07/01/2026: Specialty craft beers on rotation. Beer prices are a bit high, but the experience is guaranteed. Quality food at fair prices.

03/01/2026: Welcoming place and the master brewer is a nice and very knowledgeable person, we didn't eat but the dishes we saw were very inviting.

02/01/2026: A somewhat pretentious restaurant in terms of quality/price… some things were tasty, like the eggplant meatballs and the chicken… others not so much, the gnocchi with goulash and guanciale (hard, the sauce was very paprika-heavy, and I doubt the guanciale was real)… the chicken rice was hard (although I don't know if that's how the variety they use here is supposed to be, but it wasn't to my liking). The service was rather inattentive and bland… The atmosphere is excellent, very well decorated and warm, and pets are allowed. The quality-price ratio is excessive for what it tries to be but can't deliver.

30/12/2025: We stopped for lunch today at this lovely place. We had tartare (good but spicy, with no indication of the spicy setting), fuzi (the sauce was good, but the pasta was undercooked), and burnt baked potatoes. It's a real shame, because the waitress was kind and the place was really cozy.

08/01/2026: Simply the best restaurant in Trieste, homemade, traditional food with excellent service—a real treat to have discovered. I recommend the Parmigiana (it's not always available) and the Amatriciana. Despite being a restaurant, it also has a selection of excellent beers, always available. A great place to have a drink and socialize. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: An exceptional traditional Trieste trattoria. It feels like stepping back in time. Highly recommended.

17/01/2026: Excellent Neapolitan-style pizza, but a little thinner.... You can also get dough made with other flours.... The pizzas are well-prepared and well-matched.... I would add some tasty fried foods.

16/01/2026: I don't think I'll go back, even if it's my second time in years. There's no reason to do so other than lack of time. And it's at 7:40 PM, anyway!

17/01/2026: Excellent food, with a huge variety of dishes and beer. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Recommended.

13/01/2026: Unfortunately, I have to say that this time we left with a bitter taste in our mouths. The appetizer was decent. Only the creamed cod. Scallops stripped to the white pith, seasoned with ground parsley. The coral? More or less large, they all have it. Then my wife ordered the first course, chitarra pasta, and the second course, mixed grill. The problem: to bring out the two dishes together, the chitarra pasta was stuck together and lukewarm, the two scampi, cut open to remove the veins, were overcooked, the tails practically dissolved into the shells. Grilled: if we're talking about grilled, that means the products have to be grilled without being practically fried, given the oily layer on both sides of the fillets. Only the scampi and the prawns were "grilled." In short, we came four years ago for our anniversary and we had a great time. December 29, 2025, definitely not. Sorry.

04/01/2026: Centrally located (a 2-minute walk to Piazza Unità d'Italia). Fast service Excellent food Excellent value for money. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

19/12/2025: Stopped in for lunch and asked for the work menu. They told me they only serve workers. So I opted for the a la carte menu. I ordered a salad, which was both mediocre and the dressing mediocre. Then I ordered fried calamari, thinking it would be good considering the location. The food served was inedible and tasteless, and the quality/price ratio was poor. I'm not in the habit of writing negative reviews, but it's definitely a place to avoid.

02/11/2025: It's a fast food restaurant serving Balkan products in the center of Trieste. The quality is top-notch and the ingredients are delicious. The prices are a bit higher than average, but considering it's in the center of a "rich" city, that's understandable.

04/10/2025: Interesting lunch options in the city center. Delicious meat and sausage platter. Serbian beer 🇷🇸 worth trying!
