We took the mixed Eritrean menu and the food was absolutely delicious, also according to my friend, of Eritrean origin.
The atmosphere was very nice, also for the traditional table that makes the experience more immersive. Very kind staff.
We will be back soon

28/07/2025: A dive into Eritrea. We took the owner's advice and it was a great experience. We ordered this unique dish, a sort of piadina/waffle at the base, containing stewed meat, rice, and stewed vegetables. It was all very spicy, of course, but those who choose an ethnic restaurant certainly don't do so for a "flat" dish. The food was good, but the overall experience was excellent. The Eritrean beers were also a great idea, though perhaps a little chilled.

28/06/2025: A unique experience with Eritrean food, very good service, and a place with a certain nostalgia.
I came here because there's no food from that part of the world in my country, so I was curious to try something new, and I can say I was surprised by the flavor.
Injera, the traditional bread, is a bit sour, so eating it alone can be very difficult. They recommended I try it with traditional spicy meat, and the flavor was balanced a bit. For me, it wasn't really spicy enough, but it was delicious.
The experience is made by being able to eat the food with my hands, the way they explained it to me was traditional. The atmosphere is filled with handicrafts from the country.
The service was very good, from the cook and waiter.
Tip: Pair your meal with an Asmara beer, which they also bring from Eritrea.

03/04/2025: Sono anni che io e la mia compagna volevamo andare in questi ristorante, finalmente ieri sera ci siamo riusciti. Un sincero applauso al Sig. Giovanni davvero un ottima persona che ci ha elencato e consigliato le pietanze. Antipasto davvero abbondante e un piatto unico , da condividere con cibo speziato con carni e verdure e piadine tipiche. Al dolce sono andato personalmemte dalla cuoca a fargli i complimenti, mai mamgiati cosi buoni fatti al miele e al pistacchio.
Davvero andateci e nom sarete delusi!!!
19/03/2025: Siamo andati piu' volte sua per mangiare etiope, che per provare la cucina italiana, è la pizza. Tutto ottimo, il pesce cucinato alla perfezione dona emozioni con i sapori creati dalle ricette dello chef. La pizza sottile e ben condita cotta alla perfezione, la cucina etiope cucinata proprio dalla titolare del ristorante regala un viaggio di sapori grazie alle spezie che usa.

Personale di sala gentile e garbato.
Ottima la polenta con le spuntature e un dessert a base di mandarino.
Il tutto inserito in un contesto davvero armonioso.

07/10/2024: Gentilezza e disponibilità delle persone sono il punto forte. Per il resto mi dispiace direi che la proposta è molto carente. Essere una Onlus ristorante nn esonera a garantire i servizi minimi. 20 E per un menù completo forse sono pochi ma lo era anche il cibo, stante poi aggiungere acqua, vino, dolce a parte. Proporre delle attività economiche come Onlus, richiede un "reale" progetto di inserimento delle persone che lo portano avanti e che desiderano offrire un servizio. Pertanto direi che anche partendo dal livello essenziale dei servizi della ristorazione, del tipo poche cose ma ben fatte e nella giusta quantità , ma quel po va garantito. Buon lavoro.
