01/04/2025: They charged us €30 for two cone ice creams, to take away. I realized the price because I looked on the card machine at what they had charged me. Because they didn't tell me the price before charging me nor did they show me the dataphone. The dataphone was facing the saleswoman. It seemed like a theft to me, no notable quality that will provide added value to the high price of the ice cream. The person who charged me was quite stupid when he saw my surprised face at such a scam.

05/09/2024: Lunch today, just us and another table (which however had already finished). We order two plates of spaghetti with clams, a plate of plain pasta, a bottle of natural water, a glass of wine (on tap). Definitely a long wait since there was no other table to serve, but that's it. Final bill: 58 euros. Something doesn't add up. I'm waiting for the receipt to check. I pay but the receipt is not given to me, so I specifically ask for it and it is issued. Four plates of spaghetti with clams are marked instead of two. Given the error, the difference is refunded to me. No minimal apology for the mistake, nothing at all. I obviously want to believe in the good faith of whoever served me (a girl who didn't seem very happy doing her job), the fact is that I've been in the area for two days and it's the third time I've come across small or not so small errors, but inevitably all of them to the detriment of my pocket! For the record: the spaghetti with clams was good. Furthermore, on the menu it was marked 'cover and bread 2 euros': never received the bread. Moral of the story: if I had only asked for the receipt I would not have received it, if I hadn't checked I would have lost 22 euros

13/09/2024: We were in this place in August, we had seen it quickly during the evening walk and it gave us a good impression, we were perhaps one of the first groups (3 couples), but despite this, I have never seen 4 out of 6 cocktails served worse than the ones served. Mojito without cane sugar, very bitter and without the sweet part, pinacolada sent back because it was completely watered down and tasteless (it tasted like coconut milk), Kaipirissima where there was a lot of rum and stop, Maitai just passable and another simple school-based non-alcoholic cocktail. Maybe it was a bad evening but apart from the very nice venue and the good service, the €48 was the worst spent of the whole holiday. I hope it was an oversight but too many trivial errors. I noticed that others have also commented negatively on the establishment, and for the bar the owner tries to respond on the web (even to myself) trying to make people look like they are incompetent, but at 56 years old, my dear, I don't need any vent on the web, I say what I think, money is earned and therefore when you spend it badly and you have no services it is right to complain and judge. Contrary to what the owner replied, we took two of the cocktails back to the bar to have them tasted and they were barely smelt (even smelled as if taste lies in smell), but they didn't make them again from scratch as I think you should do when you make a mistake, they just rolled them up and had them brought back with an even worse result. Not to exaggerate, the other two people drank them even though they were far from good and they didn't let me take them back otherwise I would have done so. I can say that in three years we have been to the Lighthouse at least 7/8 times without ever having anything to say, only that they are better.

02/01/2025: Unfortunately at New Year's Eve dinner, I reluctantly have to give a terrible review!!! Upon our arrival, the place was not heated, terrible food, we uncorked the bottles at midnight, when we were still on the first course, terrible organisation, all for 100 euros per person!!! Not recommended to anyone!!!!

10/09/2024: La location meriterebbe 5 stelle. Il prezzo alla fine é onesto per quello che si offre. Panini così cosi la cucina non l' abbiamo provata ma essendo a fine stagione non avevano molto da poter scegliere. Questo posto ha un potenziale enorme ma é gestito molto male. In quattro giorni mai un sorriso soprattutto dalla ragazza dietro al bancone, scocciata per qualsiasi cosa. Infastidita se gli chiedi da bere, se chiedi la chiave del bagno e pure se vuoi pagare. Se paghi con carta o bancomat poi non ne parliamo sbuffa che é una meraviglia. Sono fortunati perché hanno un sacco di turisti durante il periodo estivo se fossero stati in un paesino o in un piccolo centro avrebbero già chiuso. Consiglio? Cambiare mestiere con la gente non ci sapete proprio fare🫂

10/09/2024: Posto carino, in riva al mare, qualità prezzo buona..... Peccato per la ragazza che lavora al bancone...... svogliata, maleducata, senza modo..... assolutamente inadatta per lavorare a contatto con la gente, su quattro giorni che siamo stati lì, tre è riuscita a litigare con i clienti e lamentarsi di loro.... abbastanza gentile quando vai a pagare (naturalmente)....ma anche lì non troppo ....state attenti a usare le carte, storcono il naso (e non parlo di pochi euro, sia chiaro), preferiscono i contanti........ sicuramente noi in futuro cercheremo un'altra spiaggia, a costo di fare più chilometri......

26/01/2025: Unfortunately, the many negative reviews are well founded. About a month ago, by pure chance, I got some takeaway pizzas which turned out to be really good and well made. With enthusiasm I ordered days ago, always takeaway, 2 pizzas and surprise... completely different and almost inedible. completely rejected

Ambienti interni arredati con gusto pur nel segno della semplicità , tavoli con l’apparecchio essenziale , tovagliato di tessuto bianco , decoro un po’ dappertutto ( composizione floreale sui tavoli ) , servizio puntuale ed efficiente , cordialità a modo …. Per quanto riguarda l’aspetto prettamente culinario , si è optato per un : Antipasto di Mazzarelle Teramane ( involtini di interiora di agnello 🐑 ) , una mega - porzione di “ Spaghetti alla chitarra con le pallottine di carne “ , una piccola selezione di carne 🍖 alla brace ( salsiccia - agnello - costine di maiale ) , contorni di Cicoria selvatica ripassata in padella e patate al forno . Il tutto irrorato da una bottiglia di vino 🍷 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo della Cantina Nicodemi di Notaresco ( TE ) . Per dolce 🍰 abbiamo assaggiato la classica “ Pizzadolce Teramana “ ( vds. foto ) : la torta casalinga di un tempo ! Caffè ☕️ ed amaro “ Genziana “ a chiudere …. Grazie …. PASQUA’ !!

12/03/2025: I've been to eat in this restaurant a couple of times, both times I ate the fried food and I really liked it..... So I'm giving it four full stars... I'm sorry that I wasn't able to taste the first courses or any other fish dishes.... well, it'll be for next time..... However, in my opinion, if you're in the vicinity, take a trip and eat something at the Trattoria dei Saraceni.....
