04/07/2025: Portogruaro was our half way stop for lunch and I had found Alla Barchessa - down an ally beside a little canal. A lovely, probably family run, Osteria, specialising in seafood, as most of them here are. I had Homemade Tagliolini pasta with seafood - it was the best - and I could have eaten 2 bowls of it easily! And the old man had a steak! I ask you - in a seafood restaurant - he can be so embarrasing! Nevertheless he did pronounce it Perfetto !! The food was perfection and authenticly served with warmth from the family. The location is delightful, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and it's calming atmosphere was perfect for us to enjoy in the middle of our traveling day. This is definitely worth a visit as the relaxation and calmness comes for free! Thank you for having us.

15/06/2025: Emanuele and his team quickly and professionally served us three delicious pizzas: the Sapri, Calabria, and Tropea were all delicious. We particularly appreciated the fact that the different types of olives were already pitted. The sun-ripened tomatoes and Tropea onions created a harmonious flavor experience on the thin, crispy pizza crust. Despite the heat and the large number of guests, the waitresses were friendly and patient. Thank you for the lovely evening at La Brace!

16/07/2025: Alla Tosca ti accoglie il gentilissimo proprietario sempre sorridente e attento a metterti a tuo agio in ogni situazione. Il menu vario cambia con frequentemente e non è mai banale ma sempre ricercato e ottimo nella presentazione nei sapori e nella sperimentazione di nuovi abbinamenti. Ottima e ricercata anche la cantina dei vini. Il posto perfetto per una cena a lume di candela, un incontro di lavoro e anche per un semplice aperitivo in compagnia.

26/05/2025: Cibo davvero buono, tartare di tonno spaziale e anche gli spaghetti molto buoni. Secondo me i primi piatti sono un po’ troppo costosi trattandosi di pasta (20 euro) però comunque buono

06/07/2025: I don't understand who could have written a good review when we refused two courses out of four with my Venetian mother horrified by the color and taste of the cod, which the owner also wanted to make us pay for. Embarrassing situation with my mother, bad experience. ANSWER: I was with my mother and my partner, it's been a while, but I wanted to reiterate the review especially for the disrespectful attitude he had towards us and there are three of us who can testify to it.

04/07/2025: Mandatory Pit Stop when entering Italy! A kind of sanctuary, we always stop at the entrance and exit (sometimes not because we took the closing day. The pizza is made by hand with excellent quality ingredients and the standard is always the same (which is difficult these days since one time you eat well in one place and the next time not!) This time it was even better given the Horrible pizza I ordered in Targu Mures (and which I forgot to write a negative review about. I had been very happy in Alba, pizza made by a Romanian pizza chef with years of schooling done in Italy while in Targu Mureș, from an Italian restaurant, I got ripped off. I will go down to Tuscany and I don't think I will be able to find better than the excellent pizzeria in Portogruaro.

11/06/2025: I have often dined here being attached to my gym. Chicken good but unfortunately it happened that sometimes it was not well cooked excellent choice of dishes, good in club sandwich and all the sauces. Waitresses very kind and smiling.

12/04/2025: The restaurant is a bit off the road but totally worth visinting since the food is super delicious. It looked suspicious from outside (we went there during night) but interior is just fine with friendly service staff. They didn't have tiramisu at the time thou, 4 stars is only because of that.
