25/04/2026: A fantastic experience amidst the winding roads of Abruzzo. After a motorcycle ride through Guardiagrele, Casoli, the Verde River springs in Fara San Martino, Palena, Campo di Giove, and Pacentro, we crossed the San Leonardo Pass and stopped for lunch at Locanda del Barone in San Vittorino (descending just before Caramanico).
The restaurant is wonderful, with a beautifully landscaped outdoor garden, perfect for relaxing. Lunch was top-notch: on the owner's recommendation, we opted for three starters, all perfect. We then continued with superb handmade arrosticini and exceptional roast lamb. The dessert, a lemon tart, was also excellent.
The value for money is amazing, with the bill being decidedly modest considering the high quality of the dishes. We wanted to show our biker friends from Bari the best of Abruzzo, and thanks to this lunch, we achieved perfection. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Booking in advance is recommended.

We felt at ease... and the food was amazing. We tried different dishes on different days and loved everything.
The owners were kind and attentive.
Before leaving, we honored them with a goodbye song, because they deserved it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

14/04/2026: One of our favorite places, it doesn't disappoint! Sometimes it can take a little...long, but it's worth it. The meat-based first courses are excellent.

01/06/2026: A very beautiful place. It's decorated in a naturalistic style with wheat stalks on some parts of the roof. The food is very good, and the service is average. The waiters are friendly.
I gave it 4 stars because some pizzas and ingredients aren't available, and you have to wait 5 minutes to get your table as soon as you enter.
Otherwise, it's beautiful.
27/05/2026: Great place, great service, and the FOOD is the best PIZZA IN THE AREA. A must try.

09/05/2026: This place has made it to the top of my favorites. They have a huge selection of beers on tap, and all the ones I've tried have never disappointed. The quality is also evident in the food. I started with the sandwiches the first few times, which are large and packed with ingredients without getting boring. Excellent combinations. I know they make their own bread. I also tried the pizza, but not the sliced one. I chose the round one, which is really large, and I must say the dough was light, with excellent tomato sauce and delicious mozzarella. Plus, the spicy salami was salami, not ventricina del Chietino. It will be a regular stop for me. Well done everyone!

06/05/2026: A quick lunch on the way back from Pescara to Florence. Parking was no problem, but we were on a motorbike. The food was good, the guys were quick and friendly, and there's nothing better by the sea.
Arrosticini and vegetables were top notch.

01/03/2026: The daily menu was awful; the pasta was raw and tasteless, just like everything else. We ordered two reasonably priced first courses outside the menu.
The service was rushed; the gentleman who took our order wasn't very friendly.
We definitely won't be returning.
18/02/2026: Excellent food, very kind and helpful owner. Our dog was allowed in without a problem. Nice place.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera per una cena in famiglia. Ambiente raffinato e camerieri super professionali. Ma la cucina è il TOP ! Con il coperto, pagato ad un prezzo sotto la media, ci hanno offerto :
- ampissima selezione di panificati vari, a lievitazione naturale, dai gusti unici e ricercati
- ben 4 entree gourmet molto particolari e buonissime
- coccole finali ovvero dolcetti vari ( ma davvero tanti ! ) ricercati e particolari
Noi abbiamo preso l’antipasto di crudo per due. Abbondante e di ottima qualità, includeva 2 scampi e 2 gamberi, ricciola, tonno, seppie e due ostriche a testa
A seguire spaghetti alla chitarra con caviale e tortelli con cacio e pepe e ricci di mare.
Infine una grigliata del giorno deliziosa.
Consigliamo questo posto sia per la cucina ma anche per il prezzo pagato. Considerato quanto mangiato, sia in termini di qualità (soprattutto) che quantità, il prezzo pagato è assolutamente adeguato se non addirittura sotto la media. Noi in locali simili nel Nord-est Italia, senza la presenza di chef rinomati, paghiamo di più ! .
