03/09/2025: After sitting down at an uncovered table, we were greeted by the restaurant's alleged manager, who gestured wildly and cursed. The waiter also asked us why we had just sat down without asking and why we had chosen this particular table, which wasn't yet cleared and was supposedly reserved (but had no sign). However, there was no one at the entrance to greet us. We left after this unfriendly reception.
31/08/2025: Good pizza, delicious pasta, and a fantastic view. The service was attentive and quick, and the kids felt very comfortable. The only downside is that the "sailing school," like the campsite, is a bit dated. But that doesn't detract from the delicious food!

14/09/2025: We love it. Simple and delicious at lunch. Make sure to make a reservation in the evening.
08/09/2025: Like every year, we stopped by for weekend lunch and had a great time despite a few negative reviews, but then again, in Italy we're all doctors and we all know how to do everything behind a keyboard.
Recommended, and at least make some of the criticisms seem lame.

15/02/2026: The food was good overall, but unfortunately the evening was marred by other very negative aspects. The service was sloppy and disorganized, and most importantly, we weren't shown a menu, so we ordered without having the slightest idea of the prices. This made the final bill decidedly unpleasant and unexpected. The portions were extremely small, especially the raw fish portions, which were disappointing compared to expectations. Furthermore, the place was very dirty, full of cobwebs and dust! Absurd!
03/02/2026: As always, after years and years, meeting up with Franco and his excellent cuisine, amazing wines and welcoming environment is always an exciting experience.
Do I need to add anything???

15/11/2025: For the first time and also the last, I tried this take-out pizzeria, they replaced an ingredient on the pizza because they didn't have it in house, increasing the price, higher than the list price, I didn't find the pizza good at all, in fact the dough was chewy....

08/11/2025: I'm a regular at this restaurant, but something happened today that I didn't like. My little girl was playing with the bell on the table, and that disrespectful waitress yelled at her terribly. She's not polite at all; she's not fit to work on the front lines. She wears glasses, is disrespectful, and spends most of her time talking and working. If I hadn't kept my cool, something terrible could have happened. I treated my daughter with respect, but I will file a complaint against the waitress because my daughter was traumatized by her behavior.
05/11/2025: This place has gradually deteriorated over the years, especially in terms of staff. The food, however, is still decent.

25/05/2026: Terrible service. Unnecessarily expensive. The red-haired bartender taking orders at the counter doesn't make any of the drinks properly. The place is nice, but the service is terrible; it's like they gave a Ferrari to a tractor driver.
20/05/2026: I've been going to Borsari for a while, stopping by because I like the pastry shop and the atmosphere.
But the service really got to me. I had to wait at least 20-25 minutes before ordering, and then wait for two lattes and three pastries to arrive. So the minimum wait time is 1 hour. Yet the staff is there.
The second really absurd thing is the €0.20-€0.50 (still can't figure it out) surcharge PER PIECE for table service. This is truly unjustified.
My choice is elsewhere now 🫰🏻

29/11/2025: Thanks to Matteo, Sara, Andrea, and Valentina. The hotel is still afloat thanks to these four guys. As for the rest... it's a sinking ship, starting with the owner.
09/10/2025: We booked a "Spa and Pizza" package. A very kind lady at reception explained our package to us. The pool, whirlpools, sensory showers, sun loungers, Turkish bath, and sauna were all wonderful. The waiters were friendly and helpful. Ample parking was available. A wonderful experience.

13/07/2025: What we ate was good, but it's a shame that only about a third of the menu was available... so the choices were quite limited.
The prices were a bit too high, in my opinion, for the quality of the dishes.

29/10/2025: I'm sorry, but after a few years of going there without any problems, I won't be returning to this place. I may have been wrong not to specify my intolerance, but if I ask for a pizza without mozzarella, you can't bring it with buffalo mozzarella, claiming it's not regular mozzarella, and most importantly rolling your eyes. I risk feeling really sick. No apology and no chance to remake the pizza, the waitress and pizza chef were visibly annoyed. I asked for at least the mozzarella to be removed... just a little, here and there, just to please me. I'm sorry, but that's not the way to behave. Allergies and intolerances are serious problems. I always try not to bother anyone, but you were very rude.

22/12/2025: Okay, McDonald's, no point in expecting much in terms of food. The usual processed sandwiches. Great if, like me, you don't feel like cooking in the evening or are late for work. Clean environment and fairly fast service. The parking lot in front of the entrance is too small; you have to park at the farm and walk there. It's always full on weekends.
16/12/2025: Paid bags must be communicated at the time of ordering so that a person is free to choose whether to pay 0.15 cents for a greasy bag or to do without it.

17/08/2025: Perfect for starting the day with an espresso, ice cream, light snacks, or breakfast. Located right next to the supermarket and the small shopping area. As lovely as ever, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back for our morning espresso. All the best.
15/08/2025: Half fresh and half diluted juice, regular frozen croissants, stale biscuits.
Table service depends on the time of day.

23/03/2026: The hotel is abandoned. The restaurant: lunch was deplorable and of terrible quality. Dinner was even worse; the pizza was tasteless. The restaurant's atmosphere resembles a hospital cafeteria. It needs to be modernized and managed better. The customers are mostly workers and/or foreigners who work in the area. Only the location is good, easily accessible, and with ample parking... everything else is horrible...
