The slightly cooler climate on the mountain provides welcome refreshment, especially on hot days. The service is extremely friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. The cuisine is excellent – ​​the dishes are fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. A wonderful place for a relaxed meal in a beautiful natural setting. Highly recommended! For decades the Dall'Ava family has kept the Sa Romolo area of ​​Sanremo alive with both the renowned restaurant and the bar on its terrace overlooking the lawn. The minigolf completes the facility. It is worth a visit if you are in the area.

09/06/2025: Unique experience❤️ The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Vis à Vis and offers a spectacular view of the Baia del Silenzio and the Baia delle Favole. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is something magical! Refined dishes and quality raw materials. We had a risotto with wasabi and oysters, a large raw fish where there was also sushi prepared by the chef and finally a sea bream in salt accompanied by potatoes and vegetables (the fish was cleaned so well that we didn't find even a bone, congratulations!). The service was impeccable: kind and helpful staff. To conclude they offered us a small tray of pastries and some liqueurs made by them, which were also delicious! The quality/price ratio was also excellent. Everything lived up to expectations, highly recommended!

29/06/2025: 🛡️ EXPERIENCE TO REPEAT! ⚔️ A characteristic and unique place, located in a pretty hamlet of San Bartolomeo al Mare. From the outside it is already welcoming, with a lovely corner where you can eat. Inside the two pleasant rooms are characterized by warm colors and some elements that recall the Middle Ages. The lanterns on the old wooden tables and the table setting with terracotta jugs and glasses complete the picture. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable and the girls working in the dining room are always smiling, attentive and present but in a very discreet way. All the staff wear characteristic clothes, contextualized to the place. The menu includes a wide choice of dishes, all decidedly abundant, cooked with very fresh raw materials, very beautiful to look at and very tasty! The host personally presents the dishes of the day, with a mastery that invites you to choose. There is no shortage of homemade breadsticks and bread, with a very particular appearance. The fast service, without waiting times, leaves the right space for tasting. The house wine, served in characteristic jugs, is of good quality. The prices are decidedly proportionate, with an excellent quality (quantity)/price ratio. When paying the bill, the host suggests a fun game with dice that provides, in the event of a victory by the guest, a discount equal to the amount spent by one person. The attention to the customer is evident from the first contact, with a message confirming the reservation, sending the location of the restaurant and the menu; subsequently, a message also arrives inviting you to review the experience, a sign of transparency and availability. I would like to highlight some small improvements that, in my opinion, would further enrich the experience. The choice of music, present and with non-invasive volumes, could be more contextualized to the restaurant, perhaps with a selection of medieval ballads. The furniture and the table could be embellished with additional elements of a more specific reference to the Middle Ages (e.g. crossed spears on the entrance portal, banners, jute elements, terracotta shards also for desserts and coffee...). The menu, only digital, would perhaps also deserve to be presented in paper form, to facilitate all users; I imagine it to be very characteristic, with attractive graphics that recall ancient texts and names of dishes that play on the historical period. Allow me to give these small suggestions that, in my opinion, would raise the level of a very very deserving place even more. 01/06/2025: My partner and I celebrated his birthday here on April 8th. It was a perfect evening, the tasting menu (we had the full version but there is also a reduced version with a few less courses) is a succession of never banal flavors and unusual combinations, focused on the sea. Each dish is a contemporary work of art, also from an aesthetic point of view. In the dining room we were "pampered" by Beppe who made us feel at ease and explained all the dishes. Very well-stocked cellar. Compliments again to chef Perata, an authentic artist, who had the opportunity to briefly tell us the history of the restaurant, since we asked him, amazed, why it didn't have a Michelin star. He would fully deserve it. A spurcacciuna is a pampering that deserves it.

15/05/2025: Wow, just wow. Anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine with truly amazing seafood and fish will be in the best hands here. Super delicious, great ambiance, reasonable prices, and perfect service. Since everything is cooked fresh in-house, they can accommodate any requests, and everything we tried was simply delicious. For example, there wasn't a dessert on the menu that I liked. The chef said he had something else and brought out a wonderful cake. Insanely delicious and highly recommended.

24/05/2025: This was the best restaurant we went to when we stayed in Monterosso. It started off with amazing views that lead into an awesome experience from meeting the owner & chef. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the florentine steak & my wife had the Pesto pasta. Both were incredible and then we finished the night off with the chocolate soufflé. We called a taxi to go up but they took us back down, excellent service and highly recommend!
