24/10/2024: Convenient to reach, on the Marrucina provincial road, on the right coming from Ortona and immediately before the old Sangritana station in Caldari, the restaurant has a modern layout with well-distributed tables equipped with excellent linen. On the right as you enter there is the local bar while on the left is the dining room with large tables to serve yourself at a buffet with all sorts of goodies where there is no shortage of fish or meat based dishes. The first courses are also good but, given the abundance of options, I suggest avoiding them. The owner, an open-minded person, goes out of his way to make customers feel at ease. In my case, it saved me from making a bad impression on my guests because I had left my wallet containing money, cards and documents at home. The owner, understanding my embarrassment, waited for me, giving me the opportunity to return home and return to settle the bill just before closing for lunch, thanks also to one of my guests who drove my car when I couldn't due to lack of a driving license. If you want to be on the safe side, have lunch in the CANADIAN RESTAURANT, you won't be disappointed.

05/09/2024: Di rientro dalle ferie ci siamo fermati due giorni a San Vito Chietino e la sera ci siamo recati a Ortona per un boccone, fermati quasi per caso presso questo ristorante, ci ha colpito la struttura, una villa antica in pietra con due grandi giardini, una bella sorpresa, pizza buonissima e frittura di pesce abbondante e di qualità. Titolare gentilissimo come tutto il resto del personale, ma la cosa più bella e' la location un vero gioiello davanti all'imponente castello di Ortona. Prezzi ottimi in rapporto alla qualita del cibo, professionalita' e livello del locale. Consigliatissimo!

The frozen yogurt is delicious, so much so that my sister and I go to Ortona just to eat it. the only problem is that the place is often closed and so you have to call to find out if it is open. For the rest, nothing to say. we love chicken frozen yogurt❤️

24/08/2024: Quiet place that smells of the 90s, with a small gazebo for eating in the open air (even if it is close to the road but with little traffic) I found it to be a simple but direct choice. For the first experience I liked it a lot. To return.

02/12/2024: Prenotato da Fabrizio, siamo arrivati in perfetto orario subito dopo la scelta del tavolo siamo stati serviti dal beverage. Alla comanda ravioli di ricotta e spinaci oltre a sua maestà la Carbonara. Eccellente di una eccezionalità unica Carbonara fatta con tutti i crismi! Mi sono sentito Romano! Come secondi due tagliate accompagnate con broccoli ripassati e verdura già condita. Il tutto con il vessillo due ottimi dolci. Rapporto qualità Prezzo nella media. Ciao Diego

16/10/2024: Her blev vi godt modtaget og fik en super service. Vi lejede solsenge og spiste frokost og det var en rigtig god oplevelse. Servitricen var fra Polen og var meget serviceorienteret. Dejlig mad og her kommer vi gerne igen.

22/02/2025: Una cena a Villa Fania da non tornare più. Quando la titolare non c'è,le dipendenti ballano purtroppo. Io allergica alle proteine del latte e altri alimenti. Mi hanno servito piatti con affettati e burro. Una vergogna. Avevo chiesto delle verdure grigliate per l'antipasto e mi è stato servito un piatto di insalata mista che compri a Eurospin. La pasta invece era dura e piena di funghi che avevano il sapore di uova. Il secondo: due mini pezzi di maiale con zucchine forse grigliate e tagliate a pezzetti. Io lavoro nella ristorazione ed è una vergogna vedere e ricevere un servizio del genere. Mai più.

04/01/2025: I celebrated my birthday here and it was organized down to the smallest details. She asked me the color, mine is blue, and I found the flowers, balloons, lights,... All blue. The impeccable staff and the superlative food. Finally, the owner is truly a fantastic person. I highly recommend this location!

17/09/2024: Very simple location, practically on the beach. Fast service. Few dishes, simple and delicious. We went in mid September for a quick lunch with the last rays of sun and it was perfect. In 50 minutes we managed to leave and enjoy the sea view. Very good and honest. To try and try again.

07/01/2025: Nothing to say about the sandwiches, they are delicious like sandwiches. Among the best in Mestre.. Of course the prices are high... unlike other bars. But the quality is excellent. The location too, but there are some buts. Like many other users, I also have to admit that kindness and friendliness certainly don't reign there. I've tried several times and over the years I see that it doesn't change. Already the fact that a bar with sandwiches and aperitifs, in the middle of Piazza Ferretto, because we are 2 minutes away on foot, starts cleaning frantically at 6pm and wants you to "scoar out" no ghe semo... it's the boom time for the aperitif. . They also have a theater nearby I mean.. I don't know. Other times I find it really closed... evidently they will be able to afford this! I'm always a little perplexed to see that from the afternoon to aperitif time they have nothing left... they've run out of everything. Once I asked the guy what time I should come to get sandwiches, and I was told: at noon.. So they only work in that range? It always gives me the idea that they can't wait for you to pay and leave.. But what if one day people no longer go? Then what do they do? Do they cry? .. I think that's the basis of this job, The ABC... friendliness, kindness and a smile. Knowing how to treat people. Of course it wouldn't hurt... Oh I forgot, the times entered here are not correct. I found it open on Saturdays and other times not. And it's not true that they close at 4pm, but at 6.30-7pm.. I see that they do as they want... there are no real timetables that they follow. Last year, between the Sinner match on TV and something happening at the same time at the Toniolo, where all the people had just left, at 7.30pm they were still open and making sandwiches... it was full of people inside.
