13/07/2025: A very nice place located in the charming village of Tortoreto Alto. I had been here eight years ago, but the prices have obviously changed a lot since then. The quality of the food is truly excellent. The service on Friday evening was very fast, even though the place wasn't busy. The only negative is the portion sizes. €12 for a rather meager selection of cheeses is a bit too much. The dessert portions were also typically northern Italian. In any case, we had read the prices beforehand and weren't surprised, although we expected fair portions for all courses.

13/07/2025: Locale in pietra nella periferia del borgo alto di Tortoreto. Personale attento. Coratella e formaggi per antipasto, gnocchi con sugo di agnello fantastici, pecora e grigliata mista: carni eccellenti e cucinate con grande perizia! Buonissime! Conto onesto. Ci torneremo sicuramente

03/08/2025: Ottimo ristorante, con piatti tipici della cucina abruzzese. Pasta fresca fatta in casa divina servita con gustosi condimenti. Antipasti top e dolci divini, si consiglia la torta locale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Presenza in loco del titolare gentile e cortese, personale molto attento alle esigenze del cliente che viene consigliato e coccolato.

26/07/2025: Siamo stati io e la mia compagna per cena. Siamo stati accolti molto gentilmente e siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo, il menù è su QR code quindi si salva la carta, abbiamo optato per i cremini e formaggio fritto come antipasti. Buoni ma il pezzo forte è stato il polpo alla brace sui crema di patate con pomodorini...una cosa pazzesca da provare assolutamente.I prezzi sono in linea con la qualità del cibo e del servizio, se siete in zona vale un'assaggio!!!

17/07/2025: Questo è il servizio peggiore del mondo. Infatti bisogna aspettare il mangiare almeno 45 minuti. Quando ci sono stato i piatti arrivavano in momenti diversi e le verdure sono arrivate quando avevamo finito alla fine. Inoltre per prendere le ordininazioni c’è solo una persona e la maggior parte del personale girovaga per la sala perciò anche per ordinare bisogna aspettare molto. Io vi consiglio di andare in questo ristorante solo se avete tempo da perdere.

08/08/2025: The welcome and service were professional. The pasta was excellent, and the white wine paired perfectly. Bread with olive oil was served upon arrival, and Cantucci was included with the bill, very reasonable.

11/05/2025: Day to do again! Gastronomic experience where the tradition and culture of the place meets the warmth of a family-run environment...taste buds more than satisfied. If it is true that a good morning starts in the morning, this is one of those cases... right from the appetizers, in fact, we have traveled the first stretch of a real sensorial journey that ranges between the gastronomic excellences of the area, passing through the Chitarrina alla Teramana, ravioli and fresh meat from our pastures. The service also proved to be an excellent note of this day, waiters always ready to satisfy your every need with great professionalism and empathy. I will definitely be back very soon ❤️

17/03/2025: Hi, first time in this restaurant, I had a great time, I recommend it to everyone, the food is very good, I suggest the fried cheese as a starter, the first, an excellent boscaiola to finish, a mixed roast, 27 euros per person for a total of 87 euros, fantastic!!!!!

26/07/2025: My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and four days and had a wonderful time. The hotel is in an excellent location, allowing you to reach famous towns such as Campo Imperatore, Prati di Tivo, and more within half an hour. The hotel is family-run and has comfortable rooms with large bathrooms, air conditioning, and TVs. We booked half-board, and every evening dinner was excellent and plentiful, including drinks, featuring typical Abruzzo cuisine. Breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. A special thanks to Giorgia and her mother for their courtesy and kindness. Highly recommended.

25/06/2025: In Mezza pensione siamo stati benissimo le camere pulite è la struttura è rinnovata al ristorante le porzioni sono abbondant, i l ambiente è familiare.

03/06/2025: Pleasant place, courteous service but unacceptable waiting times. “Bistro” gastronomic proposal, correct in quantity and variety. Unfortunately the cutting board, quite varied, arrived with cold cuts and cheeses that “sweated” because of the heat, the first was decent but the “pinsa” was a brick, very heavy dough. Interesting selection of wines, especially local ones. Overall feeling: the idea is there, but with too much room for improvement. Probably the dining room runs at a different speed than the kitchen.

03/06/2025: We ordered takeaway, staying nearby and invited by the affordable prices and the nice place.. we had already used the cafeteria and dessert service the day before, we decided for lunch the next day to use them for two first courses to take away. Seeing them served on the spot they seemed succulent, instead takeaway, once opened to eat them, my son's spaghetti with clams were dry, overcooked and all broken.. my scampi risotto was a dry brick all stuck together with the scampi that also had a bad smell.. so much so that we both had to take lactic ferments for stomach problems. Too bad because the staff is very kind and even offered me cutlery from the place to borrow, but takeaway was a disappointment!
