But the fact that the dishes are excellent, prepared with carefully chosen ingredients and cooked with care, even if they are sandwiches, you can only know if you go there, so if you happen to be in Trieste don't miss out on this exceptional brewery. The staff is very kind, attentive and also nice! Recommended for rockers. Just be careful with the Spaccaculi sauce because it does what it says on the tin (I swear it's the most serious spiciness I've tasted in years). It's not cheap but for what you eat it's fine.

13/05/2025: La trattoria effettua orario continuato da mattina a sera. Ambiente ampio, con un bel giardino; ubicazione sulla strada principale, nel centro del paese; classica trattoria cittadina in Carso, con stile semplice un po’ demodé. Recensione riferita ad una cena di 3 amici nel maggio 2024. Abbiamo speso sui 30 euro a testa. Porzioni grandi, ottimo cibo, tovaglia di carta, menù macchiato, parmigiano in bustine. Consiglio i cevapcici (ottima carne morbida, ma senza aglio), cipolla cruda, ajvar, patate in tecia calde e autentiche; oppure il pollo disossato grigliato. Riguardo i dessert, delizioso e artigianale lo strudel caldo; sconsiglio invece il trancio alla frutta: la base aveva un impasto poco cotto e la panna era stucchevole. Buona la birra chiara; consiglio inoltre il tipico liquore di terrano!

26/05/2025: Excelente comida. Teníamos el pollo y la tagliata de ternera, ambos muy tiernos y cocinados por expertos. El vino de la casa era un delicioso merlot. Ambiente muy relajado y acogedor. Tenemos nuestro conserje del hotel para agradecer la recomendación, ya que desde la calle parece un bar de vinos. Está a dos cuadras del lugar donde atracan los cruceros, por lo que es muy céntrico.

09/03/2025: Como recomendó el conserje en nuestro (excelente) hotel en Trieste, esto fue acogedor, buena comida, super elección de vinos por copa y buena relación calidad-precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Tuvimos una comida variada y magníficamente ejecutada - el sarro de ternera y el pollo lento - cocinado eran ambos sobresalientes - y cuando el conserje del hotel y sus colegas llegaron para su almuerzo, entendimos su recomendación! No lo dudes.
