10/08/2026: Located just outside the walls of the charming village of Bucchianico. Refined atmosphere, elegant maise plase, professional welcome. The menu is unconventional and in keeping with the local tradition. The dishes are beautifully presented, including the cacio e pepe risotto, which is divine, and the ingredients are top-quality. The wine list is well-curated and quite comprehensive.

Dinner was a culinary journey through the authentic flavors of the region, with dishes expertly prepared using the highest-quality local ingredients. The chef flawlessly combined tradition and innovation. The room was comfortable and elegant, ensuring a restful sleep in a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast in the morning perfectly complemented the stay, offering a wide selection of sweet and savory delicacies, all fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, helping make the stay even more enjoyable. In conclusion, La Bandiera offers a top-notch gastronomic and hospitality experience, perfectly representing the best that Abruzzo has to offer. 13/07/2026: The service is good, the calm atmosphere on the terrace is pleasant, but the food doesn't really live up to French culinary expectations. The enormous slice of tuna is served practically raw, without sauce or any side dish, and the pistachio crust is unfortunately reminiscent of our breaded fish: no more flavor. Perhaps our choices weren't the right ones, or our French tastes were simply different. It's a shame because it's expensive for Italy.

25/07/2026: My favorite restaurant in Scalea! I come here a couple of times every year on vacation to try almost the entire menu! Highly recommended. Special mention for the service: always fast and courteous. The staff is truly knowledgeable.

13/07/2026: We dined here last Sunday and in a few words, just dine here! The service was impeccable without being stuffy or pretentious. They were very friendly and didn’t seem to mind our giddiness. The views were beautiful. We were there for sunset. Loved the bar cart with cocktails made practically table side. I am upset I can’t remember the lady who was the assistant sommelier, but she was wonderful. I am only guessing (poor memory) but maybe Luciana? Wanted to call out her service in particular. We selected the seafood tasting with the Volcano wine pairing. Our entire experience was fantastic. The amuse bouche was a lovely ricotta topped with a crispy goodness and a Parmesan gnocchi that just delighted the tastebuds. The tasting included an octopus salad, a risotto and sea bass topped with zucchini - it was cooked to perfection and the flavors were so delicious. Each wine paired so well with each course. We particularly enjoyed one of the dessert wines. It was just a memorable evening. We can’t wait to come back.

28/07/2026: This restaurant allows you to dine with your feet in the sand, with a carefully set table, quality food, and simple presentation. I recommend surprising yourself with the desserts. Entrée and à la carte included.
