03/05/2026: My girlfriend and I went for lunch and dinner. The staff is amazing; you can tell they put a lot of passion into it.
The food is also really good, perfectly spiced, flavorful, and fun to eat (since some dishes have to be eaten with your hands).
100% approved.
23/04/2026: My first time at an Eritrean restaurant, the experience was extremely positive. The food was very good, and the service was equally excellent. The owners were friendly and ready to offer advice on how to immerse yourself in a new culture.

07/05/2026: An evening with friends, we ate mostly meat, and the cooking/frying of the dishes was perfect. A plus for the service: there were 13 of us and the dishes arrived almost immediately. Plus, we were able to get seconds of eggs and chicken.
02/05/2026: Zighini with meat and vegetables, injera bread, mineral water and coffee, all delicious for twenty-seven euros.

13/05/2026: Everything was delicious. The owner treats you like a typical African mother, scolding you for having your phone on the table and then giving you ginger candies for your sore throat :)
Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly by her son in the kitchen: tasty and juicy meat, expertly prepared couscous, and fragrant, crunchy vegetables!
The desserts are from a pastry shop and are truly exceptional, try them!
I can't recommend them enough: the decor is very thoughtful and cute, even the glasses and goblets are beautiful. Try the ginger drinks for a new, slightly spicy flavor.
The hot sauce at the table is REALLY SPICY.
The dishes are generous and filling, and the prices are absolutely fair!

16/12/2025: In early 2023, I started eating at Dakar. I loved the flavor and tenderness of the meat. Unfortunately, this time, when I went out to eat after a long time, expecting a good meal, I was disappointed. The meat was very tough, like rubber. Not tender at all.
13/12/2025: We made a reservation (the place is small) and had a wonderful meal!
True Senegalese specialties, helped by the very kind waiter. Unique atmosphere, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
P.S. Don't ask for alcohol or other commercial drinks, just fruit juices and water!
Prices...very, very reasonable.

02/05/2026: This place is truly delightful, small but welcoming. The drawings on the walls alone warm your heart. The Eritrean cuisine is excellent and plentiful, making it a top choice for those who love African cuisine. Even the presentation of the dishes is decorative. I had the vegetarian sambusa and catagna appetizers, followed by the zighini di carne (both lamb and beef), both truly excellent. The Moscow mule was top-notch. The value for money is good, and the owner's friendliness and warmth make you feel at home. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: Some friends and I wanted to spend Valentine's Day dinner out. We had reservations at this restaurant, and when we arrived, the owner wouldn't let us in and told us he had to check our reservation. Something already seemed off, but then he pointed us to a restaurant further away, saying he'd moved us there. We'd booked one place and ended up eating at another... no way. The important thing isn't the conviviality and the desire to spend an evening with friends, but this is unacceptable behavior. They must have left our table to a couple!

17/04/2026: Four of us dined here to celebrate my daughter's birthday, as she'd been there before. The place was small, simple, but charming. The ladies serving us were very kind, and the food was truly delicious and plentiful. It was a shame that many dishes—including the Mafe—were already sold out by 9:00 PM, and the wait was truly exorbitant. We were seated at 9:00 PM, and the main courses arrived well after 10:30 PM.

Thanks for this discovery. It's been a while almost decade that I did not taste such a delicious Dibi (meat cooked in a specific way) Foreigners please try it you won't regret I promise.
