04/05/2025: We just went there for a communion. Really excellent gourmet dishes, quality of the ingredients and really beautiful presentation.. the veal cheek simply spectacular.. again really compliments to the chef.. compliments also to all the kind and attentive staff, it was an excellent service.. what else can I say.. you have to go.. as a guest I can't help you on the prices unfortunately, but it's still worth going..
10/04/2025: The location is wonderful. The environment is welcoming and refined. A gluten-free menu is also available upon request. Although the restaurant is not part of the AIC circuit, the staff is particularly attentive to contamination. I also recommend this place to people with celiac disease!

07/05/2025: Il locale è accogliente e moderno, con qualche scivolata di gusto nell’arredo. Peccato, perché tutto il resto è eccellente. Il personale è giovane, preparato e molto gentile. La cucina è tradizionale ma alleggerita da note innovative e rispetta pienamente le più alte aspettative, senza scadere nel “ricerchismo” artefatto ed esasperato. Una nota di merito particolare per la carta dei vini, non eccessiva, ma solida e per la competenza del sommelier, giovane e molto appassionato. Ben rappresentato il territorio con materie prime di eccellenza e i migliori vini. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero eccellente. Merita assolutamente la visita

10/04/2025: Un posto di rara qualità . Se siete alla ricerca di un posto che fonda alla perfezione tutto ciò che possa rendere unico un pranzo in famiglia o con amici è la scelta migliore .
Altissima qualità delle materie prime , piatti di una bontà assoluta,,presentazione attenta ed impeccabile , servizio eccellente ed un ambiente familiare e curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Consiglio vivamente di lasciar un posto per i dolci , da vera pasticceria.
Vale la pena andarci anche se non siete di zona . Noi ci partiamo da Roma e in un’ora e mezza siamo lì .

07/05/2025: Torniamo volentieri alla Bandiera, qualità nei piatti, nel sevizio, per l'ampia soddisfazione. Scegliamo sempre la degustazione, per apprezzare tutti i sapori degli abbinamenti negli ottimi ingredienti che lo chef realizza. In questo caso, 'mare e campagna'. Non mi dilungo nelle descrizioni, ma accenno solo a verdura (dell'orto di Bruna) studiata e lavorata, piacevole, gustosa e sorprendente; o una tartare con una rivotica di orzo, speciale. Lista vini completa, con la difficoltà di scegliere, ma si può chiedere consiglio.
29/04/2025: Uno de los mejores restaurantes de los Abruzos. Buena comida, buen ambiente. Excelente servicio, con un personal muy amable y servicial. Una visita obligada mientras estás en la zona. Comida muy creativa, bien pensada. También buena relación calidad-precio comida y bebidas. Muy recomendable.

