07/05/2025: Already the sign, with this beautiful name, “Terrae Madre”, instantly captures you as soon as you arrive in Pietrasecca. Then you enter, and it seems like you're crossing the threshold of a house, with that very "village" door, in front of which you feel like knocking and asking permission. Despite the refined appearance of the place, you immediately understand that you find yourself in a genuine environment, surrounded by quality wines and homemade jams and compotes, like everything you will taste, bread, pasta, desserts, vegetables from the garden with an unmistakable flavour. The atmosphere that is created and that the owner Luigi himself helps to create, makes you feel as if all the guests belonged to one family. The attention also paid to the children (two were present during our dinner, one of which was our 1 and a half year old daughter) was exemplary. The food and cocktails, mixed perfectly, are a triumph for the palate. Crunchy and tasty bread, vegetables with a strong flavour, juicy and delicious meat that melts in your mouth. Desserts with a unique flavour. Believe me when I tell you that the Crème Caramel had a freshness, consistency and deliciousness that I had never tried before. We can't wait to return to the country to relive this experience of purity and delicacy.

The pasta is still hand-rolled by the owner and the portions are huge ‼️ Excellent cuisine, kind staff, availability for reservations even whatsapp. Now they have moved a little further and the location is larger and more beautiful. Highly recommended ‼️

The guys were kind, professional and attentive to all our needs. The same goes for the owner who satisfied all our requests and even more. To be done again

31/05/2025: Il servizio impreciso e sbrigativo, buono solo il pane e le fettuccine all'abbruzzese. La chitarrina ai funghi porcini non era fatta a mano e sapeva solo di un cattivo olio, bistecca spacciata per cotta alla brace. Ho chiesto verdure grigliate e mi hanno portato cicoria (non presente nel menù) coriacea e condita con pessimo olio. Coperto 3.50 € spropositato per il servizio ricevuto. Prezzo totale troppo alto.

30/05/2025: Lathe biosas potrebbe esser indicazione appropriata per chi - alla luce degli insegnamenti di Epicuro - elegga una vita priva di apparenza e piena di sostanza per recarsi al ristorante abruzzese a Carsoli, non a caso “Angolo di Abruzzo” che della sostanza rappresenta il paradigma, mentre l’angolo da il senso del rifiuto del proscenio. Ma questa riflessione, benché vera, non rende l’emozione che nella sostanza trova fonte: dovete arrivare in leggero anticipo per controllare che l’antica catena di approvvigionamento provveda alla bisogna. Vedrete allora gli ultimi raccoglitori della montagna portare Orapi indimenticabili, cantarelli selezionati, porcini tumidi, genziana introvabile: tutti frutto di fatica ad alta quota di gente con il senso del campo. Esperienza unica, culturale e culinaria, patrimonio immateriale dell’Unesco.

25/05/2025: Passeggiando per Carsoli, ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante. Leggermente nascosto, ma all' interno molto carino, personale cortese e cibo molto buono e di qualità. Prezzi contenuti. Torneremo con piacere.
