02/06/2024: Este lugar tiene un certificado halal, pero VENDE CERDO! NOT HALAL. . . . . ¡Cuidado! + Venden jamón, etc. Dijeron que algunos objetos son halal... pero todos están colocados uno al lado del otro.

28/12/2023: Good morning, let me start by saying that I have been going to this ice cream shop for years when I come to Venice and I have always enjoyed it, however, yesterday, I was very disappointed. I ordered a bubble tea as I usually do, this time lemon flavour, and it was very poor, so much so that it had a powder inside which, I suppose, chemically gave the tea its flavour. I didn't like it and I regret it since the previous ones with mango flavor were good. Maybe… Another VERY negative point concerns payment. It is not possible, as well as illegal, for the POS not to be accepted with the excuse that the machine is not working (other reviews also report the same modus operandi of the order if you wanted to pay by card). Finally, making tax receipts is an obligation, not an optional: there was never a shadow of it. Unforgettable…

17/08/2024: I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and even hosted dinner parties there in the past, because of its delicious food, but this summer was unexpectedly and exceptionally awful. All my food had almost zero taste, and I had to constantly ask for salt which was in heavy rotation at other tables! From my starter, which was a raw tuna dish, to my main which was a kind of”sea bass” from the region and artichokes. I also wanted a pasta but they refused to do half portion which is not unusual in Italy. I was still hungry and decided to see if it was just the fish that was bad on this particular visit, and wanted to relive my previous memories of really delicious food so I ordered a pasta which was sadly also so tasteless so much so that I had to ask my neighboring table for the salt as my pasta was getting cold. The only upside is I befriended my neighboring table (turns out we had two mutual friends!) and we commiserated on the exceptionally bland and tasteless food which is not what you expect at the hidden but expensive Corte Sconta. They also said had been coming for a few years from Switzerland and they said their food was also so bad and they wouldn’t come back again. They told me a funny saying that when a chef is in love, he puts salt in his dishes. And when they are depressed, then put none. They wondered if the chef was going through a divorce! It was supposed to be a highlight of my visit but I had a sore disappointment!

13/07/2024: Les serveurs et serveuses étaient extrêmement sympathiques et professionnels. Les conseils pour le vin étaient également bon. Cependant la qualité des repas n était pas au rendez vous . Nous avons opté pour un menu et celui ci était très décevant , pas cuisiné. De plus nous avons été malade toute la nuit suite à une mauvaise gestion de la chaîne du froid ( notre carpaccio de thon rouge est arrivé tiède ) . Nous n étions pas les seuls à être déçus, à côté une personne a renvoyé son plat .

07/10/2024: Le cadre est assez agréable et le restaurant dispose d'une belle terrasse. Le service est correct. La cuisine n'est pas exceptionnelle mais on ne mange pas trop mal et les portions sont assez copieuses. Le rapport qualité/prix est moyen.

28/08/2024: Bel luogo dove mangiare anche al aperto, molto grande con piccola area giochi per i più piccoli. Cibo un po' da rivedere, galletto piccante buono, molto saporito, anche la grigliata mista se non fosse per il fatto che il pollo non era fresco, arrivati al osso sapeva da acido, sia di gusto sia per l'odore spiacevole. Avvisata la cameriera che è andata a riferire, ci siamo alzati per andare a pagare quando la figlia della proprietaria stava discutendo con la dipendente dandoci quasi la colpa di ciò che è successo finché non si è accorta che eravamo proprio noi al banco. Sarebbe stato più carino chiederci piuttosto l'accaduto e scusarsi. Per questo motivo non ci torneremo più.

16/02/2025: Ci siamo ripromessi di tornare qui e quale meglio occasione se non per San Valentino ! Una riconferma per qualità, servizio e ottima cucina . Per noi questo è un locale al TOP!

12/02/2025: Ottimo locale per cene in solitaria o accompagnati, bellissima atmosfera accompagnata da personale educato e preparato, con nota di merito per il caposala e la barista. Il menù è a prevalenza di pesce, ma anche gli amanti della carne troveranno di che sfamarsi. Degna di nota la selezione di vini, consigliato.

12/06/2024: Crispy and thin pizza, well seasoned but with not too fresh rocket. Rustic atmosphere and basic service. Excellent for informal dinners

19/08/2024: Grande maleducazione del proprietario del bar che, mentre tentavamo di capire guardando la sfornita vetrinetta del locale cosa prendere, ci è comparso alle spalle e con fare aggressivo ci ha chiesto cosa stessimo cercando...evidentemente i turisti non sono graditi. Ho preso un pessimo caffè e sono andato via alla svelta. Per fortuna la magnifica città di Venezia ha molti professionisti dell'accoglienza turistica che con gentilezza e savoir faire, rendono la permanenza nella città lagunare molto piacevole. Ma qui evidentemente, nel baretto della fermata Redentore del traghetto alla Giudecca, è tutt'altra cosa.
