17/07/2025: Varied menu featuring local products, all of excellent quality. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and efficient. The rooms are rustic but well-finished. They also have a lovely veranda in the summer. We've been customers for a while now and will continue to return...

02/07/2025: an exceptional little restaurant. I have been there many times and eaten almost all the dishes. At the top I put the meat (sliced) both for the excellent quality of the raw material and for the skill in cooking it. everything very good even the desserts and ... the icing on the cake .. their liqueurs that are offered at the end of the meal, spectacular the meloncello for my taste. Highly recommended, in fact mandatory to visit if you are in L'Aquila and surroundings

17/08/2025: Here at Locanda del Barone, you don't just dine; you have a FANTASTIC gastronomic experience! Stefano welcomed us to his restaurant with courtesy and kindness, and expertly and charmingly led us on a gastronomic journey through the flavors of Abruzzo. All the dishes we ordered were exquisite, from appetizers to desserts! The cuisine offered is traditional Abruzzo, reinterpreted with a modern twist. Appetizers and first courses have a perfect balance of flavors, the result of expertly blending the ingredients. The second courses (grilled cheese, sliced veal, and the "sacred" arrosticini) are cooked to perfection, and all of the highest quality. The desserts (pistachio parfait and lemon cheesecake) are exquisite and unparalleled in flavor, completing an unforgettable experience. All this was accompanied by a glass of excellent Cerasuolo, recommended by Stefano's experience and winemaking expertise. The attention to detail and the professionalism of the dining room staff (always smiling and helpful, thank you) were remarkable. An absolutely fair price for an evening of gastronomic bliss (and more).

25/05/2025: Very good Pinza with crunchy and light sourdough dough. Old fashioned prices in the sense that for 3 of us with beer and a small appetizer we spent 50 euros. I'll be back!!!

21/06/2025: The host was helpful and courteous, the food exquisite and the service impeccable. The scialatielli all'ortolana were excellent, as were the pappardelle with lamb ragù in bianco. The second courses were also good, lamb chops and sausage, the fried potatoes sublime. Finally, a nice slice of caprese to end on a high note. We will definitely be back.

21/06/2025: Today we had lunch at this trattoria. We ate pappardelle with white lamb ragù, sciallatielli with vegetables, grilled sausage, thin, soft and crunchy French fries and a portion of caprese with white wine and mineral water. All delicious.

24/07/2025: I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch, a restaurant I've known for some time. I was even more impressed by the current change in management. The owners are extremely courteous and kind, especially the lady, who is wonderful in every way. The dishes are tasty and meticulously crafted, especially the freshest fish, cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be back to try the desserts that the owner makes herself.... 110 out of 10!

03/08/2025: One of my favorite places for lunch, the owners' kindness and sweetness are truly unforgettable! The spaghetti with clams that Massimo prepares for me is second to none!

01/08/2025: We stopped for dinner without a reservation. Even though the place was full, we found a table inside. Outside, there were tables with a sea view. While we waited for our orders, they brought us bruschetta. We ordered the hot and cold Galliano appetizer. The appetizer consists of hot and cold fish, each served individually on a small plate or bowl. Good and plentiful. For the main course, we ordered fried calamari and shrimp, with French fries on the side. The fried food was excellent, and the portions were just right. A glass of sparkling white wine (Nicolino-Illuminati) was excellent. And to finish, a sorbet. The only downside was the timing of the courses. We were finishing the appetizer and the fried food arrived, and we also had to clear the empty plates from in front of us to let the fried food go. Otherwise, everything was fine. Average prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Remember to book.

19/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante spettacolare con una bellissima vista, se al tramonto ancor di più. La sala interna ha un affresco sul soffitto molto suggestivo. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti, gentili ( qualità non scontata al giorno d'oggi) e super professionali... ti senti quasi a casa!! I prodotti sono freschi, buonissimi e locali ( ad esempio le verdure sono le loro e la pasta viene fatta dal cuoco al momento). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!!

09/06/2025: Di passaggio a Vasto, abbiamo cenato in questo locale con terrazza vista Mare stupenda. Uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce in cui abbia mai mangiato, considerando il fatto che ho viaggiato molto in Italia e all’estero ..qualità sopraffina e ineguagliabile freschezza , sapiente preparazione e presentazione artistica dei piatti. Crudo di pesce superlativo .. Titolare molto preparato e simpaticissimo! Conto inaspettatamente basso in rapporto alla qualità dei prodotti Candidato ad una stella 💫 Michelin , senza ombra di dubbio! Torneremo senz’altro alla prossima occasione in zona!!👍

Personale molto gentile: ci hanno accolti nel loro ristorante ci hanno seguiti per tutto il pranzo spiegando molto bene ogni piatto, curando il tavolo e il servizio. Cibo di ottima qualità. Buono rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie alla nonna per il tiramisù

29/06/2025: AWFUL experience!!!!! Such antipathy and rudeness never had!!! 12 people plus 3 children and we simply asked to be placed outside given the temperatures, if possible! After asking over and over again the only answers were that they didn't know if it was possible or not.. in the end we had to choose another place (Brasserie de Brusselles which I highly recommend to anyone!!) because we felt really unwelcome!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! I think I can stop here because there would be much more to write!!!
