22/01/2025: Every time I'm in the area or passing through I MUST stop at this establishment. It's true that the hotel isn't the most modern, but in 6 years I've never found anything out of place. Always spotless, with excellent services and the restaurant is the icing on the cake. A simple and simply delicious cuisine. The restaurant service deserves 6 stars, unfortunately the maximum is 5... Keep it up!! :)

08/01/2025: We didn’t stay at the hotel but just stopped for lunch on our way to Rome. A friend recommended this restaurant and it was a welcomed recommendation. The food is excellent as well as the service. This was our first time to try this place but it won’t be our last. Can highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was tasty.

18/12/2024: Very nice place, excellent quality food, very rich starter consisting of raw ham, three types of salami, grilled peppers, grilled courgettes, truffled peaches, chickpeas, liver, cheeses, a fried pizza, a fried dinzucchiann flower, among the desserts I preferred the biscuits and chocolate chip donuts that are served with coffee.

28/01/2025: I have never tasted such good fettuccine, the artichokes with which they were seasoned were delicacy and had an excellent flavour. Everything is local and you can feel it. It reminded me of cooking when I was little, the authenticity of a Sunday lunch.

23/12/2024: We immediately liked the place, rustic but well-kept, at the same time elegant and with character, in a small charming village in the Abruzzo Apennines. We had come looking for kebabs, which my children are fond of, but the menu led us to add some local proposals which were much appreciated, in particular the appetizers and vegetables. Among the desserts I mention their millefeuille proposal. Above all we appreciated the excellent, competent and attentive service. Beautiful evening. A reference to return to whenever we return to Abruzzo.

03/08/2024: Having heard and read the numerous positive reviews about this pastry shop I was curious to try a cake...So on the occasion of my son's birthday I decided to have a fruit tart with custard made...definitely fresh cream and fruit... But unfortunately the pastry had split in one corner, perhaps due to too many ingredients on top or the thinness of the base... upon opening the box I was honestly a little disappointed, I had to bring the broken piece closer to the rest of the cake... We could have done better... overall good and fresh!!!

21/07/2024: Per il primo compleanno di nostro figlio, abbiamo fatto preparare la torta a tema giungla, semplicemente stupenda! Oltre ad essere bellissima, era di una bontà indescrivibile: il pan di spagna soffice e delicatissimo, la crema chantilly con la frutta fresca meravigliosa e poi le decorazioni ci hanno lasciato senza parole.

16/12/2024: Erano più di tre anni che (fortunatamente) non andavo in questo ristorante ma questa volta ero ospite. Una delusione! Un primo piatto con pochissimo condimento. Sono stato tentato di chiamare la cameriera e farglielo notare ma, poi, pensando che il condimento era nascosto sotto le pappardelle ho cominciato a girarle con la forchetta.m ma sotto non c'era niente e, francamente ancheil sapore della salsa non era di mio gusto. L'agnello scottadito buono ma imisero in .quanto a carne. Non ci tornerò più neanche come ospite.

20/01/2025: I ate really well at the Caminetto and I went back twice, the home-made service and all the dishes I tried were really excellent, having the TV on isn't pleasant but it can be okay given the type of restaurant. But where is the fireplace?

17/01/2025: Al Caminetto is a typical Abruzzo restaurant, in the same place and with the same owners for dozens of years. This, in itself, would be enough to stop you. If that wasn't enough I can say that it stands out for the authenticity of the products, always local and from highly selected suppliers, the innate hospitality of the managers, the care and particular attention to customer requests, a cellar with verticals for all budgets and last but not least, impeccable sanitation. Absolutely worth trying are the appetizers, meat of any cut and kind, cheeses, tomatoes, polenta or first courses in general and the homemade desserts. Price absolutely normal for a quality stop in a family environment.

07/01/2025: Guida Michelin ma de che! Crede di essere Cannavacciuolo. I prezzi sono esagerati oltre ogni limite. La Michelin per me è da togliere non è all'altezza. Si pranza con molto meno e con il piacere in bocca. Ci siamo alzati dal tavolo amareggiati. Epifania rovinata. Piatti serviti dopo un'ora e 20 dallordine e nemmeno tutti insieme. Abbiamo dovuto attendere le altre portate mentre la pasta si incollava. Prosciutto esagerato nel prezzo tagliato a scaglie nemmeno fino. Anche altri clienti si sono lamentati e indignati. Se questa è ristorazione eccellente come si paventano, tanti auguri. Io non ci metterò più piede, e invito altri clienti a valutare a fondo il tutto per non farsi prendere in giro.
