13/09/2025: Unfortunately, the service was totally disappointing. We arrived at 7:20 p.m., it was raining today, and we wanted to sit inside. The waiter quickly checked his notes and said there were no more seats inside, everything was reserved, and the only space available was outside under a canopy. The room inside was completely empty at that time. He did nothing—zero effort, for example, to check if a seat was available until 9:00 p.m. It was possible to get one next door without any problems, even without a reservation. What a shame. A very inhospitable experience.

21/08/2025: What can I say... a wonderful experience!
We chose this place for my birthday dinner.
Every detail was taken care of, from the table settings to the service, which was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive.
The dishes were all excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and the execution of a small birthday cake.
They were happy to accommodate every request (even to prepare a risotto for just one person).
The location and the view were a real plus.
Highly recommended.
03/08/2025: A huge disappointment. The menu, priced between €135 and €180 per person, suggests a true gastronomic experience—unfortunately, this isn't the case. If you have a minimally discerning palate, you'll quickly realize that everything here is about appearances without delivering the quality behind it. The flavor combinations are often shaky, lacking in finesse, and sometimes downright bad. It's a far cry from what you'd expect from an establishment billed as gourmet. The first small restaurant in the area does much better, for a fraction of the price. None of the dishes stood out, and some were bordering on boring, even subpar.
The service, however, was adequate—professional without being exceptional.
In short, avoid.

11/07/2025: Siamo tornati quattro mesi dopo un’ottima cena. Che delusione! Cosa è successo? Antipasto di tonno crudo minimale (50 g al massimo), poi orata al sale per due (circa 700 grammi al modico costo di 80€) di sapore salmastro, per finire dolcetti di modesta fattura. Una bottiglia di vino da 40€ che su internet si compra per 15€. Insomma circa 210€ per mangiar male. Cosa resta di positivo? La splendida vista sul golfo e su tutto

22/05/2025: Casi siempre marcamos la opción "Vista Escénica" en los filtros TA, pero se nos permitió elegir durante nuestra visita a la ciudad costera de Camogli, Italia. A menudo nos preocupamos un poco por los restaurantes basados en hoteles que tememos que hayan terminado, con un precio que cubre sus gastos generales extensos, pero Il Doge valió la pena la pequeña prima.
Los langostinos a la parrilla eran algunos de los mejores que habíamos probado - condimento encantador, cáscara principal cortésmente quitado, cocinado justo para estar tierno y jugoso. Tenía la pasta de mariscos que era delicioso.
Una ventaja adicional era que su terraza tenía toldos y el clima pronosticaba algunas duchas que pasaban por allí. Así que pudimos sentarnos bajo su protección y disfrutar de nuestras vistas panorámicas a pesar de un toque de inclemencias del tiempo.

02/09/2025: An embarrassing experience. A plate of the catch of the day (32 euros!) for a paltry plate of sea bass on a bed of two potatoes; spaghetti with clams and mussels: counting three clams and two mussels is a miracle! NEVER AGAIN!

30/07/2025: Cena di lavoro in 20 persone. Atmosfera accogliente, ottimo il servizio. Materie prime di altissima qualità sapientemente elaborate dallo chef. Cucina di livello top in centro città. Qui la buona cucina e l'attenzione al cliente si intrecciano per la soddisfazione del cliente.
Senza dubbio esperienza da ripetere anche a cena.
Consigliatissimo.

Piatti senza infamia e senza lode , ove si cerca di stupire con descrizioni altisonanti ma il risultato è molto discutibile.
Assolutamente da non riprovare

30/08/2025: With a reservation for seven people, I find two round tables, a carefully crafted silver table setting, excellent bread accompanied by a small plate of mountain butter, and a wine list that reads like a dictionary, and unfortunately, the wine we chose is sold out.
This is where the small inconveniences begin. My appetizer, brandacujun stockfish, was excellent, hot, with excellent olives. The same cannot be said for my friends' breaded Monterosso anchovies, which had a slightly worn flavor. Meanwhile, the 10-year-old girl awaits her dish without the slightest attention.
The first course: tagliatelle with small-sized scampi in a smoky-flavored bisque, cold and overcooked.
The spaghetti with clams was borderline acceptable. Ravioli were served in a used gravy boat, like a carafe, without a spoon or a saucer.
Obviously, since I couldn't eat, they asked me, and I replied that I didn't like it. Then the chef showed up, hatless, from the kitchen where another person in civilian clothes was milling around, and insistently demanded explanations, which I promptly provided. He insisted that everything was fresh and the other table had already eaten...
We got up and got discounted on the two first courses.
Very intimate place, some suggestions:
Reduce the wine list
Fewer well-made dishes
Lower the prices
Less French, more Ligurian
