05/06/2025: We went here 2 nights in a row because 1) it was in our hotel and 2) it was very good. The pasta with mushrooms and sausage was great and so was the beef cheeks with mashed potatoes, affogato for dessert - delicious! That was our 1st night. 2nd night was tagliatelle with bolognese and the hamburger. No dessert - too full! The wine was good too - and I have to mention the bread! Best in Italy so far and we’ve been here eating out for 2 weeks so far! The service is great too! Alex is a gem! He is very nice and patient with us foreigners!

20/08/2024: Magnifique cuisine italienne de qualité et d'une finesse. ..je viens à Malcesine depuis 10 ans et c'est l'endroit où j'ai le mieux lange parole de Française et de gourmande ...le service est impeccable et d'une gentillesse très classieuse ...

19/12/2024: Super Bar für ein schnelles Frühstück während man auf den Bus wartet. Super cornetti mit Schoko- und Marmeladenfüllung und guter Kaffee.

28/07/2025: What a great restaurant, plenty of choice on the menu, pasta, pizza, fish, meat dishes etc, all cooked superbly. Restaurant staff and the owner (who is there every day) are friendly and attentive, and the setting right on the lakeside is perfect. We ate here 8 nights out of 10, it’s that good! Situated adjacent to the Excelsior Bay Hotel, about 10 mins stroll along the lakeside from town. Highly recommended.

24/07/2025: Sehr, sehr gutes Essen, fantastischer Blick, netter Service! Wir hatten die besten Nudeln in unserem Garda-See-Urlaub. So stellt man sich italienisches Essen vor, nicht der typische Touri-Fraß.

10/08/2024: Pessimo servizio e più di 7 euro per 2 caffè e un’acqua. Da evitare certamente, fermatevi al bar prima, non ci siamo stati ma sarà comunque meglio

02/06/2025: I have worked and visited Malcesine for many years, so foolishly decided to have drinks at Al Porto. Mistake rude disinterested staff who insist on cash payment umm. Far better options available, this place gives the town bad impression.

24/07/2025: Pagato 8 euro per una brioches e cappuccino e acqua Un cappuccino € 3.50 eccessivo, acqua avevo chiesto solo bicchiere (talvolta gratis) e mi ha risposto che aveva solo acqua bottiglietta. Brioches riscaldata (non chiesto)

04/06/2025: Cafe Art is in a small attractive square in the old town. I had a quick bruschetta lunch here, and the tomatoes were freshly chopped, nicely flavoured with herbs and a trace of garlic. Service was friendly. It was a pleasant light lunch, nothing exceptional - but the square had a nice ambience and service was fine.

19/09/2023: It was a good price and quick eat which is what this place is. Around €11 for 2 slices and a coke which I don’t think is to bad.

28/08/2023: Il ristorante è all'interno della Marina Fraglia Vela di Malcesine; sono solo 4 km dal centro di Malcesine, percorribili anche in bicicletta tramite la ciclabile e vale assolutamente la pena farli per cenare in questo ristorante. Prenotiamo fronte lago e la vista su Limone è strepitosa. Splendido il benvenuto che ci viene offerto, sono attenzioni che si apprezzano sempre. In 4 ordiniamo 1 carpaccio di pesce spada con pompelmo rosa, buono. Poi Paccheri al pomodoro fresco, code di gambero e zucchine, spaghetti ai frutti di mare, un filetto di orata alla piastra con verdure ed infine un pollo al curry con riso basmati e verdure, tutti i 4 piatti molto buoni. Con 2 birre medie, 2 bottiglie d'acqua, 1/2 litro di vino ed un amaro, abbiamo speso 114,00 euro. Personale attento, preciso. Noi torneremo ancora

26/04/2025: Appena comprato, il costosissimo gelato, duro, poggiato male su un cono molto fragile, è immediatamente crollato a terra, davanti agli occhi della gelataio che ha pure ammesso spontaneamente che non era colpa nostra, ma del cono! Nonostante ciò, ci ha fatto di nuovo pagare 4 euro per riaverne un altro (questa volta per sicurezza abbiamo preso una coppetta). Detto questo, gelato costoso e di bassa qualità
