31/10/2025: Absolutely incredible in every way! We turned up without a booking (rookie mistake) and we were fortunate enough to get their 1 free table! Book in advance so as not to be disappointed.
To start we had the sambusa and tamia veg with hummus and berbere - simply delicious.
For main we shared the enjera meat combo and it was just incredible.
Then, to help with digestion a herbal tea which tasted like Christmas in a cup!
This family run business is an absolute must in Bergamo! If we could give more than 5* then we absolutely would - exceptional.

The only downside is that you have to wait a bit.

19/10/2025: We found it by chance for Saturday lunch, while we were passing through Milan. The atmosphere was welcoming, as was the waiter who seated us. We opted for a full menu of meat and a vegetarian option (all prices are clearly displayed both inside and outside the restaurant). We had never tasted Eritrean cuisine before and were curious to try new flavors.
Everything was very good, and the service was quick, as there were only two tables occupied. Since it was a menu, we expected multiple courses, but it was served on a single plate, which still had a beautiful color scheme. Their traditional bread, which resembles a crepe, is used to eat the food, and they bring you unlimited amounts. A pleasant experience, and a very pleasant waiter who served us.

17/10/2025: I have been to many eritruan and Ethiopian restaurants in europe but this restaurant made me feel like i am home . Every dish they serve tastes fresh and original . With a fair price . The interior design of the restaurant gives a pure african vibe . Filled with a welcoming environment and hospitality.
10 minutes away from the central train station makes it ideal for a short visit during transit .
I highly recommend trying it out if you got the chance to come to milano .

24/09/2025: Perfect place, you're immediately greeted by the unmistakable smell of incense and home cooking.
A restaurant run by a mother and son. The mother in the dining room takes truly great care of the customers, serving us immediately and making us feel at ease.
The son, even when we booked, gave the impression of being a truly kind and thoughtful man, which he proved to be during a chat after dinner.
Delicious food and generous portions. I recommend coming very hungry.
My girlfriend and I will definitely be back.
Be patient when looking for parking, but it's worth it.

03/10/2025: I walked past this restaurant this afternoon and took a picture. I've been in Sicily more than a week and have been mainly dinning local slightly high end since I got here. Last night I paid €85 for two people with a bottle of wine but I was more impressed by my meal tonight. €7 and more than I could possibly eat. Highly recommend.

15/06/2025: Cozy and home-style restaurant. The absolute protagonist is the food, which is very tasty, with the right balance between side dishes, meat or vegetables (depending on the veg option or not) and sauce. What makes it all special is that YOU EAT WITH YOUR HANDS!
Another positive note: the owner and the staff serve everyone with a smile, which made it a pleasant experience.
I will definitely return several times😄

08/11/2025: We went because we had a gift certificate. But we were surprised by the beautiful setting and excellent service. The food was good and unique. They don't have a lot of choices, but they do have a vegetarian option.
We had a great time. In the end, they didn't accept our gift certificate either.

09/06/2025: Well, I started to drink a smoothie, the waiter poured me an African smoothie, I was surprised. I thought it was expensive, but I looked at it with my fingers. I saw the price list, the pussy is not even worth printing, no matter what you take, you pay the same for everything. The food is worse than from a school canteen. They don't hide the microwave at all. Otherwise, I don't remember the name of the soup, but it was a plague, I know why Africans starve, I would be hungry if I could eat it again. You're overestimating yourself, it's the only thing that even deserves it. I'll be honest, I thought I'd run after the smoothie, I didn't want to stoop to that level. I ate it, I was hungry, I went back to the kitchen, it was pretty similar to what I went in for. I usually come back for a baubau or when I'm told, but I don't hold it against you, I eat it at home

16/10/2025: As I have been going to so many Eritrean restaurants in Europe I can just tell you is was bad the 2 tipsi that we ordered was so bad that we could not eat it after all.,we told them the meat was was rotten we can smell it and the orner (I think he's name is Biniam . Not sure but with out say sorry or be nice to us he went inside and bought us linse. Like we are beggers I paid 35 for nothing.. But money was not my problem I was wondering if he would do the same act to European. Look at the Google rezension how many Africans wrote it was good?? becouse were I'm from you say sorry change the meat or going with out paying.. I just can say God help this man.. Aman
