02/01/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at this wine bar and we can't say enough about it! The starters were a real treat and of high quality. The meat was equally exceptional, simply exceptional, tasty and very tender. The owner was really kind and made us feel at home. Not only did he advise us on dishes and wines with great expertise, but he also had the beautiful gesture of offering us dessert. Hospitality that made our lunch even more special. The location is welcoming and well looked after, reminiscent of typical mountain huts! We highly recommend this wine shop to anyone who wants to enjoy quality dishes and have a truly unforgettable gastronomic experience.

08/02/2025: Nice and very large restaurant. We ate a grilled Florentine for two... really excellent and very tender with a side dish of very good baked potatoes accompanied by a really good house red wine recommended by the restaurateur. Highly recommended place!!!

08/02/2025: We went to eat yesterday, Fabio welcomed us like gentlemen, and made us order... a superlative menu, so much so that I really didn't know what to start with. We ordered grilled meat, kebabs, pasta and wine…. We ate and I could only think of five things: Incredible, everything exquisite, superlative, done to perfection. Not to mention the prices, which are amazing... If you lived here, you could have lunch, dinner, breakfast, aperitif and snack... Toppppppppp🚂🚂

11/02/2025: We booked for 7.45pm and showed up on time with an empty place. We had to ask for drinks to be brought to us and in the meantime other customers entered. After the 4th order they took from people who came in later, we asked them to take our order too. This perhaps annoyed the blonde lady, I presume the owner, as she was walking around in slippers (crocs) who took the order and when asked the second question about the ingredients she replied in an annoyed tone "it's a ham pizza" that's what it's called! Too bad that the ham pizza was different on the menu and the question was legitimate. The laughter when we see that we didn't leave even a penny of tip makes us understand that you didn't care, but it's the polite way to make you understand that the service isn't up to par with the worst tavern.

09/02/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant in Roccaraso enjoying typical dishes from the mountain area. The menu is in line with expectations. The quality of the dishes was normal as were the portions. The location is beautiful. The service was not impeccable perhaps due to the position of our table. We often had to show up to get the attention of the staff in the room but otherwise they were always very helpful. Too bad I paid €3 for 0.75cl of filtered water. They don't make kebabs for lunch 😭

06/02/2025: Friendly staff, excellent choice on the menu, dishes with quality raw materials and cooked to perfection! Courtesy, quality, wonderful view, absolutely honest price, definitely worth repeating even in summer!

28/01/2025: Nice rustic refuge, large fireplace to warm up while sipping a good wine or hot chocolate, moderate prices. The large outdoor space is good for kids to play in the snow.

08/12/2024: Abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante, consigliato da amici, ma purtroppo l'esperienza non è stata all'altezza delle aspettative. Ho optato per una pizza che si è rivelata deludente, paragonabile più a una piadina che a una pizza vera e propria, senza infamia né lode. Anche le porzioni di formaggi erano piuttosto misere ,i prezzi in compenso abbastanza contenuti, ma la cucina merita sicuramente un miglioramento. Le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini erano scialbe e la carne poco gustosa, fortunatamente il personale di sala era cortese e il locale era ben organizzato e pulito. Sarà anche soggettivo il gusto ma al tavolo eravamo in 7 e ognuno di noi non è rimasto contento .

17/01/2025: La nostra esperienza al ristorante La Staffa di Roccaraso è stata decisamente deludente. Appena entrati, siamo stati accolti da un ambiente gelido, sia in termini di temperatura che di ospitalità. Il nostro tavolo era situato proprio davanti alla porta, con una corrente d’aria costante. Alla richiesta di poterci spostare verso uno dei tavoli liberi vicino alla stufa – dove peraltro era comodamente seduta la proprietaria – ci è stato risposto un secco no, non una ma ben due volte. Siamo stati costretti a pranzare con i giubbotti addosso, seduti su sedie letteralmente ghiacciate. Nonostante il freddo, abbiamo cercato di concentrarci sul cibo, ma purtroppo anche questo si è rivelato una delusione. Lo gnocco che abbiamo ordinato era completamente slegato: la scamorza e la pancetta sembravano ingredienti casualmente accostati senza alcuna armonia. L’esperienza è stata talmente negativa che abbiamo deciso di rinunciare anche al dessert, un momento che solitamente salva il pranzo in un locale deludente. Purtroppo, non possiamo che sconsigliare questo ristorante, dove l’attenzione per i clienti sembra essere l’ultima delle priorità.

02/02/2025: Siamo stati al ristorante con amici. Il personale è gentile ed il servizio molto veloce. Lavorano a pranzo su due turni anche se quando siamo stati noi non c'era molta clientela. Locale molto conosciuto è anche hotel. Abbiamo assaggiato vari piatti. Primi buoni ma non eccezionali. Molto buona la carne. Dolci nella norma, ma con una buona varietà. Nel complesso una piacevole esperienza.

19/01/2025: Bella la struttura con un bel camino centrale I prezzi non sono da agriturismo , gentili le cameriere meno il proprietario Poco collaborativo e che insisteva sull’impossibilità in 6 di dividere due antipasti misti ( che costano 22/23 euro ciascuno ) Gli antipasti alla fine sono addirittura rimasti Nessun piatto particolarmente indimenticabile Dolce da dimenticare e a mio avviso bindi
