Delicate and exquisite food, impeccable hospitality and service and a particular location even if not very large. We will certainly return to taste the specialties of this restaurant. Highly recommended.

30/09/2024: Usually the restaurants near the place to visit, in this case the Sanctuary of San Gabriele, do not offer impeccable quality. The Gran Sasso Restaurant deserves all the praise possible. Well looked after and clean, the owner is affable, funny and competent. All the dishes offered are quality and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

26/01/2025: My family and I went to the flag restaurant to celebrate my daughter's move. Fabulous location and location overlooking the Majella I chose the sea and countryside menu with seasonal products. The food is high quality and skillfully plated. 5 stars and praise for the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Prologue 2020, recommended by the maitre. Full-bodied and fragrant. I could not give 5 stars to the service due to small things certainly due to the sold out tables but which a starred person must pay attention to: water poured by oneself even though the waitresses were quite attentive and explanatory and due to an oversight of the Maitre Despite my report of intolerance to a dish, I still received this one. And the replacement with the 100*100 carrot dish had been hastily prepared; so the carrot was crispy, unfortunately it wasn't. Another recommendation is for the very high quality lamb but that for mine personal taste I found it raw. I haven't stayed but I give 5 stars on trust. The flag is definitely recommended

15/01/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant - every dish was a real delight. The appetizer: the "Neptune's boat", was rich and varied, with a special mention for the prawns with cuttlefish ink, really good. The first courses are excellent: the Pythagorean carbonara, the gnocchi with tuna and pistachio, the busiata with shrimp and bacon etc., each characterized by the right balance of flavours. The desserts were equally good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and relaxing, ideal for a quiet lunch. The staff is courteous and professional. The price is adequate with the quality of food and service. A lunch I highly recommend.

10/01/2025: In pieno centro a Crotone, si sta comodi al tavolo. Pesce ottimamente cucinato,con ricette anche particolari. Personale gentile, prezzi corretti per ciò che si mangia. Cosa voler di più?

18/01/2025: I don't have much to say, except that this place is always a guarantee! I chose the tasting menu with a whole series of courses that really impressed me, especially the cube of cabbage with cod. During the evening I also asked the owner of the restaurant for a particular wine whose name or type I couldn't remember, based only on the flavour: she worked hard all evening to look for something similar, even letting me taste a glass of that free wine. I will come back again

08/02/2025: If you are looking for a place to enjoy very fresh fish, the farmhouse is a guarantee. The quality of the fish is truly superior, each dish is an explosion of freshness and flavour. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to suggest the best pairing. I recommend the raw and first courses. A safe choice for every lover of seafood cuisine and not just because there is a huge choice of meat!

12/01/2025: Always an excellence, I have always been never disappointed. Excellent restaurant that continues culinary traditions but at the same time renews itself with unique dishes, quality food and impeccable service. It also offers its entire menu gluten-free, even the au gratin or stuffed pasta, not like other restaurants that simply eliminate them and make you always eat the same thing.

16/02/2025: Ho festeggiato la comunione di entrambi i miei figli. Ci torniamo sia per festeggiare eventi sia per ritagliarci qualche ora di tranquillità. Contesto accogliente e piatti curati nella qualità. Mariasole è pronta ad accogliere le vostre richieste. Tutto ottimo.

09/02/2025: Servizio mediocre con tempi di attesa lunghissimi. Agnello in molte parti CRUDO. Pappardelle al cinghiale con sugo acquoso (tra l’altro noi avevamo ordinato un altro primo). Ziti alla Genovese buoni, ma in porzioni piccolissime. In più al tavolo affianco hanno servito verdura cotta e a noi è stato riferito che non c’era. Esperienza che non rifarei!! Peccato perché la location ha buone potenzialità.

23/09/2024: The service was absolutely incredible. We got the surprise and all of the selections were nothing short of amazing. Everyone on the staff is extremely welcoming, informative, and friendly. They even gave us olive oil as we left!

06/01/2025: Everything perfect. Warm welcome, impeccable and fast service. Excellent raw materials enhanced with expert and well-tested preparations. The motto that you read upon entering "you do what you know and you know what you do" is absolutely true and produces a cuisine that is down to earth but of the highest level. Price more than honest in relation to the overall experience. Keep it up.

15/12/2024: Nice place. I was very happy to be there but I really don’t know what happened, because i couldn’t sleep after dinner. My husband didn’t have any problems! This is my experience and mine only, that said, if you ask me if I still recommend this restaurant, the answer is yes. They’re friendly, and from what I could see they have repeated customers, which is always a positive point. I’m editing my previous review because I don’t think I expressed myself well enough. It’s not my intention to hurt any good business. I just wanted to shed a light on what happened to me!

05/01/2025: We had dinner at the restaurant on the evening of 03/01. We called to say we would be late due to a delay, but they were extremely understanding and kind. The town is enchanting, the structure has been carefully renovated maintaining harmony with the territory, into which it integrates perfectly. The staff is very attentive, precise and friendly. Even considering the excellent premises, the food still manages to stand out and amaze, this is the real note of praise: the menu is varied and refined and all the dishes we consumed were truly excellent from all points of view (taste, quality of the ingredients prime, presentation). Adequate portions (with two courses we were more than full, but we continued out of greed and curiosity). Not to be overlooked, the prices are accessible to all budgets: 4 place settings, 1 starter, 2 first courses, 4 second courses, 4 desserts, wine (€30), water, coffee and liqueurs, all for €138. In my opinion it deserves the podium among the top 3 best restaurants in the province.

08/12/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at Le Vele restaurant and I must say that it was an excellent experience! The fish is truly extraordinary: very fresh and of the highest quality. Every dish, from presentation to taste, reflects incredible care and passion. The menu offers a varied and refined selection, perfect both for those who love classic seafood cuisine and for those who want to experiment with something more creative. The staff is courteous, attentive and always available to recommend the perfect wine or dish for every palate. If you are a fish lover and are looking for a place where quality is at the center of everything, Le Vele is a must.