Da Ercole

03/05/2025: Mi avevano presentato questo posto in modo eccezionale, ma sicuramente il risultato finale non è stato brillante.
Cena di lavoro, hanno sbagliato a prendere l'ordinazione, ma può capitare, ho mangiato un antipasto ed un primo. Buoni ma non hanno rispecchiato le mie attese. Alla fine siamo usciti con un conto salato
25/04/2025: My dearest childhood friends took me to celebrate my SIXTY BIRTHDAY, in a seafood restaurant in Crotone, called Ercole, from the name of the owner.
A little legend: Ercole from the Greek “Eraclea” means “Glory of Hera”. Hera was the beautiful wife of Zeus and represented the “ideal woman”. Like the restaurant “da Ercole”, from now on, it will be my “ideal seafood restaurant”.
I don’t like raw food (Le crude delizie di pesce) but smelling their seafood scent, I couldn’t resist trying them: whoever ordered them was simply enthusiastic.
I love cooked food, and after last night my love has increased enormously. I can’t name them all because there were so many and so many: La barca di Nettuno, a true masterpiece; Ricciola rolls with shrimp and rocket; tuna rolls with pistachios and breadcrumbs; Gratin caldo; Zuppettina del giorno etc.
First courses:
Tubettini “Fantasia di mare” with seafood (simply wonderful: it looks like the pasta our grandmothers used to make… heavenly); Pythagorean carbonara, with Papotula, grey mullet eggs and sea bass. (PAPOTULA: in the Crotone area they call the “white musdea” also known as the mother of cod: a poor but extraordinary and tasty fish). Dear Ercole, I would change its name: calling it carbonara is very REDUCTIVE.
Desserts:
very good ice cream, tiramisu without mascarpone but with chantilly cream and pavesini made on the spot (I, like Saint Thomas, tasted it to feel the crunchiness of the biscuits: just unwrapped!).
Finally my beloved millefoglie with chantilly cream. I don’t really like chocolate on top and I asked to garnish it with berries. The divine mille-feuille… very small flaw: I would put less juice, it makes everything too sweet!!! But superb overall.
The high bill!!!
But those who do not want to eat defrosted and/or farmed fish know that they have to “PAY THE RIGHT PRICE”.
For the wine, having revealed our preference for rosé, we were recommended an ALMA RISA (Gaglioppo) from the “Russo & Longo” winery: excellent choice.
The chef and owner Ercole, was a discreet and constant presence throughout the dinner in recommending each individual dish.
The waiter Antonio, a little shy but very kind. The waiter Riccardo, on the other hand, pampered us with “loving sympathy” throughout the evening.
The gem at the end: Ercole, once he knew my love for SEA URCHINS” (Inspector Montalbano passed on this passion to me)… he kindly and affectionately showed me around (no CHEF does that… and I hadn’t even told him that I’m a “Google Local Guide Reviewer level 6”) their kitchen where a chef was opening and cleaning the SEA URCHINS. A beautiful memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life: thank you Ercole.

04/05/2025: Fantastische avond beleefd! In de eerste plaats het allerbeste eten (we kozen voor het gastronomische beleving - 8 gangen met bijpassende drankjes). De topbediening; ondanks de drukte steeds super vriendelijk. Prijs-kwaliteit absoluut top.

09/04/2025: Scelta perfetta! Dopo una prima sera a cena, siamo ritornati a pranzo. La proprietaria Mariasole gentilissima e disponibile, come del resto utto lo staff. Servizio impeccabile nonostante fosse una domenica ed il ristorante era pieno. Gli antipasti, i primi piatti ed i secondi, tutti buonissimi : alta qualità dei prodotti e sapienza nel cucinarli. il prezzo assolutamente giusto rispetto alla qualità dei prodotti portati in tavola. Siamo stati davvero molto bene e lo consiglio vivamente. Bravi!!!

23/09/2024: The service was absolutely incredible. We got the surprise and all of the selections were nothing short of amazing. Everyone on the staff is extremely welcoming, informative, and friendly. They even gave us olive oil as we left!

Excellent dishes, evocative and elegant venue, with breathtaking views of the Ansanto valley, located within the village of Rocca San Felice.

Ristorante Le Vele

03/05/2025: Attentive and present atmosphere and service. Just the right amount of time between the various courses without ever making you wait too long despite the many covers and the fact that we decided to take a second course for 2 only after the first courses. Adequate bill. Starters: raw according to the market excellent especially for the 2 scampi. Tartare nothing memorable especially the salmon one. If it were not for the accompanying sauces that push the flavors perhaps the only flaw of the dinner was the fact that the tartares were too thin and compact and also perhaps too cold (the amberjack and shrimp ones were good) .. quadrucci as an entree truly superlative. Tortelli with prawns, mantis shrimps and squid battina dish that makes the restaurant give 5 out of 5. Pasta grossa with chickpeas, mantis shrimps and clams excellent even if the aroma of the chickpeas prevails a lot over the fish (perhaps too much) to reward the fact of including a leftover dish in the menu. Amberjack fillets with crispy spinach and pineapple and ginger sauce truly well balanced and successful dish! Also excellent was the cannolo and panna cotta with passion fruit to accompany the final coffee. Overall a successful dinner without a shadow of a doubt.
