28/05/2025: The first time I had some Armani velvet trousers enlarged: excellent result, done by the Chinese lady. I return to enlarge other black velvet trousers: a lady rushes in, praising her ability: she irons velvet!!! Disaster. Wearable but only if I cover them at the waist. Wanting to support the cooperative, I bring 4 trousers again: UNFORTUNATELY the very zealous and self-praising lady immediately picks up the new ones, bang, cuts (complicated hem!!), and I pray she knows what she's doing. BUT NO! I return to pick up the trousers: three pairs well made, perhaps by the kind and professional Chinese lady, and the new ones instead RUINED with a crooked hem of 0.5-1cm, very visible. The zealous lady says it took her 2 hours and instead of apologizing in front of the evidence of the measurement, she explains how much effort she had and how good she is… she says I can not pay. I would actually like not to pay her, given the rudeness (if you make a mistake, just apologize). Not only that, but she also threw away the leftovers (which are always useful), blaming me for not having asked for them immediately. Well, I pay because I know that I help (I hope) people who need it more than me, but unfortunately the esteem for the place has diminished. Too bad.
