't have that crunchiness that I remember in a mixed fried dish, an extra minute was definitely there, the squid was very white rather than golden and the squid were hard/rubbery. Furthermore, not having the wine list and not giving the receipt with the excuse that the computer is not working seems like a low blow for a restaurant that considers itself one of the most historic in Sesto San Giovanni.

22/05/2025: We really like coming to this characteristic restaurant that maintains an atmosphere of times gone by of an old Milanese tavern. It is very pleasant to eat near people playing billiards, in a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The service is excellent, the staff is very kind, fast and friendly. The food is of good quality, we really enjoyed the appetizers but some first and second courses are also remarkable, I would like to point out in particular the coppa with plums, really good. The wine list is decent with good bottles even if some in our opinion are a little overpriced. Even the desserts are not bad, in fact... The cost is fair for what you eat. In conclusion, a truly pleasant evening, The advice is to go there perhaps on less popular days like Wednesday because on weekends it is always very crowded and it is a little difficult to make conversation. Compliments to the managers.

18/05/2025: I recently dined at this restaurant and, although the quality of the food was undoubtedly good, the service was disappointing and definitely not up to the price tag. The dishes were served in an excessive hurry, at a fast pace, without giving us time to fully enjoy the experience. On several occasions, the dishes were taken away while some of us were still eating, creating discomfort and a sense of urgency that was totally out of place. Even more disappointing was the wine service: no spontaneous refills, and the impression of having to constantly ask for something that should be taken care of with care in a restaurant of this level. At the end of the dinner, two bottles remained unused - not by our choice, but due to simple carelessness of the staff. Up to this point, one could call it a bad evening. But what really marked the experience negatively was the absolute lack of follow-up after my direct report to the restaurant. Despite the initial availability shown via email, no one ever showed up with an update or a gesture of attention, not even after the announced internal comparison. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it is precisely in the way they are managed that the professionalism of a place is measured. In this case, the silence received only confirmed the feeling of superficiality and lack of respect towards the customer. I hope that this review is a starting point for reflection to improve, because the impression left, to date, is unfortunately negative.

22/05/2025: My wife and I found this little gem of a restaurant on our one night stay in Milan, and this place made the stay even more special for us. From the time we entered without a reservation, they aimed to make sure we had a great experience. Our meals were fantastic and the service was just as good. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Milan, we will surely make this place a priority to return to.

01/05/2025: This was the absolute best way to end our time in Milan. They were very accommodating to some special needs that we had, chose a fabulous wine for us and were gracious in every way possible. The food was amazing too. This came recommended to me and I highly recommend it to anyone.

30/05/2025: My husband and I visited Sant Ambroeus Milano for aperitivo, and it was a truly lovely experience. He ordered a classic Negroni, while I opted for one of their signature cocktails—both were perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive, helpful, and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The aperitivo snacks were both delicious and generous, with a nice variety that complemented our drinks perfectly. As expected from such a high-end establishment, the prices are on the steeper side for Milan, but we felt the experience justified the cost. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and whether you’re sitting outdoors to people-watch or enjoying the chic interior, it’s a great spot to pause and take in the Milanese vibe. We noticed a mix of locals and tourists, which speaks to its appeal across the board. While we didn’t try the full food menu, what we saw being served around us looked excellent. If you’re in Milan and looking for a sophisticated aperitivo experience, Sant Ambroeus is a wonderful choice.
