12/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, slightly above-average prices, with thoughtful furnishings and architecture to welcome guests into an elegant cave-style setting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, while the menu offers interesting choices, both modern and traditional. The quality of the cuisine is good, perhaps a little on the "meager" side when it comes to appetizers (€15 for the cured meats appetizer, but it was a plate with very few slices for that price). The first courses were excellent (the tagliolini with cocoa are noteworthy: exceptional!), while the second courses were very well prepared, but perhaps a little on the small side (aside from the numerous fibrous/tough parts of the sirloin). All in all, an excellent restaurant, with a vast and interesting wine selection featuring labels closely tied to the local area, and a good culinary experience: well worth the detour. Tip for waiters: sometimes you can't be heard when you describe the dishes!

22/08/2025: The restaurant is located on the Crotone seafront, a perfect location. Mr. Ercole is an exceptional host. We ate a wealth of local raw delicacies that I'd never tasted before, truly delicious. The raw ingredients were exceptional.

21/08/2025: Quality and generosity…even for my four-legged friend, and a few extra cuddles for the baby at the table. Professional and very attentive staff. The owner?!…a true host, he gave us a cookbook and an octopus salad to take back to our camper, keeping the memory of Ercole's cuisine alive. A place where people's hard work and the value of a handshake are appreciated.

21/08/2025: It's absolutely worth sharing our wonderful experience at this osteria. We stumbled upon it by chance while looking for a place to dine in Scalea. We couldn't find a table the first night, but we managed to reserve a table for the following evening. We opted for the eight-course tasting menu because we were intrigued by the dishes offered, and so we had the opportunity to sample several options. In addition to the magnificent cuisine, which combines local delicacies with the chef's creativity, special mention goes to the ladies who served us. Despite the dining room being full, they were friendly and professional, explaining the dishes and wines on the menu with a smile and a touch of humor. I hope to return soon, and if you're in the Scalea area, I highly recommend trying it.

14/08/2025: Wonderful, little restaurants like this are rare. High quality, knowledgeable and friendly wait staff, reasonable prices. There's no better place in Scalea for this gourmet experience!

07/09/2025: Everything was perfect. The price was above average (€60 per person for a first course, second course, and dessert), but it was justified for the quality of the food; all the dishes we tried were excellent. The atmosphere was very well-kept and clean, as were the bathrooms. The service was very attentive and courteous. If you're in the area, you absolutely have to eat here! The pasta allacorte d'assise is definitely recommended.

07/09/2025: What can I say? A fairytale place. We were there for a wedding. Excellent quality food and in huge quantities. The layout was well-organized to avoid long lines given the number of people. The first and second courses were served seated in another area, followed by a cake cutting and a huge buffet of excellent desserts. The setting, entirely outdoors, in our case, was stunning. Lots of very helpful staff.

11/07/2025: One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Of course the views are unbeatable and the food is amazing, but the staff really made our sunset dinner unforgettable. They were so helpful and kind, even taking photos of us with the sunset in the background. The rooftop bar is perhaps the most beautiful I've ever seen and was a fantastic way to finish the evening. It's not just a meal; it's an experience.

01/09/2025: I went to eat here with my boyfriend because we were passing through Benevento. The food was stellar; we tried the €45 tasting menu. The staff was extremely kind and courteous. The place is very comfortable, simple yet quaint. We left more than satisfied. We'll definitely be back.

24/07/2025: We had a family lunch. The place wasn't too crowded and was surrounded by greenery. The food was all excellent, and the service was even better. There was a misunderstanding about an incorrect dish, but the staff were kind and helpful, leaving us the wrong dish and then bringing us the correct one. The prices are perhaps slightly higher than other places in the area, but the quality and attention to detail certainly justify the expense.

29/08/2025: A mid-August dinner featuring excellent raw fish and sublime shrimp tempura. The restaurant is located practically on the beach. Service is fast and friendly. The staff always have a smile on their faces despite the heat and the busy schedule. The wine list is impressive. It's easy to find the perfect bottle. Essentially, it's traditional seafood cuisine, but impeccably executed! It's worth a visit to delve deeper into the menu.
