10/11/2025: The restaurant isn't very large, but it's well-maintained. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is good quality, and the presentation on pans covered with pizza dough is beautiful. There's also a good idea for making puccia, which, given the deliciousness of the dish, is a must. The first courses are usually for two people. The fish-based second courses and pizzas (which I haven't eaten but have seen served) are very inviting and I assume very good. Reservations are essential (in advance if possible), as it's always very busy. We'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: Finally, a place that cares about kids! Entertainment is provided on the lower level, and we parents can enjoy a bit of relaxation. I was expecting an osteria, but I found myself in a restaurant setting at osteria prices. You can feel the attention to detail, and I personally love it. The dishes are top-quality and the staff are attentive. The result? My son wants to come back, and so do I! They're very talented and intelligent in creating a service so different from others.

06/11/2025: It's an absurd place. You'd expect a place like this in South America. A place from another era. The concept of taking children or teenagers into the woods to an amusement park without any electricity is poetic, to say the least. Less poetic is the level of safety of the ingenious and handcrafted attractions. As for drinks, we always stopped for a drink, so I can't comment on the food and service. It's still a pleasant place to sip something under the poplar trees. The little ones' enjoyment requires careful parental supervision.

03/11/2025: A place where you can eat outdoors, sheltered by a canopy. Typical Venetian trattoria food. Fair prices. The plus is the playground for children of all ages, completely unpowered (that's true sustainability!), powered solely by muscle power and gravity. Kids love it; there are so many rides... even when it's crowded (always), there's always something available. All this nestled in a beautiful forest atop Montello... Kudos to the genius behind it all.

02/12/2025: The pizza is good, with generous portions and quality ingredients. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is very refined, both inside and out. Prices are reasonable, considering the consistently fresh and seasonal ingredients. It's a shame it's only open in the evenings, and on the rare occasions when they change hours and open for lunch, the pizzeria is still closed and only the kitchen is available.

11/10/2025: It felt like I was in my beloved Bolzano, even though it's just a few kilometers from Venice. The owners are very kind, and the typical Tyrolean food is very good. The prices are decidedly low for the quality of the dishes. I recommend it.

12/10/2025: We had dinner at this trattoria with friends; the food seemed average, meaning some things were pleasant (gnocchi with duck ragù and wild boar with polenta and mushrooms were very good), while others were so-so (skewered meat and colt steak). However, the service was courteous and attentive, and the price was fair for the type of restaurant. We'll visit again to see if it wasn't a perfect evening. Thanks to the staff.

31/08/2025: We decided to stop for a snack on Sunday afternoon. The cold cuts platter was delicious, and the food was fresh. I'll definitely be back.

10/07/2025: Montello has taught me many things this year. Among these things, it has taught me not to look at the surface and to wait. People are as you see them, and above all, they love their work, which they carry forward with dignity. The two brothers who run everything here with their family are an example of this. They don't pay attention to external trends but prefer to provide genuine, simple products to their customers, among whom are especially the Montello workers but also numerous cyclists who appreciate the little garden with its evergreen tree and wisteria pergola. I always have a "breakfast brunch/breakfast snack"—coupling coffee, juice, and cured meats: —it could be a sandwich, a toasted sandwich, or a cicchetto! Now that I've gotten used to the taste of these local cured meats, I can't eat cured meats anywhere else! They're truly delicious, and that's coming from someone who doesn't eat many cured meats... A good prosecco and a good red wine, or a spritz of your choice... Come and...wait for the bells to ring 12 "La Canzone della Piave"! After that, the bar usually closes and reopens in the afternoon :) A choice that ensures people respect local customs and then appreciate the countless walks in the surrounding area, perhaps with a historical eye...

19/10/2025: A place stuck in the past, circa the 1980s. A large room that can accommodate a large number of customers, but unfortunately the place is dull and cold, lacking atmosphere. The pizza is good, but nothing special.

20/08/2025: Very good and easy-to-digest pizzas (special dough with a blend of flours), with fresh ingredients and an excellent variety of dessert pizzas, too. The Pedavena Speciale beer is superb. The flatbread pizzas are fantastic, very large but not too thin. Da Gianni is always a guarantee.
