28/03/2026: I can't recommend this family-run restaurant in the heart of Ortona, housed in a historic building. We loved the service, the hospitality (which even extended to our two four-legged "beasts"), and the excellent food, both for the quality of the ingredients and the original, impeccable execution: everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the amaro, strictly local and artisanal. Special mention for: smoked tuna prosciutto and winter melon with orange oil; octopus and arugula soppressata; gnocchi with white bluefish ragù and crusco peppers; seafood chitarra pasta; and fish soup (the likes of which are hard to find these days). The wine selection and typical local dry desserts were also excellent. A ♥️ place.

You have to try it to understand; there are no adjectives capable of describing the quality and deliciousness of the various cuts offered by Mr. Dino.
What can I say...chapeau!!!
07/05/2026: The meat was excellent, although I personally would prefer it to be brought pre-cooked to the table rather than using the lava stone, which creates a smoke worthy of the best fogs in the Po Valley. The service was okay, the young man was very friendly, the other a little less so. The price was too high, also because they don't weigh the amount of meat requested in front of the customer, so everything is done a bit by eye.

23/11/2025: A truly wonderful restaurant. Lovely waitresses/chefs. We felt very welcome and received excellent, expert advice. Fantastic focaccia. Fabulous regional wines. Fair value for money.
16/11/2025: A quick stop for a "chicchetto" (ratafià and gentian). Excellent, we'll definitely be back to try the food accompanied by wine (there are many, and all excellent). And then the kindness of the owner, especially given the hour, made us feel at ease. A short but intense stop, see you soon and thank you.

I've never eaten such a varied barbecue... in my area the fish are always super sad and instead here they were super joyful... thanks to Alberto, Fatima, Jonathan, Terry and all the staff for having pampered us in an amazing way. 23/08/2025: Authentic ingredients with interesting combinations, we really enjoyed the burgers. The service was a shame; the waiter disappeared after the first course, but we would have happily opted for dessert.
