18/10/2025: A place stuck in the 80s... old-fashioned... noisy... chaotic.

07/09/2025: I waited over an hour for a pizza, but mostly because some tables that arrived significantly later were served first. The explanation was first that they had two different ovens and my order was served in the slowest one, then that there was no pizza chef and the place was congested. Furthermore, the pizza was decidedly mediocre; the whole wheat pizza tasted like an undercooked piadina. I'm sorry, but I'm not satisfied, considering I also paid 2.20 for the service charge. I definitely recommend revisiting this place.

20/09/2025: Well, I'll start by saying that I come to this place often. The problem is that when there are a lot of people, they don't come out, they forget to come and take the order. The food is made quickly and loses its quality, which in other cases is good.

21/05/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante, ed è stato eccezionale. L’atmosfera romantica e curata nei minimi dettagli ha reso la serata speciale, con luci soffuse e una musica di sottofondo perfetta per un momento intimo. Piatti della tradizione locale preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e una maestria che esalta i sapori. Ogni portata era un capolavoro: dai primi saporiti ai dessert deliziosi, tutto è stato impeccabile. Ma ciò che ha davvero fatto la differenza è stato il servizio: il personale è stato gentile, attento e sempre sorridente. Ti fanno sentire coccolato dall’inizio alla fine. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere una serata indimenticabile.

21/09/2025: The pizza was truly awful, very dry and barely topped. When I paid, they even gave me a receipt that they said was for tax purposes, but it was fake. The location is near a sewer that doesn't smell at all.

11/08/2025: Bar/cafe in the Commenda area. From the outside, it's a bar like any other... as soon as you walk in, yes, you feel like you've stepped back in time... there are three tables in the first room, and in the next room, they've tastefully furnished tables, chairs, and curtains... very charming and intimate. Very good croissants, equally good soy cappuccino. The phrases of the day written on the chalkboard are beautiful. They also have a tobacconist and snack shop. The owners are kind and take care of their customers.

09/05/2025: nice atmosphere because it looks like one of those bars from the past. we stopped for breakfast after work and the lady seemed almost annoyed, not at all friendly. I took a sandwich, paid almost 6 euros which, in terms of quality/price, gave me shivers. too bad, if we knew it before we certainly wouldn't stop, for us never again!

01/08/2025: I stopped by chance for lunch and I have to say that the place is beautiful and welcoming, the staff is excellent, the food is plentiful and practically perfect.

15/07/2025: I'll start by saying this isn't my first time here, and I've never had a bad experience. I just went to get some pizza (takeout) for lunch with a friend. As soon as we started asking which pieces we wanted, the guy serving us told us we couldn't order slices that were too small, otherwise he'd end up with pieces too small to sell. This is understandable, but: 1) the guy addressed us in a very arrogant tone, repeatedly telling us "Again, I can't sell you a piece that small!!" or "Guys, it's the same old story again, I can't sell you a piece that small," all the while smiling to himself as if we'd asked for something absurd, and visibly annoyed by our (I'd say normal) requests. 2) If I may be so bold, the slices of pizza that would have been left on the counter (if he'd sold us the other half) wouldn't have been that small after all. Furthermore, if I go alone to get some pizza for lunch, you can't expect me to pay €5 for each topping because €5 in total will cover lunch. 3) Normally, where common sense rules apply, first of all, you politely respond to the customer by explaining the situation, without resorting to arrogance or presumption. Second, you can remedy the problem simply by taking a piece of Margherita the size the customer wants and topping it with the requested ingredients (as is done in many other pizzerias by the slice, even here in Rovigo). Now, I repeat myself, but if you really don't want to solve the problem as described, just politely explain the situation and the customer will be more willing to accept what you've said. As for the pizza, it's average, but definitely too greasy. Overall, it's not bad. The service has never been fantastic, but this time it went too far. It's a shame because the pizzeria has so much more potential. I don't think I'll be back.

15/07/2025: Good pizza, a little greasy. I've always had good service, but today the service was terrible. The guy who served me kept repeating, in an arrogant tone, that I had to take whole slices, because otherwise he'd have leftovers. Please stay and cut the slices.

24/09/2025: Family-run trattoria and pizzeria, a welcoming atmosphere with just a few tables and a wood-fired pizza oven. Fast and friendly service. The menu offers a good variety, including several off-menu options based on the catch of the day, all exquisitely prepared. I opted for a seafood salad as an appetizer and a mixed fried fish with vegetables, both excellent and in generous portions. The extra-large fried fish portion was a real treat. The price is very fair for the quality of the fish and the type of restaurant. I highly recommend it!

13/09/2025: Today is our second time here. The first time, we had fish, pizza, and a pasta dish. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The second time, we had pasta and two meat dishes. It was again very tasty and plentiful. The antipasti is also highly recommended. The tiramisu was also truly delicious. The staff is very friendly and always present. The location is a bit out of the way and therefore very quiet. All in all, highly recommended. Therefore, 5 out of 5 stars. If we vacation here again, we will definitely stop by again.

17/10/2025: What a disgrace!! They can't even write an invoice!! The staff is distracted, incompetent, and has no desire to try to please the customer! Not to mention the food... awful!! Dirty place... truly the worst place I've ever eaten.

21/08/2025: Terrible experience. Poor overall hygiene, with cobwebs visible in several areas of the place. The electrical system appears to be substandard, and the bathrooms are barely decent. The service was poor, and the quality of the products offered was decidedly questionable. Furthermore, the price is very high compared to what is offered. I do not recommend it.

02/07/2025: a hamburger in "Periferia"? No sooner said than done. Very nice place, we were passing by and stopped and who would have ever said.... Everything perfect and good, yay... but they told us that the place will move to Rovigo

14/04/2025: Small but well organised, with really friendly and helpful staff. They kindly let us change seats compared to where we were initially to be more comfortable and less "crowded". Really high quality of food, portions perhaps not too large (sandwiches not huge) but still composed really well. The menu is not too sparse but not too extensive, however there is a good combination of dishes. The speed of service was really high, we had dinner in a short time. Advised!

28/08/2025: The restaurant is open again, a completely new space, very elegant, and there are even new dishes. I recommend you come and try it; I really had a great experience.

30/05/2025: Abbiamo preso spaghetti con le vongole, grigliata di crostacei mia moglie,io una grigliata di carne, consapevole che in un posto di mare non poteva essere la loro specialità, e verdure pastellate. I piatti di pesce, in particolare gli spaghetti con le vongole non erano granché come gusto, la grigliata di carne era rinsecchita ( riscaldata ? ) e le verdure pastellate non gustose.

08/05/2025: Sono in camper e devo raggiungere una area di sosta poco lontano dopo un viaggio caratterizzato da ingorghi,traffico intenso, rallentamenti. Mi ricordo di questo ristorante visto che ci passo spesso davanti durante le mie precedenti soste al lido di Boccasette. Mi fermo (c'è un ampio parcheggio) e chiedo se potessero farmi due porzioni di fritto di pesce da asporto (ore 13,in pieno servizio). La gentilissima signora si informa in cucina e mi nel giro di 15 minuti mi viene preparata una ottima,fragrante ed abbondante frittura che consumo in camper con mio marito. Volevo però sottolineare come,oltre alla bontà del cibo,le signore del locale siano state incredibilmente gentili,pazienti e premurose nei miei confronti avendo un problema con il pagamento (le carte non funzionavano credo a causa di mancato collegamento dovuto al maltempo) e si siano rese disponibili ad accettare un bonifico fornendomi pazientemente i dati. Grazie di cuore, ritornerò sicuramente a gustare i vostri piatti serviti da persone così solari e deliziose!
