23/02/2025: I returned after a year, the pizza was good but I was dissatisfied with the price of a glass of sparkling Galera wine, which sold by the half liter costs 6.50, which I did then I took a glass (never mind the quantity) and they charged me 4.00 euros. NOT GOOD.
21/02/2025: There were 4 of us for lunch, excellent pizza but we were unhappy about one thing, we ordered half a liter of sparkling Galera, €6.50, then at the end of the meal, a glass of galera (also a negligible quantity) €4.00, there is something to review, dear managers, because some little things make the difference with others.

20/01/2025: Eine spontane Entdeckung, in der wir mit Glück noch zwei Plätze ergattert haben: Kleine Karte mit tollen Gerichten, schönen Weinen dazu und freundlichem Service - und vielen Stammgästen, wie man vielen Begrüßungen entnehmen konnte.
Wir haben den Abend genossen.
13/01/2025: Valentina dal Duchi ci porta a pranzo in questo vicino locale, che abbiamo già sperimentato in precedenza.
Gli amici sono entusiasti di Trieste (chi non lo è?) e quindi optiamo per un pranzo veloce, ma piacevole.
Buone proposte dal menù e seguendo i suggerimenti del personale ci riteniamo ampiamente soddisfatti, il “rosso 35”poi …una vera delizia! Un ottimo caffè e via in direzione Cavana 👋👋 alla prossima..

21/12/2024: Ristorante con piatti tipici del Carso oltre ad una robusta scelta di carne alle brace. Qualità veramente ottima e porzioni decisamente large: in due non abbiamo terminato i piatti e abbiamo portato a casa una cena completa per il figlio. Un antipasto (cotto col kren) due primi (gnocchi al sugo d’arrosto e un tris di assaggi) una lubianska alla brace e un roast beef alla griglia, contorni mezza di vino della casa acqua e caffè. 50 euro a testa: ripeto prezzo corretto x la qualità e la quantità.
03/11/2024: Forse la domenica a pranzo è meglio non andarci ,1 ora e mezza di attesa per iniziare a mangiare una di gnocchi di pane con del goulash che neanche mi sono piaciuti,chifeletti pessimi e altre portate varie che neanche mi ricordo più .

23/02/2025: Il bar è un po’ caro ma i dolci sono molto buoni, i caffè pure e il gelato di qualità.

07/02/2025: Siamo venuti a Opicina con il tram nel pomeriggio. Passeggiata in paese e sosta al Caffè Vatta. Buonissimi i gelati e la pasticceria, da provare!

12/09/2023: Everything is great about this restaurant that we visited several times, but always when visiting Trieste. If I had a dinner somewhere else, I would go for second dinner in Mascalzone.
I remember Rocco, the owner, who looks like Mancini, and the staff that was always on top level.
Nice, warm atmosphere and above all very tasty, simple food, prices normal.
Recommendation.
